Reed and Morningstar barely touched the floor in 2007-08 and they were the core of our team that was #2 last year going into the tournament while this KU team was rated #4. This leaves me to believe college basketball has obviously gotten worse. Aldrich was 4th on deck this year and he still made a fool out of Hansbrough.

In this March Madness, I picked Kansas vs. Memphis in the championship game with Kansas winning it all. I had $200 on the line with this game in a betting tournament and I almost turned the game off with 2 minutes to go and Kansas down 9 points. But then Arthur made the jumper and Collins made the clutch steal and 3-pointer. Still Memphis had to miss a couple of free throws and then Chalmers hit the most clutch shot I have ever seen. Then you knew that Kansas would win in overtime. Just godly...
I didn't think that Memphis really had the talent to make it to the final four, so i never really cheered for them. But everyone else did (ugh). All they had was derrick rose. But i really underestimated that team and they got to the final four, and killed UCLA. But what i have always said was: When a team gets a lot of hype cause they have one of the best players in the country, they will never go ALL THE WAY. And that came true when Memphis missed those free throws & when Chalmers made that 3.

Didn't tie the game, but the won it. Final as a Mortal Kombat Fatality! The OT period was barely competitive.
today was an extremely disappointing day for me. I had to watch Kansas lose to Northern Iowa. Kansas just did not play like they really wanted it. I love the Jayhawks but they didn't do what they had to do. Hopefully aldrich stays and we improve and get ready for next season. But i'll never forget this game. This was the best championship TEAM i've ever witnessed.

I love how savvy the Kansas cheerleaders seem, its like Ohio State football cheerleaders, they really get excited when their team performs; caring a lot more about the game than most. When Mario hits that 3 they go nuts, I love when the 2 hug each other ;).

i hated that KU won, being a UNC fan with beef with how some KU folks treated roy after he left. but one thing i think we can all agree on is.....it's a helluva lot better than calipari getting a championship.

We did and now I'm fine with Roy and wish him the best, I didn't care to much for him before that though haha

I love how people say Kansas chokes. Kansas has 5 NCAA titles. How many schools have that many or more? Just a handful. That thinking is asinine. By that reasoning all but one team chokes every year. Give me a break.

The gifted first-year point guard of a Calipari coached team cracking under big time pressure? A loaded Calipari team that clanked a game away on free throws? Isn't that a familiar story. Memphis was a neat team, a lot of unique players meshing into a powerhouse. Jayhawks played with poise, however, and Tigers folded. Perils of 1 and done players. Man, Chalmers shot was insane. Didn't tie the game, but the won it. Final as a Mortal Kombat Fatality! The OT period was barely competitive.

today was an extremely disappointing day for me. I had to watch Kansas lose to Northern Iowa. Kansas just did not play like they really wanted it. I love the Jayhawks but they didn't do what they had to do. Hopefully aldrich stays and we improve and get ready for next season. But i'll never forget this game. This was the best championship TEAM i've ever witnessed.
