  • Hi.. REAL Cz21 are unit with two led on top (see on internet some picture different)..other version no work 100%...

    greetings from Italy..

  • Helldpdigr, Jersey this fall...your more then welcome

  • I own the AT Pro. Let me have a chance to look for those buried rings. I'll show you how to run the machine. 14 on ground balance?! Really! No wonder you can't find anything! Like I said give me a chance to run my machine. If I find anything I get to keep it. Up for that? Learn your machine buddy! Also might want to try 0 on the discrim. You get a deeper signal.

  • We had planned on having a few PI's (DF & LS) there but due to weather conditions all we had were the three. We do have future plans for this again, maybe this fall.

  • I would have liked to see if the White's Surf DF in the comparison. Wondering if it would have hit at all the depths.

  • This was not a bash session on any one of the detectors. Everyone was hoping to learn a little about each others machines, And how each faired with the local conditions. Several hunters with different machines were invited, but dew to the weather and unseen circumstances just 3 showed.

  • First off. on the at pro you can't expect to get 14"+ readings out of a 10"-12" max machine. Second in 'Hot' sand you GB/-3-5 pts./ Zero Mode. Third you're comparing a $600. machine to $1200 and $1400 units. I own a AT Pro and there is a learning curve that is different from other MD's. It can be frustrating to learn but there is a load of info, tips & tricks on Youtube & the web. They are all good units the AT Pro will only be a coin shooter unless your willing to learn what it has to offer.

  • Half a scoop out of the hole and it was wet soup sand. We had trouble with the holes filling in.

  • Thanks Guys, This visit was a great lesson on this area which is about 3 hours from Baltimore, this keepimg open the OP for a visit after a good winter northeaster. Even though we were a distance from the water, digging the holes were a problem because the walls were collapsing and filling as quick as I could dig them with sand and water. The Jersey Beach's are very flat and low which calls for a different type of hunting then I'm use too, but I got some great tips from Ratpack.

  • Great job Joe, Gives the user a good feel what to listen for at the same time keeping in mind of the Halo Effect (punching deeper). You never know whats down there so dig all. Cool video...

  • Great info Thanks While the test were equal for all.I think you could have done the test closer to the water or dumped water on the targets to tighten the sand. We all know how poorly targets respond once disturbed.Loose sand is just better than an air test compacted sand better. Make that wet sand and its more likely a senerio we would come accross. Thanks again for putting the time in for all of us to learn and prosper from.Greta video!

  • Was he running in zero discrim on the AT-Pro? All I heard was max sensitivity and GB of 14. Zero Discrim gets better depth.

  • I can't even use my AT-Pro out here in wet sand, the black sand drives it crazy.
