  • Excelente hermano, muy bueno

  • nice legato , well done :)

  • the guitar i think is a Ibanez RG

  • where can this backing track be downloaded???

  • sickkk! :)

  • what is your set up?

    Guitar ?

    Amp?

    Pick ups ?

    ( Effects ?)

    good sound realy nice

  • I think he is using his PODXT in this one. And those look like stock pickups on his ESP Horizon.

  • you are latin man???? :D

  • Brilliant! Congratulations! ... Did you get it right enough? ... or is there still more?

  • very good, a real fusion's sound like Di Meola and others

  • bullshit, there are no rules Wasy.

  • where can i get that backing track?

  • ever heard of looping your own tracks, duh?

  • yeah, an i do it, but this one is better, and seems to be popular among fusion players

  • when does the moaning come in... really nice may I say rico porn music.

  • very nice!!!!!

    a french fan

  • some nice melodic ideas with all the chromatic stuff... but i kinda miss the dynamic in your playing

if you left away all that sweeping/speed-pickig crap and use a little bit more dynamic you could be a real good funk guitarist...

  • what distortion pedal? tubezone?...tube screamer?

  • If i'm not wrong, it's a podxt ;)

  • Yeah!!Nice playing..see my videos please and comment!

    Vince

  • esa guitarra es una mh-400 de ltd???

  • yess ...amazing!!! you must be in the circle of guitargods, everything is perfect to me, can you share you backing track pls,is it possible,ty,,, keep shredding!!!

  • holy shit it's shawn lane

  • i really like the armonization. you must try playing jazz. not that horrible distortioned music. anyway good job. Funny the little guy on the back.

  • there's jazz where they use distortion on the guitar..

  • frank gambale! check him out!

  • yeah.. it was aimed at CentellaReggae cos he called it "horrible distortioned music."

  • Try and see some improvisations from miles davis for example. They usually use the same licks transposed for one or another song, or lines from other songs. Improvising isn't always "live" ;)

  • good ....very very good improvisation!!!!

  • Excellent!!!

  • Great technique and sound!

  • Your right hand technique reminds me of shawn lane. You are very talented my friend!

  • muy copado

  • that tone is great...

  • some very nice guitar got really sick at the end, really enjoyed it.

  • That's nice man. Real nice.

Saludos

  • what guitar you using?

  • An ESP Horizon FR-II

  • thanks. i love it. looks really comfortable.

  • i just checked it out, does it really cost $2900? damn!!!

Saludos.

  • puta madre me volaste la cabeza loco!!

    jajaja buenisimooooo

    =)

  • fabulous!!! where have you learn the fusio rock style?

    is there method,dvd?

  • very cool!

  • Excellent playing, tone and feel. Nice one!

  • Wow. I could learn alot from this video!

There's alot of stuff that hear in my favourite recordings, which I don't really understand how the guitarist plays it.

Are those "holdsworth-esque" runs just string skipping chromatics? Do you have any tablature of some of the licks you play?

  • That an esp horizon ? cool guitar is it a custom?

  • I think name dropping respected guitar players names as tags for your video is low. Same playing with a new guitarists name on the tags on every video you make.

  • makinaaaaaa!!!

  • nice

  • Muy bueno Paco. Me gustó mucho. saludos tambien desde Madrid-España.

  • man that is awesome, you are truly a league of your own, I am a fan...you are totally smokin that guitar.

  • your distortion sounds really good. what are you using?

  • Just a PODxt, man. I customized an user´s patch you can find in Line6 website, which try to imitate John Petrucci´s Mark IV.

    Thanks for commenting!

  • You are amazing... very creative

  • Fantastic work sir. Not too far to go before you can join Howe, Henderson et al. Impressed!

  • mu bien paco , saludos de chile

  • hey man ever been in camfrog? guitarhell?

  • great man.. any advice about legato?

  • cool!! where can i find the backing track? Which Total Guitar? thanks

  • Cool. If you have videos of any of your own songs please send em to me. I might like to use them in a future Guitars Suck (check my videos page for details).

  • Thanks! My name is Paco Hernández, I live i Spain and this is no original song of mine, it is a backing track from a Total Guitar CD. Altough I´m mainly into progressive/neoclassical, I love improvising over this kind of stuff. It´s really good to develope a tight and reasoneable phrasing, beyond mere uncontrolled shred. Thanks again!!!

  • Great guitar, great playing. What's your name, and what do you call this piece?
