if u want it to be symmetrical fold the poster board in half and draw half of it out,

and dont paint right next to your house ,ive yelled at my kids for that a few times :)

if you take some black on a paint brush and just run your finger over it where the paint flies of onto the armor it looks cool after you have the paint on

I used armor like this for SCA heavy combat it will protect you pretty well. We used rattan swords wrapped in duct tape, I made armor out of this 20years ago.
