Its a shame that Bas Rutten, Fedor, & other MMA Patriarchs couldn´t pool their wealth and create a Bigger & Better MMA Competitive Fighting Association to overshadow the corrupted and pathetic UFC. Dana White needs some real competition, MMA Fighters need legitimate channels for their own development and fans want to see REAL Fighting. Take the time to look at Lesnar´s defense to Carwins Stand Up, Brock received several straight hands. On the ground, he fell into a fetal position. Round 2 comes along, Carwin stays still on the ground while Lesnar submits him TOO EASILY. I know Carwin was winded but not that much. Peace!

@gerryherrera1978 UFC is not the most popular and competitive MMA tournament in the world for nothing. The skills that guys show in that octogon are amazing. The fighters can realy fight, not like some older tournaments that brought in fat guys with no skill at all. Fedor couldn't knock out Big Nog both went to decision (not counting the head butt NC fight), but Cain Valasquez and Mir can.... Lesnar toyed with Herring the entire fight laughing..... Mir, no off two consecutive losses. Lesnar's wrestling skill is a 9+ out of 10. Only guys like Karelin are superior in wrestling control ability. But Brock's power is freakish, so is his speed, and desire to learn. Carwin has no gas tank, Brock does (watch the Herring fight), so unless Carwin's hands are fast enough and POWERFUL enough to move the enormous neck + trapezius, Brock's Brain isn't moving far enough to KO him and Fedor does not have Carwins wrestling or punching power

And if you look at the lightweights Frankie Edgar isn't even on there either. One reason could be that these two guys put themselves out there more to get recognised, which got them their shots at the belts. Roids or no roids, I can't wait to see Chael back in the octagon!

Its a shame that Bas Rutten, Fedor, & other MMA Patriarchs couldn´t pool their wealth and create a Bigger & Better MMA Competitive Fighting Association to overshadow the corrupted and pathetic UFC. Dana White needs some real competition, MMA Fighters need legitimate channels for their own development and fans want to see REAL Fighting. Not Sport MMA, its a sad day in martial arts when fights are so blatantly fixed as in the case of Lesnar & Carwin. Bruce Lee would turn in his grave!

@Freeman34 I understand your doubt and I was a Lesnar Fan till his Carwin Fight. Truth be told the fight would have been stopped under normal conditions during the 1st round. Take the time to look at Lesnar´s defense to Carwins Stand Up, Brock received several straight hands. On the ground, he fell into a fetal position. Round 2 comes along, Carwin stays still on the ground while Lesnar submits him TOO EASILY. I know Carwin was winded but not that much. Peace!

The fighters can realy fight, not like some older tournaments that brought in fat guys with no skill at all. Fedor couldn't knock out Big Nog both went to decision (not counting the head butt NC fight), but Cain Valasquez and Mir can.... Lesnar toyed with Herring the entire fight laughing..... The Lesnar loss to Mir was thanks to Mazzagatti, everyone knows that. No warning, yet take a point away when it was half Mir's fault for trying to roll out and got hit on the head accidentally.....GSP got warned 4 times vs. Hughes in their 3rd fight same referee....

How convenient, that now Nog fails like so many other PrideFC stars (A. Silva, Shogun seem to be the exceptions).... I loved old Pride, great stuff, other than the use of a roped ring, which is plain stupid. Uh, Herring wasn't allowed to train for six months because of that initial punch from Brock in the 1st rd that sent him rolling over backwards giving him multiple fractures to his orbital and cheek bones.

I mean, literally this is the first guy that at the time Fedor fought him could make it in the current UFC, since Cro Cop in 2005. And Werdum lost to JDS and got cut. Go watch the fight again and tell me how hurt Werdum actually was when he 'went' down? Looks like arm catching contact after a few punches is what dropped Werdum to me, not a punch.

Look what happens to your boy when he fights a UFC cut that is still in his prime (Sylvia, Arlovski, Coleman, and Lindland were all washed up when Fedor fought them. Just look at what happened to those guys' careers since fighting Fedor. Seems like his management could pick named fighters that were washed up. Maybe because Arona controlled Fedor virtually the whole fight and would have GnP'd him to a pulp if strikes to the face on the ground were allowed. Arona had more takedowns, had the better position for longer, and pushed the action.

More excuses..... That Sambo argument is completely bogus fabrication made-up excuse. White did allow for it. Fedor's greedy manager wanted too much money or he doesn't want to fight the top guys, since number 2 through 7 are ALL in the UFC and have been since before the 'talks' began. Fedor will TKO Werdum late IMO. If it goes to the ground it's a toss-up. Werdum is 2nd only to Big Nog in HW BJJ. He's gotten bigger as well. Overeem/Fedor wow. Overeem is so strong, fast, and explosive. He'll win on the feet and I don't know if Fedor can take that monster down. Please don't tell me Lesnar, Carwin, Mir, Big Nog, Dos Santos, Velasquez, are not deserving to fight Fedor. Every page even biased against UFC ones have them all in the top 10 HW.

Mir, no off two consecutive losses. Lesnar's wrestling skill is a 9+ out of 10. Only guys like Karelin are superior in wrestling control ability. But Brock's power is freakish, so is his speed, and desire to learn. Carwin has no gas tank, Brock does (watch the Herring fight), so unless Carwin's hands are fast enough and POWERFUL enough to move the enormous neck + trapezius, Brock's Brain isn't moving far enough to KO him and Fedor does not have Carwins wrestling or punching power

Carwin is a far better wrestler than Fedor. And, yes his punching power is superior to Fedor. So is Lesnar's. Ever see Fedor punch someone one time and have the guy roll over backwards across the Cage/ring (ie. Lesnar vs. Herring).
