I used cereal boxes. hot glue two layers together to keep shape. add layer from plastic bag to keep suit from sweat damage

@sethydeathy Hey, I've started a prototype of this suit - and I've noticed it's fairly thin. How thick is yours? Also, how did you make the circular shoulder pieces? They look a lot cleaner in the newer videos.

I'm thinking about just taking some white football knee pads, seeing as it would give the same effect.

Use two layers of cereal boxes and put layer from cut plastic bag between(so your sweat don't mess it up. use study carboard for the inner layer. Also I used a lot of sponges covered in black fabric to make it look bigger The shoulder at the curve point is shred up so it could bend both ways. Earlier I use plaster to fill in crack. if you can buy it that's fine.

Thanks for the inspiration! After I finish my Batman costume, (And let my wallet recover a bit!) I think I'm going to start on a clone trooper costume. I really do love this one.

I think I'll make it out of foam board / posterboard (cardboard) with maybe some harder foam pieces.

I already have the same helmet, so I'll just do a custom paint job on it.

If you would, is there any advice you could give me before I start on this?

I empty the excess crap on the inside and put cardboard for the visor

shoulder:I made a oval (more narrow on bottom) and make many slits side ways so it can bend two ways. as well fill in the cracks with strips of cardboard.

elbo: just make the shape and curve it and use fabric elastic band to attach

knee: get three layers of cardboard, elastic and Velcro (buckle would be better)

make sure you use a hot glue gun. duct tape does not last long.

make sure every thing is strong and stay togather
