That iguana looks HUGE! How big is this beastie? I've wanted to get one for a while but I know they take lots of care and attention to keep them healthy. I have a safe, quiet environment for them in my room which is on a separate floor from the rest of the house but I'm still a little unsure what to do for housing. I can build a larger cage from wood and cover it with screen but I'm curious then how to keep the humidity up.

You need a cage thats at LEAST 6' tall, and it should be as wide and deep as the lizard is long, preferably enclosed to regulate humidity. Free roaming is dangerous for them, as they tend to try to eat stuff they find while exploring (ie: anything small you leave on the floor).

oh yes they do not like change so he feels he is out of his territory now so it may keep him from going into mating season this time at least until he feels comfortable in the new place. anywhere an iguana can walk without being challanged he will slowly claim that as his territory then later if its still the mating season time of the year he may or he may just wait till next year

Iguanas will usually not eat once they're are put to a new place, if u want it to eat well, you have to give leave it alone for about 1-2 days, just make sure you don't give him the wrong food or it'll die eventually.

He's stressed...give him time. Do you have proper heat lamp and UVB tube..they will die without it. Make sure you measure the distance for correct heat (lamp wattage)
