Great movie.. but a lesson that can be applied to not just police officers but everyone. When Serpico says"a few straight cops and we'll have this city cleaned up in no time" .. just imagine what would happen if people were to look after one another and do the right thing.. this world would be a better place.

@jrjr143 It is very true what you say. But there is something else: USA since decades is pushing Europe to "become multicultural" e.g. to allow any kind of scumbag from Africa, West and South Asia. These "multiculturals" flood the European countries, poison them with islam, non-hygiene, crime, non-controlled birth rate, etc and bring to suffocation the European nations and their civilization.

In that sense what you describe in USA is like a boomerang going back to the one who threw it.

What Serpico did was a very brave and manly thing to do, heroic. But this sort of fight, is not just in law enforcement, it could happen, if there are any brave people like him, in almost any situation, field or wherever you find such situations. His fight is universal.
