that is not something beneficial to the caterpillar, therefore it is not mutualism, cause mutualism means beneficial. I dont even think its commensalism, cause it cause great negative effect on the caterpillar.

Saying this symbiotic relationship came about though natural selection actuing on random mutations is a faith based statement of the highest order.

the whole point of the video is to show the relationship between the ants and the caterpillar who they are supposed to be protecting. they didnt save him so it didnt show the point of the video at all
