Pacific Blue should start flying domestic in other places in NZ as well as the trunk routes, like Palmerston North, Rotorua, Hamilton, Invercargill. They would make a kiling if they put their prices lower than Air NZ because more people would choose Pacific Blue because it would be the cheapest and more people would fly to those places because they would b cheapr. Air NZ is the only airline that goes 2 most of those places that why the fares r so high.

i think the cs is saying it wayyy to fast. Or it must of been a very short taxi hahah. I have friends that fly vaus and apprently its not goin 2 well. They r headn over 2 lax with a half empty plane at times. I totally agree that is the worst thing that vb has done. in the last financial year they lost so much money. I think its a great product but they should review thier employee benefits...as that will save alot of money....etc overnights?

DUH! ofcourse you would fly one of those because Virgin blue is australian and they only have small boeing 737s, and Embraer E-170s, and 190s. so you would have to fly to australia to be on virgin blue. so you would naturally pick delta or one of the other virgin airlines (V australia okay because they fly international to america). huff puff!

Well they've just closed down all the Virgin Megastores in the US so it won't be long before the Virgin brand slowly dies out.

Virgin Money in Australia no longer exists and the Virgin Megastores here will be closing down soon too.

There will just be Virgin Atlantic and thats it. V Australia is the worst thing Virgin Blue could have done.

Shes doing all the actions wayyyy too quickly before the PA mentions anything. Shes all out of sync. The girl needs to slow down so she is in line with the PAs, its wayy to confusing when the supervisor is talking about strip lighting on the floor while this girl is pointing to the seatbelt sign.

And Asianboi, Its virgin blue, the fact is, nothing is for free. There isn't a tap where you can get fresh cold water, Only hot water. Why would you expect a glass of water. it only costs 2 bucks....

I took this exact flight in 2005, but the safety demonstration was much more exciting than this. When they mentioned the whistle, they said that it was for attracting members of the opposite sex.

Virgin are ok for a cheap ass airline, Jetstar are cheaper though. Just be careful with Virgin they close check in really early and charge you heaps for excess baggage!

i went from Melb to Perth in 2004 with Virgin ...i cant remember these safety instructions ? as i think i was unconcious at the time from flight shock !

I think by 5, Jazzamcc meant the number of Flight attendants required on the 800, not the number of exits. You are right the 800 does have 2 more exits overwing than the 700, but also requires one less Fa. You are both right. Hooray for everything!!
