  • this doesn't sound violent at all.

  • @yuri60014 Perhaps you should learn to read just a bit better, V i o l e t, Not Violent.

    No N.

  • Love this version!

  • This was always my favourite remix of "Wreath Of Barbs"

Such a contrast to the original, very nice.

  • Not sure if I like this version or not. On one hand it's an entirely new perspective on the song, but on the other hand it's an entirely new perspective on the song. Know what I mean?

    It's deep man, real deep.

Or maybe I'm high, who knows.

Hello internet, it's a beautiful night.

  • Is this you singing it? It sounds so AMAZING!!!

  • @deadmasta13

Hi! search for "Violet Wreath of barbs" and you'll find a live version of this coverversion...

  • wumpscut the best frickin band ever

  • Weak.

  • HOw can you ruin industrial? With this....

  • I think it is "Violet" (Amelia Brightman) thesister of Sarah Brightman, but not sure.

  • No, it's me, Bianca from Violet. :)

  • I really like it

  • This is a beautiful twist on wumpscut.

  • this is really good!

  • Good cover, nice voice, beautiful performance. Thanks!

  • I'm a huge :wumpscut: fan/rivethead overall... Embryodead and Wreath of Barbs are two of my favorite albums. However, I also grew up in Tennessee so I have a deep connection to country, bluegrass, and folk.

I found this to be absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much! Who is this?

  • That's VIOLET from Germany.

  • i like rudy's music alot. and this is just a sign that he's capable of real music and not only the brute stuff like "war"...

  • Well, I like his music too, but he actually didn't record this - VIOLET did. :)

  • I am a HUGE fan of Wumpscut, and even though this version may not me my personal type of music i would listen to, i think it is beautiful in it's own sense. The fact that you took your time to make this, and do something like this shows how different this song can sound. Bravo.

  • I don't like it.

  • I think it sounds great.

  • I've been listening to Wumpscut for years and always felt the lyrics let the otherwise great music down. It seems to be the case with a lot of those euro bands/artists unfortunately.

  • Really zen? How UNamazing.

  • Who cares?

  • @ladyraven83 People who listen to real music.. And not american bullshit.... I have a totaly of 3 american songs.... And they are Rabbit junk... That is REAL industrial..

  • Vampire Weekend is American (I think). And they're awesome.

  • @monkeytoy0 Not everyone is obliged to like the same music as you and no one here (or anywhere) is living to please you. If you don't like the song, move on. You sound like an utter tool saying that this one song turned you off from an entire group/band/whatever.

  • @ladyraven83 Not that it turned me off from the DJ but it just made a once good song into a discras to industrial lovers

  • I'm going to ditto on "Who cares?" comment. The only folk that really give a damn about the opinions of musical elitists are fellow musical elitists. Don't get me wrong, I love industrial music, but industrial bands so often fall into temptation to create music to dance to (rather than stomp faces to) that I've no real care for the purity of the genre anymore. For all intents and purposes, the genre disgraced itself.

Nonetheless, the woman singing in this cover has a pretty good voice.

  • @monkeytoy0 youre retarded there are few modern industrial acts the rest is plagued with A: mindlessness B: politically mindless... and 99% of it sounds like shit, no matter where its from...... and this is an artistic expression through a more primitive sound (something :W: is known for)

so sit down and shut up. nobody cares about what you have to say.

  • This is a gorgeous version, I like that it sounds different than the original. Yes, the original is bad-ass but the sensual bluesy twist gives it a whole different feel for me.

  • What band/artist made this remix/cover?

  • This was done by Wumpscut :)

  • its not good

  • I could listen to this song from here to eternity.

  • I know it's called a "remix", but actually it's a coverversion, it's been recorded with real instruments like drums, guitars, dulcimer, violin etc...
