Not sure if I like this version or not. On one hand it's an entirely new perspective on the song, but on the other hand it's an entirely new perspective on the song. Know what I mean?
I'm a huge :wumpscut: fan/rivethead overall... Embryodead and Wreath of Barbs are two of my favorite albums. However, I also grew up in Tennessee so I have a deep connection to country, bluegrass, and folk.
I found this to be absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much! Who is this?
I am a HUGE fan of Wumpscut, and even though this version may not me my personal type of music i would listen to, i think it is beautiful in it's own sense. The fact that you took your time to make this, and do something like this shows how different this song can sound. Bravo.

do you have an instrumental of this song?
its not that the singing is bad its actually good. the lyrics don't really work for someones thats a native english speaker. in the original song it was okay because you couldn't understand what he was saying.
I've been listening to Wumpscut for years and always felt the lyrics let the otherwise great music down. It seems to be the case with a lot of those euro bands/artists unfortunately.

Because they arent americanized wich makes them better because all amercanized music is a love song or hate song.. Industrial (This USED TO BE) Is about expressing the self using what type of music you want.. By mixing genres to make what sounds good to the artist.... But doing this.. Just ruins what used to be a great song.. My favorite song.... Americanizing songs.... Just wrong.. Leave it to the original artist. Shit like this should never be released...
@ladyraven83 People who listen to real music.. And not american bullshit.... I have a totaly of 3 american songs.... And they are Rabbit junk... That is REAL industrial..
@monkeytoy0 Not everyone is obliged to like the same music as you and no one here (or anywhere) is living to please you. If you don't like the song, move on. You sound like an utter tool saying that this one song turned you off from an entire group/band/whatever.
I'm going to ditto on "Who cares?" comment. The only folk that really give a damn about the opinions of musical elitists are fellow musical elitists. Don't get me wrong, I love industrial music, but industrial bands so often fall into temptation to create music to dance to (rather than stomp faces to) that I've no real care for the purity of the genre anymore. For all intents and purposes, the genre disgraced itself.
Nonetheless, the woman singing in this cover has a pretty good voice.
@monkeytoy0 youre retarded there are few modern industrial acts the rest is plagued with A: mindlessness B: politically mindless... and 99% of it sounds like shit, no matter where its from...... and this is an artistic expression through a more primitive sound (something :W: is known for)
so sit down and shut up. nobody cares about what you have to say.
This is a gorgeous version, I like that it sounds different than the original. Yes, the original is bad-ass but the sensual bluesy twist gives it a whole different feel for me.

this is like a country and western version of a truly great goth-industrial song. it's actually embarrassing to listen to. the original was SOOO much better. the only decent remix i've heard (and there have been several) is one by Neuroticfish.
this doesn't sound violent at all.

@ladyraven83 Not that it turned me off from the DJ but it just made a once good song into a discras to industrial lovers

I know it's called a "remix", but actually it's a coverversion, it's been recorded with real instruments like drums, guitars, dulcimer, violin etc...
