What is the name of tanker 25 and the one with the headlights? what kinda plane is that, i learned it once but forgot, and them over my house every year when fires rip through, Paradise/Chico area just annoys me that i cant place the name. Does anyone know?
This summer I was fortunate enough to see several of these in action and up close. Those guys are awesome pilots. The pilots that the forest service uses for their helitack crews around here are the best I've ever seen too.
The Aero Union P3 Orions being led by a C90 King Air Lead plane. Very cool. The P3 aircraft are in Aero Union colors and are based in Chico California (CIC). Very cool video.

Tanker 25 is one of many P-3As and P-3Cs of Aero Union Corporation, which they are based in Chico, CA.

Yep, Tanker 25 and 00 seen in the video are P-3 Orion/Aerostars, owned by Aero Union. They have several of them.
