There is more crime in Bermuda committed by blacks, because blacks as a race are less economically well-off. Whites generally are more well-off, so the need to commit crime as a desperate attempt at survival is less. Also because of overall white economic prosperity, the chances of sending your children to the best private schools and colleges is higher, therefore the likelihood that their white children will become productive citizens, and not criminals, is higher.

@dragonyeuw Might have to do with the fact that 70% of the island is made up of blacks. I've arrested Black, white, asian, and oriental people on the island. Many of my fellow officers were black and I could have trusted my life with most. same everywhere... the less money the family has, the likelyhood that the youngsters are going to commit crime. You can give me the thumbs down, but I've spent 25 years in law enforcement and am a lawyer. I think i might have some clue.
