  • the left hand pattern you said that was the same as beginning is not what you are playing here. BFE then the AEAE then return. you taught in the beginning something different. and also is there a good bassline to go underneath the beginning part...the second part's bassline is sick but im struggling for a part for the former.

  • GEAT THANKS!

  • thank you

  • thanks so much. God bless.

  • no problem

  • thanks this helps a lot=)

Disculpame.

    Abraxas

  • its ok. esta bien

  • your explanations are good and all, but I have some advice for you so that perhaps your videos could be even more helpful. I'm a classical pianist and seeing the sheet music is a tremendous help for me, perhaps you should post the sheet music while you play, because while you are showing the listeners how to play, they may find some difficulties in finding the rhythms, and thats where sheet music can help. I know that explaining the sheet music can be tedious so just post it for a few seconds.

  • you know what, ive never had any body mention that to me. it definetly sounds like a good idea. but i have a problem how would i do that. i dont know much about music sheets..

  • yeah, I know what you mean, I don't really know how you would make that happen either, I just watch vids you know?

  • Latinpianist, i got so exited when i saw your videos they are so helpful specially for those who just want to learn ......please don't stop recording if you only knew how many you bless.........Gbu ........

  • Thank you. I wont stop. people like you make me go forward.

  • this video has helped me work with my left hand and has inspired me to wanna learn more..thank you and god bless you

  • God bless you more. Im happy that you are learning. Anything i can help with let me know.

  • well ive been prcticing on and off. ithink its because i get dicouraged and all. i think i almost have what you play in this video..almost but let just say im missing a couple of things..god bless.how many years have you been playing?

  • ive been playing since 2002

  • who tought you?

  • Bravo for your lessons.

I might collect all of your videos. Cut not necessary stuff and post one overall video.

    Keep in touch.

  • hey. that sounds like a good idea. when you going to do that?

  • When u giving me lessons man !!!

  • when ever you want. what kind of lessons

  • you said a# but you meant g# cuz theres no a in an E major chord.

  • did i really say A#? Oh my...i meant the other one. Thank you for noticing though.

  • no problem. It was a pretty good video though...fun to play. I'm a jazz pianist myself and i love listening to other styles of piano playing

  • hey awesome playing i have the same piano as you do what beat do you use drum wise so i can find in mine thanks..

  • use 169.for songo. 196 for salsa and uder those latin ones too.

  • that was amazing!

  • thank you

  • are you retarted?

  • great lesson. you can also try adding a D7 chord after Am instead of doing two bars of Am. the bass i use for that is:

    B F E G# A Eb D A# B ...etc

    give it a shot! ;)

  • hey sounds good. nice

  • THANKS A LOT :l)

  • thank you

  • or preferably *G sharp* 2:53

  • either way...thanks though

  • ah yes there you go.

  • *A Flat... 2:53

  • I know. Im not use to playing on Dm. I already knew i needed that flat.

  • actually, it's a G sharp since the chord is E major.

  • Dear Latin Pianist. Thank you very much for your generous soul and for sharing your talent. May it all come back to you in the form of a million times bigger blessings. Keep it up and gracias!

  • de nada. I appreciate comments like yours. Love them. Thank you so much. Glory to God

  • Good evening, it is great to have a person that is so devoted to teaching piano lessons through this system, I have learned very much. I would like to ask one favor, I am in the process of composing a song to out Lord yet I have a key components missing. Have heard a song named Munequita by Cuisillos... I am very interested in knowing what the piano notes for that specific song are. Only the piano background, the rest is not needed. I would thank you very much...

  • thanks you for your comment. you mean the mexican band?

  • yes... I am looking for the piano background, it almost sounds similar to the salsa beat, but with a small twist. As I mention before, I am composing a song to our lords and later would like to post it on this site. Once again I admire your dedication to the teachings of Latin jazz, bless your soul.

  • Amen. Thanks. Tell me when you post it.

  • My Bad.

  • question great master pianist.. with the left.. when should you play the bass lines and when should you play the piano lines (in unison with the right) ?? im a bit confused which style to focus on.

  • well thanks first of all for your comments. i appreciate your compliments. My next line of videos have to deal a lot with bass line and right hand cordinations. They're coming. God bless...

  • Dear JC-

with the left-hand, when do you play bass-lines and when do you play piano lines? please clarify if you can.

  • to my knowledge with the left hand, you ALWAYS play bass lines. Let me know if i answered your questions

  • man, thanks for the instruction. you really break it down for the rest of us. do you have transcriptions of what you teach here? i have a problem doing the bass without reading exactly where to play it.. great work!! and keep it up! we love your videos.

  • Thanks, man.

  • thank you

  • Thank you i love the way you teach As you can tell I comment on almost all your videos. I was hoping maybe you would play un corito. Please and thnk you
