Kind of funny how Sonia Rubinsky, the 'standard' Villa-Lobos interpreter of today, plays this piece exactly as written, but Marc-Andre Hamelin chooses almost the same modifications as Villa-Lobos himself does - he takes the same repeat and adds the glissando at the end. V-L, of course, plays as if he's making it up as he goes, but that's to be expected (compare his guitar recordings). Very, very interesting and enlightening video.
