I was in USAF 1959-1963. What a fantastic video. We have a cable pgm. up here in Auburn, MA called the Route 9 Veterans Forum, I have forward your video to them in hopes it will air. Thank you so much for putting this together.
Our social studies teacher showed us this today, and the whole class was shedding tears for all who shed their blood for our freedom. Because of them, we have freedom.
So, So Beautiful!!!! My tears are shedding right now, thinking of all the loss and how much those are honored and most certainly SHOULD be honored!!! What a wonderful tribute and I hope this will restore some of the Patriotism in OUR AMERICA and what it stands for. My late husband will be so proud to see this! I just wish he could have.
One of the best presentations I have seen. I say God Bless all the Allied Veterans and their families. In some countries the Veterans do not get the recognition they have in the United States and I ashamed to say Canada is one of the countries that has a reputation of not treating their Veterans with respect and dignity. But the Canadian Veterans are begining to join together and fight the oppression and slowly case by case they are winning.
Great video we can all learn from it. After serving in the North Carolina Army National Guard From 1969 to 1975 these words have special meanning to me. God Bless America.
No one can say it all regarding those who have served.. But you have come so close.. Thank You and thank each and everyone that has protected our freedom..
I appreciate the time you took to create this moving YT post. The music score is gorgeously appropriate! I truly believe anyone will be moved (perhaps to the point of a blurry screen) by viewing this. With gratitude, Cal
Beautiful! Thank you for creating this meaninful video and most of all thank you for your service to our country, and to all others who have served and continue to serve to protect this great nation. So many sacrifices made. I salute you! God bless America!
"America's Warriors have always stepped up to the plate for our freedoms and liberties and many have paid the ultimate sacrifice and some have survived to endure worse. HONOR THEM, RESPECT THEM, LOVE THEM & NEVER FORGET THEM! I salute you all!" Sparrow Six-Five!
My daughter marches in it with the College she works at. She does it to honor her grandfathers' memory, and that of her dad and uncles. This was a beautiful video, but is only a small part of the pride you had to feel when you watched the parade. It was a fitting tribute for all who ever served our country. The government should take heed.
I can't watch shit like this without shedding at least a tear. God fucking bless everyone single member of the Armed Forces and Emergency forces. FD and PD alike all over the US, and whatever god damn branch of the military you choose to serve. OORAH!
@filmmaker1961 I'm a retired Corpsman too - No FMF though - just duty with reserve air wings mostly! God Bless our Veta and their families during these terrible times!
Thank you! for this beautiful slide show. i was fortunate to have my pic taken marching with my kids. Now me and my family have a momento of that glorious day.
Absolutely beautiful, brought me to tears. I'm honored to be born on this beautiful day and share my birthday with men and women who have commited their lives to my freedom. THANK YOU
@leeretiree Thank you for putting this together. I am a disabled Air Force Vietnam Vet. I got a little misty eyes looking at this. God bless all of our veterans from all wars for keeping these United States free.
For everyone else "If you enjoy your freedom.........thank a vet"
you did a wonderful job honoring our brave men and women. Wonderful tribute, I am going to share this Veterans Day 2011 with all my friends!

I REMOVED A COMMENT FROM THIS CHANNEL THAT I FOUND OFFENSIVE TO AMERICANS.
BUT THE PERSON WHO WROTE THE COMMENT SPEAKS IN A FREE NATION THAT WON'T GAS TO DEATH PEOPLE FOR THEIR COMMENTS.
FOR 235 YEARS AMERICA'S DEFENDERS HAVE BLED FOR FREE SPEECH.
IN THEIR HONOR I'LL RESTORE THE COMMENT:

If you substutituded the american flag for a nazi flag and looked at how people are turning into sheepeople, you might see this in a different light.
