Finally! An LP/Let's Play/Longplay/etc of this game without commentary over the cut-scenes and voice-overs. It would've been nice to hear some commentary, but I'll take a silent one over forced comedy and scene interruptions any day. I'll be sure to continue watching all the way through.
So, does this game feature the same hair-pulling puzzles as Sins of the Father? I don't know about the rest of you, but how the HELL were you supposed to figure out what to write on that tomb wall in the cemetery, short of a bleedin' walkthrough!?
@JankyToe Sierra's games are riddle with hair pulling puzzles like that. How in KQ4 are suppose to know where to find the golden bridle, and that you're suppose to let yourself be swallowed by a whale?
@Mysticgamer well, i think it's natural for an adventure gamer to have a morbid curiosity about things like that, watching the death scenes, etc. i remember my brothers and i were surprised when we survived the whale(though climbing up the tongue was a bitch!)
You know, with the advance technology today, game designers could improve the quality of these kinds of games...but alas, the point-and-click games a sadly dwindled into faint memories: only a few manage to linger around.
As for this game, I could only image what the actors and designers had to go through to complete this game. But very much kudos to them for doing this work - its a work of art that isn't appreciated enough.
@JesterMeyer I know it's sad were losing a genre of great games but, I think the fact that they are a part of the past is what makes them so great. They are a part of time that was completely different from today, when games were about being creative and going the extra mile to be great instead of just giving the fan boys what they want and giving into money. My point is keeping them as a part of an amazing past is better then watching them slowly fail in the present.
FMVs were at the time. This was one of the few kinds of games that used this. Some of the fans hated it, but me, I grew up with it...so I have learned to deeply appreciate what it has done for the 2nd Gabriel Knight story.

You can get them all on Good Old Games (GoG) for 6 dollars each (only downloads though, no boxes and all that).

Get this game if you can find it. It is very easy to run. Well maybe not on Vista. I'm not sure if I used it in xp or not, but it should be workable.

It's a very strange game.. It's more like an interactive movie. I like it tho.
