I had one of these. They taught me about an axolotl, and I never forgot it. :)

One day we were watching an animal planet show which showed one. I yelled "Thats an axolotl! It was on the Sooty show!" lol.

I wish I was that young again, when things were so much simpler and tv was way more interesting.

Does anyone remember another promo that came on at the very end of some tapes after the "Thames Video Collection" logo. I think it had Matthew explaining the other titles in the series that were available.

I saw it once on a "Learn With" video years ago but it doesn't appear on any of the three I have now(Start to Read 1+2 and Have Fun With Numbers).

I learnt alot from sooty with these learning videos i learnt more then school lol.

I still have the videos sitting around i had start to read, have fun with numbers, be safe, Down on the farm nearly all of them i think.

I miss the old stuff it was all classic

I have the Science one. Has things like 'hot and cold' and balancing in it. Also has a pretty good gag in it where they see some random lady balancing (on two feet), then they speculate she's doing a dance when really she's wiping dog poo off her shoe! Matthew was brilliant.
