Whooho Now that is the way to build a church. TOo bad the Roman catholics dont take after this and have scaled back much in the way of shrines and decoration when they build new churches. The Orthadox and Eastern Rite never lost the tradition which is great they have nice churches

Oh the Roman Church will be back. We are praying that the Bishops will start listening to the people, and thank God for the Pope's Motu propio, besides the young priests coming out of the seminaries all want to celebrate the Tridentine Mass, so it will be back soon. We are praying hard.

@ESEME11, please listen to me. Bishops will not listen to the people because they are "modernists". Modernists = Freemasons = Satanist = Jew worshipers. Please return to the TRUE FAITH before the 2nd Vatican Council. There are very few places left that still preserve the TRUE FAITH.

It is critical for your IMMORTAL SOUL and you SALVATION to seek out a Church that still upholds the TRUE CATHOLIC FAITH.

Pray that the Theotokos will lead you there. Amen.

Oh...I've been to Roman Catholic churches that are also very beautiful. They just have more stained glass, shrines and statues.

I mean they dont build them the way they used to, they are too utillitarian most of the time, though there is a return of a style in the new churches to take on the elements of the old churches such as putting the tabornacle back at the front and building the building in the shape of a cross, as well as buying old furnishings to decorate the church with, and build the altar with some kind of artistic style as opposed to just a two post granit table, with two squares of granit and a slab on top.

yeah...A lot of times it's a money issue though...A lot of churches dont have enough money to build them up all fancy...but I get what you're saying
