I don't understand why the wings need to rotate why can't u just put rotating props on a plane?

@frackcha i see your point after reading this 4 month old post i seem very foolish but the truth is i don't speak my mind well, my question was i under stand the need for the wings to rotate to be a plane it can't have vertical wings but i've seen it done before is something here different then the real v-22 osprey?

It can be described as a mixed solution between tilt-wing and tilt-rotor concepts, following the solution adopted in european convertipplane project NICE-TRIP (previously known as ERICA). Other Aerovertical's model under development are based on another concepts of the broad range of this exciting VTOL world.
