Although Khatami brought the debate of reform in Iran but he was incapable of taking remormist actions because he did not have the power and sometimes the courage; in this speech he is just preeching the audience but no reference to the achievemnts or objectives he follows in his country; he had 8 years to do this but he never dared to. That was why we lost the opportunity to transform our society as we had lost the same opportunity with the Constitutional Revolution back in early 20th century
