@FraBoes24 He did not! He co-invented it with Piet Sielck and Michael Weikath... Piet co-wrote some of the early Helloween songs, he was just never credited for it. Piet was in an early incarnation of Helloween called Second Hell. He confirmed in an interview that he co wrote some of the early Helloween stuff but gave all the credit to Kai when he left the band to move to the US. And what about Weiki's contributions to the early Helloween? Kai did not singlehandedly invent power metal... lol

@wilson2787 Piet left to become a sound engineer. But he has been back to playing music and being in a band again with Iron Savior! Surely you have heard of them? lol I can see what you're saying about Kai, I was simply saying that the roles Weiki and Piet played in creating power metal and the early Helloween sound, shouldn't be ignored. ;) The very first Helloween song "Metal Invaders" was written (or co written) by Piet, and he co wrote other songs too like "Gorgar" and "Phantoms Of Death".xD
