  • What are you talking about, that car is awsome I should know I have one, and I love it. If you don't believe me go to facebook and look up James Nelson at a Southeast Polk High School, of course mine's red and not black. I see the got all the gauges right as well, but my clock doesn't run so I can't tell you on the clock. I want to put in the tach that takes out the clock. I don't like the hood tach because; you have to cut a hole in the hood, and there isn't a light in it, so you can't see it.

  • Love the car. What kind of setup do you have on it?

  • @smoke399 Thanks! Just a cam, exhaust, and intake

  • @4wheeler14 There isn't a way in hell that motor would run over 5,500 rpm, without some work and the hood tach should it going at least 7,000. At 2:13 - 2:14 it's closer to 8,000. If the header's costed you over $700, you over paid, not that you can do anything about it. My 'Performance Years' catalog says $679.00. I've also got a cam, it sounds good =)

  • @24gordonnelson The only reason the engine revs that high is because of the upgraded cam

  • @4wheeler14 That's only helps the performance, and even if it would increase the rpm, it would be that much. You need to do work to the crankshaft and conecting rods, new bearings, ect. Other wise it would just dump out botten of the engine, or possibly the whole thing.

  • @24gordonnelson It's a video game dude, not an actual garage

  • @4wheeler14 No, really? I didn't know that.

  • @24gordonnelson Well you're arguing about what a real engine would need in order to reach such high rpms. In the game the only reason it reaches 7000 is because of the cam, there are no connecting rods or crankshafts in the game. And i don't know where you're coming up with $700 for headers...i never said anything about headers

  • @4wheeler14 If the cam did make the 1,500 rpm, tuners wouldn't suck would they? And you said exhaust, so you know, well I guess not.

  • I've got a kickass build for this car if anyone's interested. Give me time to get it though... Had to sell my 360 so my friend has the game and the data.

  • Hot damn, no assists and you still man handle that GTO around the track. Bad ass.

  • @FrenchToastSucks1 Thanks man!

  • @4wheeler14 Yeah no problem. I would like to race with you sometime. My GT is HaiThur3. Sadly I have 56k internet still. So I can't play online at my house =[. I can only play when im at friend's houses and shit.

  • @FrenchToastSucks1 Sorry man I'm not on Xbox live

  • @FrenchToastSucks1 - oh okay.

  • gto and chevelle = awesome cruisers

  • haha. Great car man. I was addicted to this game after only playing the demo. I just got it this week. My girlfriend's brother had some memory of it before, and we won that Bugatti Veyron for reaching DR lvl 30, hopped it up, and got 0-60 in 2.015s, ran the 1/4 in 9.14, and the mile in 22.4 at 238.6 mph. It was crazy man. I'm aimin for the '68 Shelby GT500KR.

  • tips on driving a big muscle around a circuit and not have it spin out in a turn? i have nothing on, just the suggested brake line (cause sometimes i forget lmao i get so into shifting)

  • @EcBuddy123 I play with all assists off. When trying to get a muscle car around a circuit, keep it in a lower gear. Something like 2nd gear. You WILL have to go slower in a classic car no matter what, but keeping it in a low gear and turning the wheels at just the right time will get you around a corner at a quicker pace. Practice makes perfect

  • @4wheeler14 yeah i play all assists off, only have the braking suggestions on, but its crazy, maybe i can try again since i havent had a muscle car on fm3 gto looks like fun, and yeah i used to drive a camaro (oldie) in fm2 and i would shift almost to 4 gear or 3 keep it there never shift lower than that so it would take longer to accelerate, but would hit high speed, is tat wat u mean?

  • @EcBuddy123 I mean as you go around a corner, you have to keep the revs up in order to get traction. This might sound odd, but you have to keep the revs up without slamming the gas. So what you want to do is accelerate quickly before the turn, then gear down so the revs stay up as you turn, and only give it a little gas during the turn. If you floor it while turning, you will lose traction.

  • @4wheeler14 but doesnt that cause damage to the engine? well i'll try that tanks for the tip, and isnt the turning and acelerating in a turn sorta the same as turning and braking which is why u lose traction?

  • @EcBuddy123 It won't damage the engine unless you go over redline. You have to practice at obtaining the right RPM and turning the wheel at the right time. Also, what I'm saying is not to accelerate quickly while turning. All I'm saying is to tap the gas ever so slightly to keep the RPM up. Accelerate hard before you turn, that way you build up speed into the turn without having to hit the gas too much while turning

  • @4wheeler14 yeah pedal lightly, ok i'll try it, sounds weird doe

  • what exaust and cams did you use? street? sport? race?

  • @gunny556fly All modifications are race. Flowmaster race exhaust and a race cam.

  • oh my god the fucking hood tach works!!! i cqnt even find a real GTO with a working hood tach!! i have to get this game.

  • buy a mustang and put flowmasters on it and supercharger

  • Check out my other videos. I have a GT500 with Flowmasters

  • great car and great sound, i love these old GTO's and i might be getting an 04' in like a week, but classic muscle is the best!! PONTIAC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Lol i agree. I have some videos of my 70 goat up. Check them out, you might like them.

  • haha niiiice i like how you can put flowmasters on in the game

  • I know. When I found that out I was like "oh yeah". Now almost every car has Flowmasters and a K&N air intake lol

  • Its not even a 68 GTO.... its like a mixture between a 68 and a 69

  • No, this IS a 68 GTO. It has the correct exterior and interior. What makes you think it's a mix?

  • Well I have a 1968 GTO. This GTO has the emblems of a 1969 GTO. The '68 didnt have the white "GTO" emblems on the front fenders... it had the triangular emblems instead. It also has the front valance of a 1969 GTO.

  • And if its suppose to be a '68 GTO then it is also missing the rocker panels that go on the rear quater panels. The '69 GTO didnt have them.

  • Ah yes. Good catch! I didn't see that. This one also has the 69 GTO parking lights. The 68's wrapped around the bottom part of the bumper while the 69's are like the ones here, square and on the front of the bumper. I have a 70 GTO and I'm a Pontiac fan so I can't believe I didn't see that. Thanks for the comments
