@Crockett1984 the Daytona Spyder was actually a re-cut Corvette which pissed off Ferrari enough to give the show their latest car design -- the Testarossa!
@Jbuonocore - first of all, TV car chases are very rarely realistic.
Also, it's not a "real" Testarossa - it's a kit car based on the Detomaso Pantera and is carrying around a lot of heavy special-effects baggage (google it)......so theoretically, a Dodge Diplomat equipped with the police-package engine and suspension and piloted by a very good driver might be an even match.

@CADEBRYANT this was a real testerossa, Ferrari loned them it so they could get rid of the Daytona replica, the other option for Ferrari was to take the show to court and it nearly came to that
Man Testarossas are so lame, corny, and cliche. They signify everything that was wrong with Ferrari in the 80s. There were so many cooler cars to have in the 80s. Lamborghini Countachs, Lotus Esprits, Ferrari 512 Boxers, Ferrari 288 GTOs, Porsche 930 Turbos.
@thatsafreakbaby I guess there not that bad. They unfortunately are not really remember much anymore. I'm a car fanatic, and even I forgot about the Testarossa. The Testarossa just seemed to a little lack luster when compared to the Daytona that they drove in the first few seasons. If you were to ask a young person about a Testarossa, I guarantee some would say a Ferrari What? I just think that the Testarossa should be more remembered then it is.
@redmr2na Yea i was always just a big testarosa fan as a kid it was my favorite ..I liked it better than the convertable ferrari in the first two seasons but your right if i polled miami vice fans on which ferrarri they liked better id bet that it would be 50/50...the convertible ferrari in the first two season was a actually a kit car it was a chevy corvette..the fast and furious cars these young kids like nowadays are just a complete joke its sad id take an 86 testerosa anyday over those cars
Stone? Wasn't he in previous episode called "Back In the World"? He was wasn't he? I can remember something about him being in the episode, anyway I WONT watch any more i stopped as soon as i realised i havent seen this one yet from my box set of ALL 5 SEASONS... it'd be a spoiler if i do.
Man, you don't see good car chases like this anymore with high-powered sports cars! This was boss, Yagamuri! :)

definetly one of the best episodes in the entire Miami Vice line up. The only one that i would say is better is the 2 hour finale
