I have studied Psychology and in fact work as a counsellor. I understand infatuation which is what you are referring to. The love I speak of is a choice that comes from grace and sacrifice. Peace brother.

Some of you should pick up a book and read about primate evolution. Monkeys and Apes are two different groups. Humans did not evolve from monkeys. Humans are considered highly evolved members of the ape group, which includes Chimpanzees, Gorillas and Orangutans.
One question that Atheists always try to avoid is the Natural Selection and Evolution defect. If human beings evolved from Monkeys , why would some of the Monkeys decide to stay as Monkeys ? Would not be better for them if they have evolved to human beings and escape being shot by hunters?

The bible shows a history of our evolution of our understand of ourselves. With that kind of history we can see long term patterns that help us understand our deeper selves. Compare the Christian bible with the Buddhist Pali Canons and you will see similarities in our evolution, even without a Buddhist God.

No. Diseases are caused by a number of things.
Bacteria
viruses
Contamination (via chemicals, radiation, etc.)
Bodily dysfunction (And yes. Stress can be one of those causes, but more likely an organ dysfunction)
Genetic disorder.
To say that it's caused by muscle stress if basically LYING.
Your lack of understanding these things should not be a point of pride. As I say this, I would also like to tell you, I don't like insulting people, but you really don't know what you're talking about.

I never met an atheist that avoided the theory of evolution. Evolution is a favorite subject of many atheists I know and know of.
And allso; No scientist claims that humans evolved from monkeys. Monkeys and humans evolved from a common ancestor. Even if it was the case that monkeys had evolved into humans parts of the monkey population could have found a niche in the environment where they could survive unchanged.

mvc1, I agree, sometimes...to be open minded one has to "not know" sometimes and other times one wants to create something they have to 'know' what they want to create. BOTH are necessary for a healthy life.

2. If God DID NOT exist, then there would be NO atheists.
3. Therefore, God MUST exists.

There is a false assumption in there, that "God" is the Creator of ANYTHING. When this assumption is investigated it is found to be false. Hence, your IDEA of what God is is based on a false assumption.
