  • It's like 'Hey Negrita' Keith n Mick. Kieth on guitar sailing with Charlie, Mick buzzing his tits of on cocaine. Billy Preston piano,Middle 8 . The its all about Ronnie n keith weavving with Billy on piano Ronnie is tearing that Guitar up! Billys loving it with Mick. Fucking amazing tune!

  • All you can say.. this has to be the most unfortunate video and unrewarding lyric in the stones canon... though between this, Slave, and Miss You you have three pretty deep grooves from this era of the band!

  • I think Billy Preston and Neal Schon had the coolest fro's in the 70s....

  • is mick jagger not allowed on tv for 8 months for singing this song? OF COURSE HE ISNT

  • Mick Jagger has been given an 8 Match ban & a £40,000 fine for racially abusing Patrice Evra

  • @syclejames But 'negrita' would be female, so it would mean something like little black bitch, so that would be wrong.

    oh wait....

  • Dont let Patrice Evra hear this Mick,

Sensitive little wimp will burst into tears...and then sue you

  • 8 match ban for this....mental!

  • Mick is the best meat for a sandwich. He can easily pleasure a woman with his...you know, and he would be the best uke ever.

  • A lot of jamming on this album and an opportunity to try out new guitarists to find a replacement for Mick Taylor. Listening to it after all these years, it strikes me how Mick Jagger's vocals are for a big part responsible for keeping it focused and attractive. He seldom sounded more powerful and raw.

  • Billy and Mick dancing at the end is classic !

  • @marlow8401 gah right billy...was posting at 1 am lol...cant believe i made that mistake still...wtf lol

  • well, they seem to be having fun i guess...

  • I love so many of the different phases of the Stones, but totally dig their funk side. This is a great example from Black and Blue. The best, in my opinion, is on my channel - I favorited a Stones clip where some guy combined two versions of "Dance" from Emotional Rescue, and I think he did a WICKED job with it. It sounds SO GOOD. So check it if you can...and check out the Rosetta West stuff too!

  • Ronnie at 1:28 is thinking WTF IS MICK WEARING AND DO I HAVE TO STAND HERE AND WATCH HIM PLAY THROUGH THIS SONG IN THAT RIDICULOUS GET-UP OR CAN WE SEND IN MY NON-EXISTANT ALTERNATE?!?!?!?! LMAO XD

  • @GothMetalhead999

    That's Bill Wyman..

  • @marlow8401 gah right billy...was posting at 1 am lol...cant believe i made that mistake still...wtf lol

  • Damn...Ronnie's guitar sounds outrageous. He's the best at that sharp sounding riff.

  • Preston was funking out on it too! Sorry that lost him a few yrs back. Just a great tune!

  • My Sweet ASS !!

  • They look like they're having fun :D

  • great song

  • IT was RONNIE WOOD joining the band that cooked this up. Black & Blue was his first full album. Black & Blue is enormously underrated and my fav Stones album!

  • @pearliepoppet It is an underrated album but NOT Ronnie's first FULL album. He only played on a few tracks. Apart from "Love You Live" 'Some Girls" was his first full album. Studio album that is. I like his playing but I think he AND The Stones were entering a different phase for the band. Some great albums were still to come. Not the '68-74' Stones but still a great band willing to try different forms of music. I love that about them.

  • isn't it odd that the Stones' two funkiest songs ("Hot

Stuff" and "Hey Negrita") are both on the same album?

  • @fanofprotopic Yes, both are on "Black and Blue".

  • @fanofprotopic What about Fingerprint File and 100 Years Ago?

  • @fanofprotopic Black and Blue is my favorite

  • @fanofprotopic and miss yooou :) its on some girls tho

  • I can't stop watching this! It's completely MESMORIZING. From Mick's sheer hotness to watching Keith and Woody jam together it's AMAZING! Digging some of these comments, too.

  • HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTT NEGRITAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA !

  • HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTT NEGRITAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA !

  • The secret hero of Stones music in the 70s- Billy Preston

  • The secret hero of the Stones in the 70s- Billy Preston

  • "look at that gay singer" you say, now remenber that he fucked more women's that you can imagine, and maybe your mom in her hot years :D

  • @VictorGuedes08 damn you told those haters

  • Nice crunchy sound. Best interplay on record between Wood and Richards and Charlie was good too. What the hell was Mick wearing (but Keith still looked cool).

  • I would love to have been alive & kickin in the 70's when the Stones released hit after hit after hit.

  • I just LOVE this tune ... still remember when I bought that LP ... I was dancing my ass offffffff ... Great Band ... Amazing Album ... love it <33333

  • RONNY WOOD AN DID.

  • The song is great anyway, but the video is also made really well and enhances the music.

  • Sexy cloth

  • That dance Jagger and Preston do at the end is so freaking smooth..

  • Stones are the best, simple like that.

  • when the black guy with the giant fro looks like he's the least stoned one in the video, thats when you know cocaine is a hell of a drug!!!

  • @chriskoob that's no "black man", that's Billy Preston! :-)

  • WTF is Mick wearing???

  • Don't know if already mentioned, but I am pretty sure this song is one of the rare ones with a nod to Woody (I think they say it was "inspired" by him. Woody says it was his, I do believe).

  • Just same as on the record, so it isn't a live version. Just a promotional for the European tour, I guess. Great anyway :-)

I think they also did another song on the same stage.

  • susan perb

  • Mick's Brian Jones hair tribute..

  • YESTERDAY IS HERE.

  • i don't really like his outfit

  • the rift i think keiths is doing is class never heard it before you can hear it slighty

  • YER ) GOT TO STILL DIG THEM - **

  • Always so different. Alway so recogniseble.

  • da qui che nascono i NEGRITA...band italiana...

  • Stones, some of the most amazing guitar interplay you'll ever hear. Best rhythm too.

  • when it comes to rock n roll there aint a band better!!!

  • Was Ronnie Wood officially in the band at this point?

  • @RandyAKing yes, HE WAS!!!

  • @RandyAKing Yes, he was. Though it was never formally announced.

  • @RandyAKing I would have to say by the time this video was made, yes, he was. The Black and Blue album has several guitar players they were auditioning during that time frame, but once it was finished, Ron was the new man.

  • song about a po boy pickin up on black hoe. the cut-out in the middle is the sex part. a good song to evade cops to, also.

  • very hot stuff

  • hell yes. true hot stuff

  • Billy Preston is having a good time 3:22

  • Woodie used that same guitar in the Faces.

  • love mick and the maracas

  • LOL wyman is like WTF are these cats on?

  • holy drugs

  • I prefer der Keefs riffs over Wood's. This is really too much funk (i.e Billie Preston) for me, but the middlesection is magical (2:40)

  • Is it live or a videoclip?

  • The Stones are their funkiest. Of course, this is a lip sync. Did Keith play on this recording? Isn't it hired professional guitarists who know how to play?

  • @TruthAxe Ron Wood (lead) and Keith Richards (rhythm) play on the original recording of "Hey Negrita". Ron Wood wrote most of the music (but wasen't given the credit) and Jagger the lyrics.

  • @TruthAxe On "Black and blue" are hired players as Harvey Mandel Lead on "Hot Stuff" - electric guit on "Memory Motel", Wayne Perkins Lead on "Hand of fate" - acoustic guit on "Memory Motel" - O/D guit on "Fool to cry", on "Hey Negrita" it's the Stones together with only Ollie Brown ( O/D percussion) and Billy Preston ( O/D piano, back up vox and O/D organ.

  • damn can't believe i havn't seen this before...RIGHT ON!!!

  • one of the best stones songs - would have fitted on beggars banquet

  • Great tone on those guitars. Like two roosters scratching in the barnyard.

  • @Birkebine

Yes, I quite agree, Birkebine - that's a very good way of describing it ! The guitars are ultra bright and scratchy. I've always thought this was a groovy song with a great raw vibe !

  • Jagger has so many stage personas: this androgynous one, the womanizer, the psycho-killer, the love lorn balladeer, etc., etc. And he does them all so well, physically and vocally. I'm not sure there's another frontman who can match him.

  • happy birthday ronnie wood

  • Mick - at his GAYest.

  • So cool and funky it might be illegal in some states (but not mine, knock wood - and I don't mean Ronnie). Mick is a great mimic of women, but still "all man".

  • amazing !!!!..great video friend,thx 4 share

  • i have got the black and blue album all nice songs i love this song

  • It's 34 years on this day that 'Black and Blue' was released.

  • They're so damn good !!!!

Oh and is it possible to be more cool ,stoned and sexy ??????

  • This is some filthy, nastay, dirtay FUNK right here... I'm lovin' it

  • Sexy Mick.

  • i dont know where mick got that shirt but i bet it wasnt in the mens department

  • @kel720 the chiquita banana lady is looking for her shirt

  • @kel720 HaHaHaHa!! Best you tube comment i have read this year so far.....

  • @kel720 Ha ha ha. It could be true.

  • elvis on bass, cool ...

  • @tonycree..

Looks more like Count Dracula on bass.

  • They couldn't find anything to say about Negrita than to "shake her tan hide"... how retarded. lol

  • Words are over rated... They found out more about Negrita than you will ever even imagine..

Now do something about your pathetic self.

  • best band ever STONES

    beatles are RUBBISH

  • classic band . . .i'd say there the best ever band.

  • what about beatles, ?

  • Best band ever, bar none!

  • I said" hey negrita they say your love is sweeter"....and so on!!!

  • GRANDIOSE REGIS NEBBAK

  • black &blue is i reckon thr best AB , . REALLY wht ever th genre ,if its good its undenibly good

  • how are they so brilliant? they so varied as well

  • This version is better than the album because it jams out. Look there's Billy Preston. Mick must be playing "Negrita" the show girl. This is from the album 'Black & Blue'.

  • @Exiles800 This is the version from the album.

  • Damn that's some good funk!

  • So tight they were bouncing off the walls. Encapulates the bond between rock and funk.

  • Maybe my favorite song by the stones (and I love them all). Very acidulated, like a lemon juice, perfect !

  • i prefer this to the album version

  • hehehe, he touched is ass xD DAMN MICK. youre so fuckin sexy !!!!

  • the coolest band ever or is jay z cooler? nah only jokin'

  • @73mandala lol <3 Jay-Z is... fuckin shit ?

  • @StubberRubber bland... imo

  • in 1977 my mum got upset with mick and billy dancing - - turned the telly off! - i had my tranny under the pillow tho!!

  • For his contribution Ron Wood received an "inspiration by" credit on the final album he said "I had this particular reggae riff that I took into the studio and the others said, What are we going to start with? and I said, I've got this song. Charlie on drums so he was already into it and then Keith and Mick both got into the motion of it. That was 'Hey Negrita', which came together very easily. If you've got the rhythm, you're lucky! Let Mick write the words and then you're in with a chance."

  • Sexy Song !!!

  • Amazing song!!!!!

  • Funky Funky Funky. Bonus points for Billy Preston. Loses points because Bill Wyman looks like my first grade teacher, Mrs. Underwood. :)

  • Aaaaah!!! Quand je pense que y en a qui passent à côté de ça en écoutant leur merde de rap qu'ils osent nommer "musique"... Une chanson géniale!!! The Rolling Stones, les meilleurs!!!

  • T'as bien raison

  • great song

  • this song is about 2 garden snails drinking French champagne, and snorting cocaine

  • 10 Apperence , looking like you just got dragged from the street > Matching suits. How many bands these days look like Beatles - 0 STONES - THOUSANDS OF BANDS

  • Hell yeah-beatles are overrated-The stones look is the look of rock!

  • 9. Paul McCartney - The Frog Chorus , Mick Jagger - She`s The Boss.

Both bad yes but if forced at gunpoint I know what i`m going to choose.

  • 8. Charlie Watts would never lower himself to doing Thomas The Tank Engine voiceovers.

  • 7. The Beatles stopped touring because they couldn`t hack it , Keith Richards played an entire gig at gunpoint.

  • 6. Stones - The 70s , Exile On Main Street, Sticky Fingers, It`s Only Rock n Roll

Beatles - The 70s , Wings , Yoko Ono`s songwriting & Ringo Starr solo albums *shudder*

  • 5. The Beatles had to have their faces on album covers , The Stones could stick a picture of a toilet on theirs & still have it sell millions.

  • 4. Songs about sex , drugs , deprevation , heartache , rejection , revenge & decadence are better than kiddie love songs & mystical bollocks.

Beatles - Wrote chart friendly pop songs & ballads. Stones wrote gritty hard rock songs

  • 3. Yoko Ono or Marianne Faithful ,back in the 60s who would you rather have been seen on the arm with ?

  • 2. Mick Jagger , greatest frontman of all time

  • 1. Keith Richards , coolest guitarist on the planet

  • hes a homosexual beatlesLESS fan using so many different accounts the PEDO soitblows2058 men, gettygirly1 and 3, coxycocks, prestoncockmuncher hes all alone sitting in his faggot world isnt he a bit like elvis 316 nowhere FAG

  • soitblows2058 is the faggot elvis316

  • lol title reads hey niger

  • For the fool who thinks mick only plays percussion, he is one of the best harmonica players around, much better than any of the beatles and plays keyboards and guitar. So you fools better get the info right before you make ignorant comments. Also Lennon was a fruit and allegedly did brian epstein and recounts the incident in I am the walrus.

  • Before I make any more ignorant comments, let me check my facts with you. You say mick is more talented than any/all of the beatles--or just a more talented harmonica player?

    Interesting. Either way.

  • and i wasn't the person who brought up the beatles on a stones video page, FYI. leave that to steveconn.

  • harp1925 - XD Seriously, dude? I mean, I love both Mick Jagger AND John Lennon (the Stones and the Beatles being my two favourite bands)...but you're calling John Lennon a poof? I know about the "alleged" accounts...but come ON, dude...Mick's the campy one! XD Even if John WAS bi or gay, he kept it to himself. Mick...not so much. Why don't we go ask David Bowie about it? :P

Marianne Faithfull believes Mick is bi. And Keith Richards has even stated he doesn't think Mick is straight. lol

  • john lennon wrote the lyrical account of his encounters. angela bowie recanted her statement about mick and bowie. Just compare lennons choice of yoko, vs the women mick had, but I listen to the great stones music. Micks campy act has made him the greatest frontman ever, but he is the one who really knows what he is. STones rule!!!

  • harp1925 - What would the lyrical account of his encounters be, exactly?

Dude, the only "evidence" of John being bi or gay is through lyrics that can be interpreted into anything, and claims that can be neither proven or disproven, considering the only people involved are now dead. And what about the song, "Angie?" Who is that REALLY about?

He obviously loved Yoko for her personality. Who cares if she wasn't some hot model? He still loved her, which shows he's just a really good guy.(cont.)

  • (...cont) Mick has had so many claims that he's bi or gay...and he won't say they're not true! That's ALL he has to say. But he won't.

Have you ever READ Marianne Faithfull's autobiography? Did you SEE what he said about Keith? Did you read that interview with Keith about his statements on the subject? Obviously not. In the case of Angie Bowie, David sued her. (cont.)

  • (...cont) David jumped at the opportunity to sue her for even more, because he disliked her so much. Mick wouldn't even make a statement. Haha...AND he's got his own production company that produces "chick flicks."

And this is only the stuff I remember. Imagine what more I could find if I looked into it. :P

  • watch rock n roll circus-lennon looks like he wants to do mick right there. I am the walrus-girl you been a naughty boy you let your knickers down-is about the brian epstein incident. But I could really give a shit less-the stones rock-the beatles I really do not care what they did-not into teenybopper love songs-to happy for my tastes.

  • Actually the lyric is "Man, you been a naughty boy, you let your face grow long" and later. "Boy, you've been a naughty girl you let your knickers down". Just because you regularly take it up the ass does not mean Lennon did. BTW Jagger is a horrible harp player.

  • soitgoes, Just because lennon was a fruit, don't be offended by the truth, you can still fantasize about doin him. I read about his weirdness, so I am just passin along what I read. BTW jagger is a fantastic harp player, if you think otherwise you must be biased.

  • You must be thinking of the flesh harmonica which I would agree he is a master of. He is much better with the maracas or triangle.

  • Ha Ha Ha what a comedian, but if you think mick can't play harmonica listen to midnight rambler, love is strong, or back of my hand, mick plays slide guitar on the last one. Maybe you will learn something.

  • Hey harpo, if you want to hear the harp played well, why don't you listen to Paul Butterfield. If you want to hear slide guitar listed to Duane Allman. I bet you will learn a bit more.

  • harp1925 - I own that DVD, and I've seen it a million times...and John doesn't really look anything but stoned and tired. o_O All of them pretty much look like that. Except at the end when they're doing "Salt of the Earth" and Mick happily latches onto Keith's knee...THAT'S epic. Especially Keef's expression...lol.

Dude...you're just one person! Your opinion versus millions? And you don't exactly have any supporting evidence for your opinions...so...why are we even arguing?

  • xrock-I am just stating what I have read about john lennon-he was no saint and a strange dude with some weird tendencies-everything I have commented on has been written-you think I pulled it out of the blue-read some old reports and you will find the stories of him and epstein and the mick crush-sorry to burst your idols bubble-but the truth is the truth.

  • If its in a book it must be true. I mean how stupid are you??

  • harp1925 - Bursting my bubble? Nah, man, gay (and especially bi) men are hot, in my opinion. ;D

I know everything has been written down somewhere. I don't think you pulled it out of nowhere.

BUT, forms of celebrity tabloids and gossip have always existed. Keep that in mind.

I know about him and Epstein. I believe that, since I heard it off an official BBC documentary. But that doesn't make him gay. If anything, I'd say he's more along the lines of bi-curious. (cont...)

  • (...cont)

harp1925 - I'm cool with it if he was. But I still highly doubt it. There's just not enough evidence for it.

So what if he had a crush on Mick? Everyone's had a crush on Mick, it seems...lol. Who can resist? I even have straight guy-friends who admit he was really hot.

  • I really don't care about lennon's bi affairs, but when I see people rippn on Mick, I have to point out the flaws in Lennon;s background.

  • harp1925 - I understand that, but you don't have to rag on John. You're simply stooping to the same level as those who insult Mick.

Who cares what someone's sexual orientation is, anyway? It's no way to judge them.

Why don't you look at BOTH John Lennon's AND Mick Jagger's accomplishments in life? You'll find that they've both achieved things that deserve a hell of alot more than just respect. So why don't you show some instead of acting like you know everything about their personal lives?

  • Is there a vagina in Mick's pants?

  • yeah, video quality leaves alot to be desired. great tune though, and a ron wood original to boot. but you're right, the vid was probably cut from the same concert where the 'hot stuff' vid was recorded. and, the stones, well, at least mick, have
