You don't need to gasp for breath, your diaphram fills up naturally with air. I think you should also try not to sing through your nose. This is the best cover I've seen of someone singing a Jessie J song. She's one of the hardest people to cover, well atleast I think so, because her vocals are SO STRONG. But I think Amy did a great job it actually sounds just as good if not close to Jessie J's vocals!
