  • wow would like to see how chinese jian fights against doce pares. the filipino fighter is ok but the doce pares style uses rapid combos that would have the jian on the run. Also when things get serious the stick is replaced with the bolo so escrima will b on the same level as the jian.

  • its a crap..

  • totally fake! the guy who is doing kali is not even doing real kali. he might not even be a filipino. For the guy who posted this to discredit our art, come here and meet real FMA fighters to see the real stuff. what you posted here is all trash.

  • Eso parecen solo garrotazos

  • i dont get why these dumb brownies are trolling

  • Can any one watch this and this and think it has any martial value to it?

  • totally bogus since fma has a delivery system /system of breaking down the art to teach and subsequent progression to gain fighting experience plus is used by the military throughout the world. hahah, don't see many taoist swords nor schools teaching how to use those fancy movements

  • Dang mad spelling errors sry guys I meant bodhidarma. And I'm sure every martial art has it's strengths and weaknesses. Don't get too cocky and closed minded.

  • Oops meant to comment not flag. Anyway guys digelectron or whatever not all martial arts originated in china. Even Chinese shaolin gongfu originated from bidhidarma who was indian. To random numbers guy fma isn't exactly the one greatest martial art. It excels in cqc which is more prevalent today than long rang sword fights.

  • does anyone notice that the kali sword is shorter than the wudang jian? of course the chinese guy would an advantage. his weapons larger. give the filipino guy a fairly long sword and i bet hell be just as formidable as the wudang guy

  • @pochazet but filipino have speed...

  • It's impossible to have a serious bout with such flexible weapons- they don't work anything like real weapons.

  • How can this be even vaguely considered like a "real" fight when they are using such light foam toy like swords? There's no wu de in such as encounter.

  • The concept in Arnis, Kali and Eskrima is to hit your enemy fast and injurious at the first fight like a speed of lightning not to wait for the "Go" sign and be a star defending yourself, FMA refers to ancient martial art spirit that needs to be used properly in the modern practice, but you dont have to ask about the ancient FMA, HuH, Maybe it could lead Wudang to extinction...

  • martial art efficiency depending of the praticer. training is all.

  • philippine martial arts is being use in diffrent countrys military now!!! coz its much more deadly and useful rather than any martial arts

  • @09092214584 er no. Wushu is still being the most deadly. It's just that people cannot endure long trainings of 10 over years just to master one skill.

  • @qiankundanuoyi1 wushu in da philippines are not that famous... wushu? its questionable thing martial arts...i prefer to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu not wushu...

  • @09092214584 Chinese matrial art has thousands years of history and is deeply in the Chinese culture. It's not just a fighting technique but a form of art. All martial arts are originated in China.

  • @dilegentelectron how many percent that all martial arts are originated n china? can you give me a credible strong proofs? if not you better shut yur mouth ther alrite...

you dont know anything about martial arts brother

  • @09092214584 google.

  • @dilegentelectron wahaha make yurself fool

  • @dilegentelectron dont you know that your great bruce lee come to da philippines and learn our martial arts KALI ESCRIMA..?????go search it and you will know it

  • @09092214584 what r u fucking kidding me?

  • @dilegentelectron sorry but im not kiddin. have a research about it.oky.... kali escrima ben use whole world in military

  • @dilegentelectron

dude martial arts originated in INDIA not China, Budhidarma or Budiharma guy who is an indian went to china and taught monks there what you call shaolin kung fu, the oldest existing martial art today is kalaripayatu and it's from INDIA, FMA or Filipino Martial arts is recognized as the most effective and practical martial arts today, do a research dude, flashy moves simply are useless in real combat

  • @arnoldarceo ur kidding . we have written document that shows the existence of martial rt in China in Shang dynasty which was around 3500 years ago .. 3500 years ago .. don't know where the philipino and indian were.

  • @dilegentelectron Mister, do your research, It is already agreed upon that Kalaripayatu (an indian Martial art) is the oldest, your documents might be right Chinese martial arts is 3,500 years old, but kalari is older. In fact it is the basis of chinese martial arts. by the way, old does not mean it is effective. Filipino arts are ofcourse are not as old, but they are the deadliest in the world.

  • Respond to this video... i know it's hard to believe that what you have been learning for so long is nothing but flashy moves and outdated techniques. if you can't believe in that, then that's your problem

  • @arnoldarceo where were u people 5000 years ago?

  • @dilegentelectron (first of all your grammar is wrong, second your reply is a proof that you have nothing to say which is substantial) dont ask me if i were, it seems that you cannot really accept that what you know is wrong all this time. too bad for you. i will not answer to any of your non-sense. sorry to tell you that you are totally oblivious about the real history of martial arts.

  • @arnoldarceo Show me your proof then. I'm saying that we have written document indicating the practice of martial art in Shang and Zhou dynasty which was about 4000 years ago. What do you have to prove your point? You are the one who does not have anything to say,

  • @dilegentelectron - tell you what, kalaripayattu has been around since the 12th century, it is the basis of chinese martial arts (kalaripayattu by the way is an indian martial art) google it. Another point, the information you give is not even consistent.a document is not enough.

  • @arnoldarceo on the other hand if you honestly believe that all of china, Vietnam, japan and korea were just waiting around for enlightenment by an indian martial arts master then, well, i dont even know what then. martial arts are more than capable of being developed without outside influence. please see- kalaripayattu (actually suspected greek origins), koppo (native japanese art, -pre chinese influence), as well as the native arts of hawaii and north america.

  • @icedrake1313 if ever your martial arts is the oldest it's not a big deal here. but again some arts are older. the issue here is the effectiveness of our art. this video is a clear insult to all real arnis or escrima fighters around the world.

  • @icedrake1313 it is never right to use another martial art as a practice dummy to show how glorious and how effective your wudang is. simple arguement is that this is what we call black propaganda against Filipino martial arts. With all due respect, this video is a piece of crap.

  • @arnoldarceo personally, i am not against letting various style fight against each other. today, most of martial artiest practice with the imaginary opponent or dummy. through fight, it is only way to know their strength and weakness.

ps. in this video, the wudang swordman lost the fight. he fought too defensive. i believe the real warrior should not be afraid to take the hit. the real martial art should be able to take the criticism.

  • in terms of effectiveness ARNIS might not be as old but it sure is way better and effective in a real fight, that's why Bruce Lee copied our system and included it in Jeet kune do, beat that a chinese copying techniques from a filipino art

  • @arnoldarceo ok, so all philipino arts? I'm not saying that all philipino arts are direct copies, but there are none that have no Chinese influences in their foundations. really. when people get up in arms about something having a Chinese influence its kind of laughable because saying Chinese is like saying European. Chinese influence covers a huge area, over multiple cultures and dynasties. what we consider "china" touched all of asia in some way so its not a big deal.

  • @icedrake1313 none of our arts are copies, you are right maybe some are influenced that is very possible. do you know arnis or escrima? have you trained in any of our art?

  • @arnoldarceo I am a Filipino and Arnis is very common here in our place, most of the people here knows arnis, but i am luckily to have a Taoist Chinese Kok Sut Martial Art Instructor and he teaches me Kiam Sut (Jian Shu) and for years of practice, i found out that CHINESE SWORD will defeat FILIPINO ARNIS for a thousands of reasons....

  • @SupremeLutosA kindly name some sir

  • GOOGLE the information and you'll get it, archeologists found it for you

  • @dilegentelectron the proof is on the shaolin temple wall if you are a hardcore purist. there is quite clearly an indian monk teaching Chinese students in the famous painting. even the commonly accepted oral origins state that the monks were found to be lax by the visiting Bodhidharma, and so he taught them excersices from his homeland (india) the twenty seven original sets became the foundation for shaolin, and going further, the rest of china.

  • @icedrake1313 here you are correct.

  • philippine martial arts is one of the DEADLIEST MARTIAL ARTS and this video shows fake

  • Comment removed

  • hahaha! nice try on making the FMA look bad! get some "REAL" escrimador!!

  • Dude I need some back up on the part 2 of this vid.

  • Hey dude the guy on the black was filipino using the black wood i saw in the website....

  • Nope. That's not authentic escrima. Filipinos don't fight like that. Your "Filipino" guy should do some research on using the live hand. Sorry. Nice effort to discredit the FMA though. Come to the Philippines to see the real deal. I'd be happy to be your host. Contact me.

  • hmm you make a lot of sense but don't underestimate the wu dang sword

  • As a rule, I never underestimate anybody. I have long been a fan of Chinese martial arts & I cross-train in several styles - Filipino, Indonesian, Thai, Brazilian, Japanese and Chinese. In fact, Chua Li Fut was the 1st martial art I ever learned. But, sorry to say, the "Filipino" guy they used in the vid fights like he doesn't know squat! There's a range where escrima is most effective and the guy's range just ain't it. But I respect all the arts! In doing so, I lay them all on level ground.

  • Excellent come back. Not many are as respectful as you.

  • I cosign: I agree with you 100% this guy is not representing authentic FMA. This guy is obviously an amateur. I study both Filipino and Chinese martial arts and this is a very poor demonstration of skills on both arts. Filipino martial arts are among the most practical and deadly arts in the world bar none and the guys in this demonstration sucks and the wudang sword representative is not showing real wudang skills. All original authentic martial arts skills are equal in merit and effectiveness.

  • In the world of martial arts, where trash talk, politicing and useless posturing for top honors is the norm, it is very refreshing to meet someone with an unbiased view and a subjective opinion. Glad to know you, brother.

  • Whoops! I meant to say "objective", not "subjective." Sorry : )

  • genial
