  • Thanks alot im starting to play in our band in church and this helped me alot thanks again

  • @jayhawk159 That's great! Good luck and keep praising the Lord!

  • Can u plz show the strum pattern

  • @dragonfighter61 It's all about timing...not just the strumming pattern. Have you watched any of my videos on strumming? Type in Matt McCoy strumming and hopefully that can help ya out some.

  • I am 12, and I am gonna do one of these songs :3 My guitar teacher said "pick a song, you wanna learn..and I will teach you it so you can sing and play in front of your mom." and I said "okay" I was thinking about doing another Hard song, but then I thought to myself I should just do something simple. like one of these songs :] thanks for the video! For a beginner I picked a hard song I picked Hey there Delilah, this is going on my 2nd song :3 Guitar is VERY fun, I luv it<3

  • hey man...great videos...but just have to say your recorded sound is not that great...could you get a mike or clip on...would really appreciate it...otherwise ...great great great

  • @jetsonjoe I agree...are there any clip on mics you recommend? I would like to increase the volume for sure

  • hey thanks alot you have enabled me to learn these 3 great songs str8 away.

  • @MRDCSIMPSON that's great! Glad i could help

  • hey is it ok, if u take ur pinky off the 6th string and play like that for a G chord...and well i guess for C and Em to?....i don't think it changes the sound much...but idk it feels weird lol

  • love how your dog is trying to sing with you at the end...hehehe

  • @showme87 that little one is always trying to join in...you have no idea how many videos i make and at the end she goes crazy so i have to redo them. haha we're crazy about her though

  • can you explain the c chord... i thought the fingering was different like the first finger on the b string first fret and the second finger on the d string 2nd fret and the third finger on the A string third fret.... isit the same thing or is one of those minor or major?

  • @25823666 i play my C chord just like the G only i move the top 2 fingers down a string each. This really helps beginners make that change faster. (it's truthfully a Cadd9 chord but sounds very similar) Click on the link that pops up at the 45 second mark to get a closeup of how i play the 4 chords. Hope this helps! good luck!

  • @acousticselection Thanks a lot man! You just made 'C' much simpler for me :) You're the first channel I subscribed to. I'm really a beginner and trying to learn a few worship songs to lead a prayer group I attend. Do you have the simple tutorial of How Great is Our God? Oh and thanks for the strumming detail as well. I needed that. God bless you bro!

  • what is the strumming for Blessed Be The Name Of The Lord? and Oh Come And Mourn With Me Awhile would be greatly appreciated. there arent any covers or lessons on youtube!

  • I would like to see I saw the light if you could do a tutorial

  • :-) nice

  • @Jammin4Jesus13 Thanks!

  • u r AWESOME! thanks bud!

  • hi ive been playing for almost a year now and ur videos are great!, i just wana see u play a more intermident song not advanced!! lol like song with bar chords those kinds. am still learning and wud love to worship better thru my guitar:)

  • @acousticdude101ify Csn you play bar chords? I have a few more advanced songs on the page. Maybe songs like "you love me anyways" would be a good one for you to start learning bar chords on if you can't play them already. Good luck, thanks for the comments!

  • thanks very much this really helps :)

  • whats the strumming pattern for the last song????

  • @animeanime99 Its 2 beats per chord and I'm simply playing, D,D, DUDU switch. Remember, strumming is all about timing and preparing for that next chord change

  • its so hard to play it for me im just 11///

  • Awesome! Thanks for sharing!!!

  • u are great.....and amazing .....man.....
