The PCB board seems to have the hardware for all 8 zones. Did you find out whether you can just wire in connectors to increase the number of available zones?
@FrenchRome I think that could happen, but then I need to solder on the zone LED's, and I'm useless at soldering! Everything else seems to be there though apart from the connectors!
@lcassell94 Prompt reply, thanks! I'll have to see if the LEDs are there on mine. It looked to me that only the connectors were missing, in which case what a scam. Stupid marketing really, if this is a fully equipped 8 zone panel (eprom & hardware) then they'd corner the market by selling it at the 2 zone price. I was hoping someone with a 'spare' panel could investigate whether adding the connector blocks gave you 8 zones.
@FrenchRome I've always wondered that. Yet again, wouldn't the panel be displaying a general fault because there are no EOL's on the zones? Any way, I've been wanting to replace my buzzer with a peizo for ages...it makes such an awful sound!
the stop start sounders is evacuate, this panel is manufactured by zeta but this perticular panel is a rebrand, i know its evacuate because cuz i have the simplicity micro when you press stop/start sounders on that **EVACUATE** comes up on the screen the fire led lights up but no zone led ;)

@MegaCallum98 no. A burglar alarm cercuits are normally closed were as fire alarms cercuits are normally open. So you would need special fire detectors for a burglar alarm panel
