Fable 1 disappointment? Well Fable: the Lost Chapters I most say is the greatest RPG for its time. I've played through many times. I don't know what Molyneux was thinking when he made fable 2 and 3... I don't think fable 4 will save the series. Fable: the Journey will make it go dead.

Fable 2 - For me? Too easy, but some interesting things was used in that game. Fable 2 was just a repeat, a mirror image of Fable 1, but in new cloak. Humor is still on high-enough level, interaction with the world was much better than in 1st game (but for me - not enough at all - main character who completely don't talk? Just emotes? Naaah). Plot was still on children-story level, but still entertaining. IMHO, of course.

And Fable 3? *sigh* - Shouldn't be call Fable.

For me:

Fable 1 - Awesome characters (Jack of Blades rocks! Maze was pretty good. Twin Blades - another badass villian), really enjoyable plot (yes, naive - "Oh, bandits kill my family, nooo! I'll grow up, become hero and take a revenge!", but... it was supposed to be naive. That was FABLE - a fairy tale. Half-dark fairy tale. But still enjoyable). And when Fable 1 was released, it was something new. New in good way. And I also like fable's humor - it's pretty funny.

Everything is too elaborate. It's like a game for kids with mature themes. It doesn't mesh well with me. That being said all my friends play the series. It's just me. They grew up on consoles and I grew up on PC. Different gaming scene.

6. The only thing that matters in your gear is the weapon. Yepp the armor doesnt reduce damage at ALL.

7. That freakin endless golden turd( why couldnt they have just created an arrow at the map, is this a fantasy rpg or a freakin fairy tale?!

8. You have to donate to that godforsaken temple of light at a precise time of the day to be appreciated.

9. Barely any magics compared to the first Fable.

Fable: TLC has fable two beaten in everything other than graphics, and you can blow threw fable two in less than 4 hours if you just do the main quests, just as fable 1. Do every quest and the game lasts for like 20-30 hours
