@technologynine This is a very interesting project. Please tell me more about the unit of learning. I was in Uganda in the summer and taught the students there about computers. They picked it up very quickly. I was so surprised as they had never seen a laptop computer before and had never experienced anything digital. I have just watched 'Building Schools- Building Dreams' and enjoyed it a lot. The children are so lucky to have the opportunity to learn how to create their own school! I will watch it with my students in our next lesson.
We now have samll groups of students creating 'stand alone' lessons in various subjects. Among the topics: Chemistry-Acids and Alakalines, Biology- Ice & Water Animals, Mathematics - Algebra (Fomulae), Biology - The Digestive System, Transport in London and a few cooking lessons (mainly traditional cooking of different countries). That was wonderful I really enjoyed it I'm really starting to see how blessed I am and there are so many things Americans take for granted Africa is where I really want to go and help millions and billions of women children and families there and do Humanitarian work and I can't wait to adopt from there when I'm old enough.I love Africa may God bless the children of Africa!!!
