I know, many of you consider this a classic and one of the greatest trance tunes of all time, but in my humble opinion, it's pretty dull. Though I love both oldskool (1990-1999) and newskool (2000-) "trance", this track doesn't stand out so much. It's kinda repetitive (the bad way), both in melody and overall progression. Also, the atmosphere is kinda the same as the album cover: morning over a medium-size city somewhere in Americas, pretty exciting, huh.

@CHRISNSHELLZ The BPM is wrong on this...probably to make it fit in 10 mins. This sounds like 136-138. Xpander is actually very slow...like 128-130. So is the EP generally... except Baha which is either very slow or very fast depending on how you count.

If i say it right, this is shifted to 135 bpm..original was 128...I suppose you do it to remember the edited wip3out version of 4:07 mins that was too at 135 bpm (I don't know the reason why...i think they do it to improve the energy to this track to keep the player to the game's rail of adrenaline line...may it be..??)...otherwise original 128 bpm version is the best...this one is too fast in my opinion,but not bad at all...however it remains great.legendary.

@xsquid99 Agree 100% Slower and groovier is always better. Not a fan of the trancers like Paul Van Dyk when they tend to play music at 140 BPM's. Maybe they don't anymore. :-D A lot (not all) music sounds too forced at that tempo.

Ur probably right mate, altho I think fading the track out after 10 mins & keeping it at the 'originally intended' bpm wouldve been far better than speeding it up. If the video limit was only 8 minutes wouldve it made sense to pitch it up even more? no, that's my point - sasha made it that speed for a reason so why mess with it. I think the people who've negatived my comment should listen to less hard house & learn to recognise when a track sounds wrong cos its being played at the wrong speed :P

This remains one of the freshest trance tracks you will ever hear. The themes are simple but it sounds so complex. It is one of the few truly timeless trance tracks. When thi came out in '99 it was like an alien must have beamed it down, there was just nothing to compare it to.
