  • If you believe the bible is true.

Homosexuality is sin. It is amazing how people try to justify this behavior. In reality, it does not make sense for two men to marry. It is understandable for a man and women to marry to procreate but not two men.

Deep down - Homosexuals know it is not right. No matter how many laws are passed or famous Hollywood icons approve it. The bible says this sin will not be accepted.

God will not tolerate sin and as a nation will be judged.

  • I'm trying to understand your points, however your argument befuddles me, especially about where Christians don't agree with the homosexual lifestyle that we hate the sin, but not the sinner, your saying this doesn;t make sense. The meaning is we love the person, but don't approve of the behavior. This is like a parent and child relationship. Your kid does something wrong and they are corrected/discplined. As parents we are dissapointed of the actions of our child, however we still love them.

  • great vid... thanks for talking about dear Mrs. Monica and her hateful teachings.

  • thanks moose

  • Hello Johnson

    You mis-quoted me

I did not say that Monica's words were inflamatory. I said that some may see them as inflamatory because it attacks the things that they like to do.

Things just got a bit busy, but I'll try to get back to responding in detail in the next few weeks after I review all the videos again.

  • No, I did not really misquote you, I specifically said that your comment was that we have animosity towards her BECAUSE she is attacking our beliefs. I addressed what you said. Also, in your video, you referred more to Monica attacking beliefs rather than activities. Regardless of what was intended, it was generally addressed unless you are totally missing the point.

  • excuse me, but if you go back and listen to my exact words, you will find that your statement is in error as you said "I said her comments were inflamatory" and that was wrong

    see earlier comment

opinion vs belief - I did not really consider my opinion w/respect to my belief in God's Word, but I will capitulate to your definition. If my opinion is in line with the Word of God, you best accept it. If it does not line up with the Bible, ignore it. Perhaps that is better worded than her comment.

  • My statement sounds in error if you did not listen to the entire statement; stopping at the pause. However, a bible is an opinion. It's an opinion on the definition of god. Beliefs are opinions. It's in the very definition of the word. You've chosen what opinions you accept. Some have different opinions on the "word of God", or whether there is one. I won't be frightened by threats into believing your "word of god" is more correct than anyone else's "word of god". Keep your aggression in check.

  • The "best" thing for me to do is to live an honest and good life. Your threats are what is called "Pascal's Wager". I not dumb enough to be bullied into believing anything that relies on that sort of logic.

Firstly because that is not a true belief.

  • If a person is uncertain whether a particular religion is true and the god of that religion is real, but that person still "believes" in them because of the expectation of a reward and the fear of punishment, then that belief is not a true valid belief or a true faith in that religion and its god... and secondly...

"The Atheist's Wager" makes better sense

  • It states:

"You should live your life and try to make the world a better place for your being in it, whether or not you believe in God. If there is no God, you have lost nothing and will be remembered fondly by those you left behind. If there is a benevolent God, he may judge you on your merits coupled with your commitments, and not just on whether or not you believed in him."

  • and my addition to this would be that since no religion can agree on the word of god, and that since there are even disagreements within religions such as Islam and Christianity, that if there is a god, your choices will be judged based on your PERSONAL beliefs and choices anyway, and not those you accepted from a book, priest, or pastor.

  • But Paul wrote that all my righteousness is as filthy rags and we see in Genesis by Cain and Able that God only accepts 1 particular sacrifice (the one He provides) If you read and believe the Bible, you will have to recognize that God is not a what if God. Receiving that, you could then move on to fellowship with Him in line with His Word. If you do not receive the Word, you have no life.

    paraphrase of John 6:53 - 63

?? Do you believe Jesus rose again ?? it is all that matters

  • I believe the legend of Jesus is a cheap and uncreative rewrite of the legends of Horus, Mithra, and Dionysus, which most Christians are completely ignorant of. Your religion's creation of Jesus is almost entirely a copy of older religions. You don't even know what you believe in. I think, and I'm no biblical scholar, that Paul never even mentions the actual LIFE of Jesus (only his death), even though he supposedly lived shortly thereafter... and speaks of the resurrection in a mythical sense

  • If you consider yourself to be well read and truly want to study the bible, you should study the founding story of Christianity, and how the religion first came into existence and spread. You should also study what happened (in detail) during Jesus' youth and teenage years? Did he ever have a girlfriend? - We know he spent a lot of time with whores... Did they ever give him treats...? or was a lack of manly desires another of Jesus' powers? Or perhaps Jesus was like so many Catholic priests...?

  • Johnson,

Is this really your writing or are you just clipping unbelief statements out of some borrowed manifesto from satan ?

  • If it weren't my writing you would quickly be able to discover it by copying and pasting it into Google. However, when I have quoted something, I have put it in quotes... such as I did with the Atheist's Wager.

  • Also, a belief in Beelzebub, Azreal, Lucifer, Mephistopheles, The Dark Lord, Satan, Father of Lies, Tempter, Wicked One, King of Tyrus, and Son of Perdition - are all similarly beliefs in a tale of silliness. It's the same as if I were to tell you that the world will be saved by a Level 20 Paladin-Mage who has fought red dragons and dark elves. I know how your bible ends... Snape kills Dumbledore.

  • played dnd alot 25 years ago before I got saved. I never did see a paladin-mage combo and we just called the dark elves drow. :->

since this is truly your belief, I guess we are done on this thread

    cheers

    Donny
