GOD DAMN I CAN`T FIND THIS DAMN SONG ! maybe someone can help. It´s a song that comes when you play in desert regions and it begins with this.....(I can´t explain) it´s a slower song in the begining ant it begins with this "boing" XD maybe you understand or just tell me whats song are played in desert maps.... :) thanks
dude ive been trying to find that song as well, i know exactly what your talking about its a more relaxed melody and plays sometimes when u play as any three middle eastern empires. lemme know if u find out what it is, thanks
I've been looking for that song for like 2 days. I thought maybe it was in TW1 and searched those vids, and I couldn't find it there either. These other songs are cool, but the one I really want isn't anywhere. :(
Are you joking me? The Chinese literally ADAPTED their musical instruments from Persians and Arabs. And the Greeks didn't even exist when the Iraqi Babylonians were masters with the musical instruments which THEY have created.
The Middle East is just awesome, makes Europe and East-Asia want to cry.
@Kra7as The days of glory of the middle east ended a long time ago. Greeks and romans conquered it and imposed their more advanced cultures. Then the arabs came, and they ruined it all. Modern culture is derived from the peoples of the west, Europe, not the peoples of the middle east.
@1999521 Bahahahahaha that's a joke. I'm sorry, who invented Algebra? Blood Transfusions? Real working Hydraulics? The basis for modern Physics? Literally everything that the Romans didn't even bother to touch on? That's right, the Hindus, Arabs, and Chinese. While you people were still drilling holes in each others' heads, the Arabs were creating one of the greatest civilizations in human history. Learn to give credit where credit is due.
This isn't middle-eastern, this is a Mediteranean soundtrack. Song of Toomba it's called. I think because of the moorish invasian in Spain they made this song.
"spanish" music is andulusian music and the andalusians were a middle eastern/north african/mediterranean culture situated on the southern part of the iberian peninsula. The "spanish" adopted their culture after conquest, the same way the romans adopted greco-etruscan culture. The word guitar it self comes from the arabic quithara (meaning stringed instrument) from the greek kithara (harp). Before arab occupation of the andadus and cortoba, the land belonged to carthage and so called barbarians
Well thats nice but you don't need to tell me that because i already know it. The moors conquered widely most Iberia except the north, so it's obviously the music sounds arabic...
andalusian were not a northern african culture, u mean the moorish, andalusians are habitants of the south of spain. but its true that the spaniards adopted part of the moorish culture, like the music
@Ohmes00 What the hell are you talking about? Andalusians are spaniards like the rest. They are not a "middle eastern/north african/mediterranean culture ". Moors were. But not christian european spaniards, including andalusians.
@Ohmes00 yes but carthage didn't dominate all iberia ...there was also the romans ... and don't foget the vandal hordes!! then comes the berber invasion from Morocco (not barbarians)!!
This music originated in Persia by the Parthians but was mainly used by the Great Safavid Persian Empire, sweeping across India and the middle east and Central Asia, becoming the most powerful Empire of the time, this music was also used by the Moors, Persian and moorish instruments are very similar!!

@Ohmes00 and greek kithara was derived from the Persian sitar. ;)
sorry, if you want to trace back the history of something, go back all the way, and not just only to the greeks.
the history of the world seems to be written on greek arses.

@Ohmes00 The land belonged to cartage before occupation???
