Shiny Review: E-matic 4GB MP3/Video Player

I got one of these this week and you didnt mention that

1: the disc that comes with it is complicated as fuck to download

2: Video conversion is almost impossible to use, you cant use youtube MP4 files with it.

3: the Radio is always static, and when you press record it gets even more static. So even if you try and record something clear its constant static that wasnt there until you pressed the button again.

5: the sight you get the free 10$ of music requires a credit card

i got one and it is silver. it is definitely worth buying. but the camera has no flash and not everything is no too great qualit, all the ffeatures and its compact size make up for it. but dont get silver like mine its f#$%ing ugly. plus its good for showing off :-P

well actualy most wal marts dont carry this item but the online does, and to order it off line for me ended up being 57$ with shipping but there are some stoers that do have it i live in cali in a city and there was no store within 100 miles from me that had this item though, it is a great product.

buy another brand thats compatible with most music programs to transfer files easier. I wish I had never bought my daughter one of these its a waste on money and time.

i have one and i love it, yes i will have o admit it takes a while to get used to but i think its worth the money. the camera yes is low quality but if u really look it takes better video and pic than a cell phone does. It does download music correctly you just have to know how to do it rite

Its not worth the money I paid for it.

unless they make it capable of sync with a music players its a real P.I.T.A. to search your folders to find the songs you want to put on it, copying and pasting each as you go. So if you have a very big library it requires too much time to load songs. I am completely dissatified with it and wish I had never bought it. I would not recommend this to anyone to purchase.

Why don't you just use Winamp to manage it? If you have Winamp open when you plug it into the PC you will be prompted by Winamp to manage a new USB device, then you can search through your library and right-click: send to (drive letter) to add songs to the player.

I heard that this mp3 doesn't download music correctly and when the music is downloaded it doesnt have a menu to organize the music by album artist genre etc. it just has all the song names on it

It does have a menu. Under BROWSE, there it says Music, Videos, Pictures, etc. Go to Music, and it should have by album, artist genre, etc.
