@TwilightSeries575 Try going back into your project, right click on a clip, select "properties", and uncheck the box that says "maintain aspect ratio". Do that with all clips.

also,something he may be didnt say - if your video is not 16:9 widescreen,click on your video with the right button,select video event pan crop,and up there where it says "default" change it to "16:9 widescreen" hope i helped!
