Yeah, I remember. I stood minutes in the garden, only for this music. I have only one question in my mind: Why Cataclysm? Calls me a whiner, but thats my opinion.
Hey all! My name is Gruuten! I'm addicted to wow.... when i don't play for like... 1 day, i nearly kill anything in my way to get to my computer, Haha!
@TheLunaticStrawberry I just wish the game play still matched the music. That was one of the best video game playing experiences of my life, but now the game just honestly isn't very good anymore.
@GodGivesGoodHead The Wotlk era just ended way too soon, infact that is the one that should have lasted the longest... Arthas being the final boss is just the picture that should have stood up for a long time... now with cataclysm the world changed a lot... the game just became a systematic hunt for gear... rather then the old days... questing and exploring such beautiful places like Sholazar is...
They did a good job executing Burning Crusade, and amazing job executing Wrath of the Lich King, but... Seriously? With Cataclysm, it's liek they're just jumping on the end-of-the-world bandwagon. Don't get me wrong, it's still an acceptable expansion, but it's just not as well done, in my opinion.
@smoshgirl95 Oh yeah forgot about DK's, but they aren't really his minions anymore...I have an 85 DK, DK's ftw :) My DK was my first lvl 80 and in Cata my first 85.
They had to of just hit the wrong one, right? This place is in southern Dragonblight, on the map it's a giant green splotch in the middle of white blankness.
I play world of warcraft only for its beutiful music and places. Just sit down and look at all the things yo see there. Great feeling.
Cataclysm is not so bad. It is a great thing for people to remember the things that they had...and now what they have lost. To think such a simple thing could be missed such a lot.
@XaxazChromaggus dude I was just there like 2 months ago and I couldn't fucking remember why this music was so familiar but not in the WoW sense. holy fuck you just blew my mind.
@Slamface7 lol I'm glad to hear. They play it in certain areas of the park as you're walking by too. I made my group of friends stop walking so I could wait long enough to identify it. There's a few marginal changes they do, but I'd love to find out what kind of deal Disney struck with Blizzard for that
@XaxazChromaggus I know! The reason why is because the guy who made the WoTLK soundtrack is also a Disney Imagineer. If you go to the Imagination center in Epcot, it plays the new gnome music, and in the Norway ride line they play the trumpet part of Lake Wintergrasp. Pretty awesome!
@Nitrofishify Oh please. This paradise you describe is also filled with some of the most cringe-worthy people on earth, who have been yelling at each other on Vent, crying about loot, whining about content, and bragging about their imaginary damage numbers for six years now.
I've seen some absolutely atrocious behavior in RTS and FPS games, from the outright racist to the stunningly ignorant, but nothing tops WoW's playerbase in terms of being sheer, utter, egomaniacal losers.
@GozerTheGozerian You have those in every game... And in everyday life. The real joy comes when you encounter the awesome people and simply have a good time playing a fun game with people who also enjoy it just for what it is.
@felixwarrior13 Yeah but WoW players are a special breed. I remember doing a TK pug on my server back in TBC, and the raid leader delayed pulling A'lar for 20 minutes so he could regale the 24 other members of the raid with an absurd story about how he was a Marine and punched out his commanding officer.
He couldn't answer basic questions like identifying his MOS or his unitt, so in other words he was lying about being a Marine. This kind of sad behavior is typical in WoW.
@Nitrofishify Agree with you..but we shouldn't give up the world-the one so much of the beauty of WoW is based on-we live in, right? If nothing is made to find out the root of the problems and, more importantly, do something about them, then we are all going to fail to appreciate the real world and value of living in it..
@Nitrofishify I agree that the world is better - but the people aren't :( BP oilspill world - thats a very good summing up of how our world really is.
@Nitrofishify Well, but I don't think Azeroth is in much better situation than our world....I mean, scourge, undead, crazy dragons, demons, naga, witch, giants, ogre, war everywhere, destructions...... You REALLY want those?
Whatever atrocities this expansion committed to WoW, I just want to forgive them all when I listen to these absolute masterpieces from its soundtrack. This, Storm Peaks theme, Dalaran theme.... best game music I've heard, nothing less.
there is a how to destroy angels song, or mariqueen, or a song that sounds like it was made straight from the chorus of this.. or vice versa.. its buggin the shit out of me.
This music is very similar to what Alexstrasza the life-Binder guards, and this is the sound of such a beautiful place buzzing with life, a jungle. 575 stars, so good made
Life still persists here. In the very garden of creation. While the Undead ravaged the lands around them, the Shatterspear Wolvar and Oracle Gorloc lived here. They were sheltered by Freya, but burned with a dislike of each other.
They battled as if the Lich King was a figment of imagination, even with death creeping closer.
Here, and only here, did the Undeath not phase the inhabitants.
I can so see Jania sitting in the gardens of Dalaran and Arthas walking up behind her and covering her eyes with is hands... (from the Arthas: rise of the Lich King book)
wow...i know this song....first time i ever heard it was when playing Golden sun 1 or 2...wich both came before wotlk....guess blizzard bought the copyrights eh?
well yes seeing pictures like this, and just looking at the graphics it makes you fell like your in the game. every time i play this game or look at some of the trailers, or animated films i just wish my life can be a fantasy, truly amazing.
When I first heard this song, I was able to hum along with it flawlessly... I must have heard it before, but from where!? It's very pretty, I know I've heard it before WoW...
This is the song that brings Horde and Alliance together.. Ah.. so peacefull.. I one time at 4:00 AM was so tired I lay my head of my keyboard and I fell asleep instantly.. wow I got a HUGE neck cramp in the morning.. ouch
ppl always say, what use is wow in reality? well, what use is a new born baby? i dont believe that an imaginary world is any less real than one i can touch or taste. if anything, fantasies are more real to me, because i can do whatever i want, where as in rl id need money to fly or go to space or save the world. and wow isnt a totally fantasy. youre still there with real ppl at your side
I concur to an extent, but what you're saying is you're demise. That's the problem with WoW, it's not real. You cant touch the ice in Crystalsong Forest or the plants in the jungle zone in WoTLK. (I forget what it's called, starts with an S) It is just a bunch of put together particles on your screen to give the idea of ice or a jungle.
it depends on your definition of real. you can see it, but you cant touch it. you cant touch or taste love or loneliness, is it real? warcraft is still real, just not the way ppl would expect. its not like its just a cluster of pretty pictures. its an actual interactive world that goes by in real time that changes when ppl interect with it. the same atoms that make the plants in crystalsong forest are the ones that may one day reside within a human or plant
first of all, i dont even play wow. you presume to know everything about me because you read a youtube comment. i know this may come as a shock, but things can be both imaginary and real at the same time. take a philosophy class or read some articles of wikipedia on the nature of reality. actually try to learn something rather than trolling youtube. you may be suprised at what you find.
Girlfriend, eh? What use is a girlfriend? Real love is hard to find
nowadays. I notice most girls only care about money, of course, there
are exceptions... There were 2 friends of mine in wow that had a
relationship. She was very sweet in talking. I even gave her my precious
charm (the ghost from pre-LK) because she had an illness that could take away her life soon. The boy was happy because he finally found someone that understands him. Now she betrayed him for another guy.
@4theemperor I am not even going to try explaining anything to you because you are the true example of a 'NERD!' as so graciously quoted from yourself. You sit by the table, SEARCH and WATCH videos of FANTASY and 'imaginary world' (quoted from you) and you post unhelpful comments about people who enjoys fantasy. Ironic isn't it? But oh well, go back under the bridge troll. Oh yeah, you don't believe in fantasy.
@Invisiblefiyah Fantasy and imagination are definately important... it's where creative ideas come from to further advance civilization. However, one must always realise that there's a reality, because if you just dose off into fantasy while ignoring reality, you're really no more useful to the human species then a paper-weight is...
@Invisiblefiyah I'd have to agree somewhat to your statement. Personally I used to play WoW but I've somewhat managed to quit. People who laugh at WoWers and call them geeks, you guys are immature. Every human being has different perspective of what makes them happy, if this is how some find happiness then so be it. If you find yourself happy hanging out in the real world, then so be it its your choice.
I can't agree more. Infact, Wow taught me how to appreciate nature more in real life after seeing how beautiful places are such as ashenvale, grizzly hills, storm peaks, garden of life, etc.........
I bet WoW haters disliked this video. I swear, if this song wasn't related with WoW, they wouldn't dislike. Blame the game not the music!

it depends on your definition of real. you can see it, but you cant touch it. you cant touch or taste love or loneliness, is it real? warcraft is still real, just not the way ppl would expect. its not like its just a cluster of pretty pictures. its an actual interactive world that goes by in real time that changes when ppl interect with it. the same atoms that make the plants in crystalsong forest are the ones that may one day reside within a human or plant

So imaginary world is real aswell...ok.
Then I guess you don't have a girlfriend, cause Night Elves are much hotter.
You are also probably overweigh cause you don't move or exercise, and I don' even wanna go into your financial status.
That's your "real" imaginary world for you. Well, good luck.

first of all, i dont even play wow. you presume to know everything about me because you read a youtube comment. i know this may come as a shock, but things can be both imaginary and real at the same time. take a philosophy class or read some articles of wikipedia on the nature of reality. actually try to learn something rather than trolling youtube. you may be suprised at what you find.

I completely agree with you.

I can't agree more. Infact, Wow taught me how to appreciate nature more in real life after seeing how beautiful places are such as ashenvale, grizzly hills, storm peaks, garden of life, etc.........
