  • I bet WoW haters disliked this video. I swear, if this song wasn't related with WoW, they wouldn't dislike. Blame the game not the music!

  • I love Sholazar Basin and Grizzly Hills. PERFECT wilderness places!

  • Played this at my flute recidal. It was epic.

  • I still play the game. And I still enjoy it, and I've liked cata, but WOTLK was my favorite.

  • WoW never ended for me because i've never slay'n Arthas :)

And btw Wotlk was the best addon .. this is what i think :)

  • wow fall with the lich king!

  • I stopped playing in late 2009 but I have so many wonderful memories from my years in WoW. Awesome game back then and screw the haters.

  • chillaxin'

  • Yeah, I remember. I stood minutes in the garden, only for this music. I have only one question in my mind: Why Cataclysm? Calls me a whiner, but thats my opinion.

  • @Rahndoren Cataclysm destroyed wow, literally

  • @Rahndoren This played all throughout Scholozar Basin, too...

  • @Rahndoren indeed , i did exactly the same !

  • @Rahndoren When we speak of music, a lot of the music in Cataclysm is really really great :P

  • änelt Zelda Ocarina of time - Zeldas Wiegenlied

  • Hey all! My name is Gruuten! I'm addicted to wow.... when i don't play for like... 1 day, i nearly kill anything in my way to get to my computer, Haha!

  • @Gruuten Lol

  • If WoW wasnt so time consumin(fun), addicting(fun) and eating my social life(more fun the friends) I would soooo be playing right now.

  • Awsome!

  • :| that's it!. i am going back to wow. FOR TEH MUSIC!

  • @TheLunaticStrawberry I just wish the game play still matched the music. That was one of the best video game playing experiences of my life, but now the game just honestly isn't very good anymore.

  • @GodGivesGoodHead The Wotlk era just ended way too soon, infact that is the one that should have lasted the longest... Arthas being the final boss is just the picture that should have stood up for a long time... now with cataclysm the world changed a lot... the game just became a systematic hunt for gear... rather then the old days... questing and exploring such beautiful places like Sholazar is...

  • This looks like the music of the Tales of Symphonia

  • They did a good job executing Burning Crusade, and amazing job executing Wrath of the Lich King, but... Seriously? With Cataclysm, it's liek they're just jumping on the end-of-the-world bandwagon. Don't get me wrong, it's still an acceptable expansion, but it's just not as well done, in my opinion.

  • @AmericanBullet55 i agree to 100%

  • lo único bueno del juego son algunas músicas =P

  • Music plays on the phone when waiting for a wow representative to speak to

  • GOOD JOB!

  • 6 people are Emo

  • @Jeffylequamquam

    shut up its their taste

  • One of my favorite tracks from Wrath, right up there with the Storm Peaks music.

  • Six people are either Horde or the Lich king's minions.

  • @0beastly0

I'm Horde and I love this music, so eat my shit you motherfucker!

  • @0beastly0 I'm all Death Knight & i love this music, so no those people are not Horde or Lich King Minions. >:c

  • @smoshgirl95 Oh yeah forgot about DK's, but they aren't really his minions anymore...I have an 85 DK, DK's ftw :) My DK was my first lvl 80 and in Cata my first 85.

  • They had to of just hit the wrong one, right? This place is in southern Dragonblight, on the map it's a giant green splotch in the middle of white blankness.

  • Comment removed

  • sound like final fantasy^^

  • 6 people missed the like button

  • Fantastic :)

  • can you actually go to this place in WoW?

  • @yellowbrownies5 yea you can

  • @yellowbrownies5 Yeah, It's in Dragonblight, I think it's called The Emerald Dragonshrine :)

  • @Xplozive94 oh sweet ty :)

  • Omg fuck cataclysm!!!!!! This is WotLK the best expansion!!!!! Fantastic Musics Fantastic Places Fantastic Story!!!

  • @L3Leon i laughed at the "WotLK the best expansion!!!!!" part

  • how could there is 6 ppl don't like a cool and quiet music like this!

    r they crazy or what?!

sometimes i really don't understand ppl at all WTF

  • I Love this song :D

  • I play world of warcraft only for its beutiful music and places. Just sit down and look at all the things yo see there. Great feeling.

Cataclysm is not so bad. It is a great thing for people to remember the things that they had...and now what they have lost. To think such a simple thing could be missed such a lot.

  • where did the comment with 200 thumbs up go?

  • this track is beautiful

  • Its a waste of time or money depending on your vision of it. For most people it remains just a hobby, so it's neither really...!

  • better than porn. reminds me of Ccross

  • I was at Epcot and took the bus to Animal KIngdom this Sunday.

THEY PLAYED THIS ON THE BUS

  • @XaxazChromaggus dude I was just there like 2 months ago and I couldn't fucking remember why this music was so familiar but not in the WoW sense. holy fuck you just blew my mind.

  • @Slamface7 lol I'm glad to hear. They play it in certain areas of the park as you're walking by too. I made my group of friends stop walking so I could wait long enough to identify it. There's a few marginal changes they do, but I'd love to find out what kind of deal Disney struck with Blizzard for that

  • @XaxazChromaggus I know! The reason why is because the guy who made the WoTLK soundtrack is also a Disney Imagineer. If you go to the Imagination center in Epcot, it plays the new gnome music, and in the Norway ride line they play the trumpet part of Lake Wintergrasp. Pretty awesome!

  • Somehow this song reminds me of the gates of Mulsantir.

  • This song really reminds me of the old SNES RPG's I used to play as a kid. Secret of Mana, Legend of Zelda and more. Good times.

  • @arandomotaku

I think piccolo is a bit higher but i could be mistaken

  • @Rexoryp Its an octave higher ;] I play it LOL

  • What instrumnt carries the meledy? I can play on cello, but its just not the same

  • @Rexoryp

    piccolo, maybe?

  • @Rexoryp its a wooden flute btw

  • @LathWoW so fricken sweet :OOO why did he have to go so bloody nutty XD

  • Sounds like Avatar music you'd hear on pandora :D

  • I don't have wotlk :( tear tear

  • @MsHamstergurl OH NO! YOU MUST BE HELPED!!!!

  • @MsHamstergurl get it, its cheap now

  • World of Warcraft isn't a game.... its art, culture, imagination and just a better world, then the BP-Oil Spill World....

  • @Nitrofishify No. It's just a game. Wake up.

  • @Nitrofishify Well said, Well said!

  • @Nitrofishify Oh please. This paradise you describe is also filled with some of the most cringe-worthy people on earth, who have been yelling at each other on Vent, crying about loot, whining about content, and bragging about their imaginary damage numbers for six years now.

I've seen some absolutely atrocious behavior in RTS and FPS games, from the outright racist to the stunningly ignorant, but nothing tops WoW's playerbase in terms of being sheer, utter, egomaniacal losers.

  • @GozerTheGozerian You have those in every game... And in everyday life. The real joy comes when you encounter the awesome people and simply have a good time playing a fun game with people who also enjoy it just for what it is.

  • @felixwarrior13 Yeah but WoW players are a special breed. I remember doing a TK pug on my server back in TBC, and the raid leader delayed pulling A'lar for 20 minutes so he could regale the 24 other members of the raid with an absurd story about how he was a Marine and punched out his commanding officer.

He couldn't answer basic questions like identifying his MOS or his unitt, so in other words he was lying about being a Marine. This kind of sad behavior is typical in WoW.

  • @Nitrofishify Since Cata it isnt anymore..

  • @Dragrar so whats wrong with cata compared to let us say wotlk give me a few downers about it please

  • @Nitrofishify Agree with you..but we shouldn't give up the world-the one so much of the beauty of WoW is based on-we live in, right? If nothing is made to find out the root of the problems and, more importantly, do something about them, then we are all going to fail to appreciate the real world and value of living in it..

  • @Nitrofishify I agree that the world is better - but the people aren't :( BP oilspill world - thats a very good summing up of how our world really is.

  • @Nitrofishify Well, but I don't think Azeroth is in much better situation than our world....I mean, scourge, undead, crazy dragons, demons, naga, witch, giants, ogre, war everywhere, destructions...... You REALLY want those?

  • this is sholazar isn't it?

  • @sunshards93

    Dragonblight

  • @sunshards93: You know it! for the Frenzyheart Tribe!

  • Favorite zone, defo, Dragonblight. <3.

  • @Jelllyne Sholzar Basin

  • @Jelllyne In the center of Dragonblight.

  • Whatever atrocities this expansion committed to WoW, I just want to forgive them all when I listen to these absolute masterpieces from its soundtrack. This, Storm Peaks theme, Dalaran theme.... best game music I've heard, nothing less.

  • Isn't this sholazar basin? not garden of life idk either way i still love this music

  • i love this song, reminds me of my custom building in riverheart ^^ good times good times

  • there is a how to destroy angels song, or mariqueen, or a song that sounds like it was made straight from the chorus of this.. or vice versa.. its buggin the shit out of me.

  • looking for a version that isnt corrupted soundbytes

  • nice i was looking for this from the blizz hotline.. i love the soundtracks blizz makes

  • Reminds me of Golden Sun music =P

  • @Hollowfied92 damn its so obvious, how'd i miss that?

  • Sounds a bit like the forest of the spirits music in return to zork, oh the memories :)

  • I hope Cataclysm's music will be this good

  • @DraikRoan search cataclysm- the shattering

  • @DraikRoan Go to Cataclysm music: Night elves

  • @DraikRoan

sadly, it really isn't. Cata is pretty empty and just nothing in the game had good execution so to say.

  • @DraikRoan 11 months later: No it isnt

  • @DraikRoan I think it is amazing :)

  • stunning O.O

  • It looks like a golden sun song :P

  • This music is very similar to what Alexstrasza the life-Binder guards, and this is the sound of such a beautiful place buzzing with life, a jungle. 575 stars, so good made

  • Life still persists here. In the very garden of creation. While the Undead ravaged the lands around them, the Shatterspear Wolvar and Oracle Gorloc lived here. They were sheltered by Freya, but burned with a dislike of each other.

They battled as if the Lich King was a figment of imagination, even with death creeping closer.

Here, and only here, did the Undeath not phase the inhabitants.

  • @QtipRocketLauncher Frenzyheart Wolvar actually :L

  • @bobjob777 I see the mistake. It's called shatterspear village, so I got a little confused.

  • this is the same as scholozar

  • sounds like sholazar basin but bueatiful picture

  • 6 retards missed the dislike button.

  • @COD4Pro13 they missed the like button*

  • @COD4Pro13

    fail

  • @COD4Pro13 = IDIOT

  • @COD4Pro13 You play Call of Dorks too?

  • super super huge lan jiao

  • I can so see Jania sitting in the gardens of Dalaran and Arthas walking up behind her and covering her eyes with is hands... (from the Arthas: rise of the Lich King book)

  • You need money to do it anyway invisible XD

If you play the retail one you pay monthly to fly haha

  • wow...i know this song....first time i ever heard it was when playing Golden sun 1 or 2...wich both came before wotlk....guess blizzard bought the copyrights eh?

  • All hail the Wolvar!

  • sounds like zelda xD

  • reminds me of FFX

  • In which track is the whistling part?

  • I love this music, but I think saying "WoW is THAT Amazing!!!" is completely overrating this game.

  • Wow the music has changed to Easternized Gaming music. Its Great, yet strange at the same time.

  • At times, imaginary > reality. That's all there really is to it.

  • Best soundtrack in wow or is there any other waaaaay better then this one ?

  • @kertsman2221 well i like "the howling fjord" soundtrack more.. but this still kicks a## :)

  • well yes seeing pictures like this, and just looking at the graphics it makes you fell like your in the game. every time i play this game or look at some of the trailers, or animated films i just wish my life can be a fantasy, truly amazing.

  • I ADORE the tribish feeling of this music. It's so befitting of Sholazar.

  • where in the game does this appear?

  • almost the same theme comes out in FF10 when crossing the river with huge elepahnts

  • Reminds me a bit of FF9 or 10, really nice on the ears ^^

  • ye, imo best track in all wow

ye and wow is best game ever ^

  • If you want to be addicted, to a game where you run across a virtual world, then this is the game for you

Oh and I should mention that WoW is possibly the best choice you can make in the gaming industry. Best game in history.

  • Definitely my favorite piece of music from wrath

  • like avatar movie

  • When I first heard this song, I was able to hum along with it flawlessly... I must have heard it before, but from where!? It's very pretty, I know I've heard it before WoW...

  • 1:23 OWNS

  • I think this song is from a strategy game for sure. Maybe Knight and Merchants ... the Settlers 6 or something there.

  • its from world of warcaft

  • @simonssx007

    seriously?!?!?

  • is this ironic?

  • @Clestrange4 haha :D

  • reminds me of Golden Sun. So peaceful, really fitting for Sholazar Basin

  • People who are easily addicted to things should not play this game. It's that amazing.

Paying for a game is not a waste of money, depending on price anyway. 15$ a month isnt bad.

  • Reminds me of Inuyasha.

  • nothing to say but beatiful

  • Sounds a whole lot like something I've heard before in Tales of Symphonia. Which has enchanting music, such as this track, too.

  • reminds me so much of Final Fantasy, both awesome games 5/5

  • lovin wow music these days :3

  • This is the song that brings Horde and Alliance together.. Ah.. so peacefull.. I one time at 4:00 AM was so tired I lay my head of my keyboard and I fell asleep instantly.. wow I got a HUGE neck cramp in the morning.. ouch

  • peace isn't good for your neck =/

    but it's a relaxing song =)...

  • ppl always say, what use is wow in reality? well, what use is a new born baby? i dont believe that an imaginary world is any less real than one i can touch or taste. if anything, fantasies are more real to me, because i can do whatever i want, where as in rl id need money to fly or go to space or save the world. and wow isnt a totally fantasy. youre still there with real ppl at your side

  • AGREED 100%

  • @Invisiblefiyah

absolutely right, but its not that easy

in a philosophical(is that right? im german^^)way its true the biologic "use" of life is to get a baby for example so humanity can go on living

..well there are way more ways to think about the use of wow but my english aint that good so i stop here^^

  • Completely agree with you.

  • @Invisiblefiyah wow I like you

  • I concur to an extent, but what you're saying is you're demise. That's the problem with WoW, it's not real. You cant touch the ice in Crystalsong Forest or the plants in the jungle zone in WoTLK. (I forget what it's called, starts with an S) It is just a bunch of put together particles on your screen to give the idea of ice or a jungle.

  • @51erik

it depends on your definition of real. you can see it, but you cant touch it. you cant touch or taste love or loneliness, is it real? warcraft is still real, just not the way ppl would expect. its not like its just a cluster of pretty pictures. its an actual interactive world that goes by in real time that changes when ppl interect with it. the same atoms that make the plants in crystalsong forest are the ones that may one day reside within a human or plant

  • @51erik You mean pixels...

  • @4theemperor

first of all, i dont even play wow. you presume to know everything about me because you read a youtube comment. i know this may come as a shock, but things can be both imaginary and real at the same time. take a philosophy class or read some articles of wikipedia on the nature of reality. actually try to learn something rather than trolling youtube. you may be suprised at what you find.

  • @4theemperor

Girlfriend, eh? What use is a girlfriend? Real love is hard to find

nowadays. I notice most girls only care about money, of course, there

are exceptions... There were 2 friends of mine in wow that had a

relationship. She was very sweet in talking. I even gave her my precious

charm (the ghost from pre-LK) because she had an illness that could take away her life soon. The boy was happy because he finally found someone that understands him. Now she betrayed him for another guy.

  • Right, enough with the emo crap

  • @Diathorus

    watch?v=I6RNcgYhy28

    I play as a chick~ but I m really a duuuuuuude~ dance for the tips in Stormwind Baby~

  • @xmintyninjax

Lol, that boy knew her in real life, so she really played as a girl.

  • @4theemperor I am not even going to try explaining anything to you because you are the true example of a 'NERD!' as so graciously quoted from yourself. You sit by the table, SEARCH and WATCH videos of FANTASY and 'imaginary world' (quoted from you) and you post unhelpful comments about people who enjoys fantasy. Ironic isn't it? But oh well, go back under the bridge troll. Oh yeah, you don't believe in fantasy.

  • @Dreignify Cool story bro!

    *thumbs up*

  • @Invisiblefiyah Easy... the use of a new born baby is survavility of our kind... Besides that... I agree with you bud, lol.

  • @Invisiblefiyah Fantasy and imagination are definately important... it's where creative ideas come from to further advance civilization. However, one must always realise that there's a reality, because if you just dose off into fantasy while ignoring reality, you're really no more useful to the human species then a paper-weight is...

  • @Invisiblefiyah I'd have to agree somewhat to your statement. Personally I used to play WoW but I've somewhat managed to quit. People who laugh at WoWers and call them geeks, you guys are immature. Every human being has different perspective of what makes them happy, if this is how some find happiness then so be it. If you find yourself happy hanging out in the real world, then so be it its your choice.

  • @Invisiblefiyah

    I completely agree with you.

  • I can't agree more. Infact, Wow taught me how to appreciate nature more in real life after seeing how beautiful places are such as ashenvale, grizzly hills, storm peaks, garden of life, etc.........

  • @Invisiblefiyah You couldn't have said it better.

  • @Invisiblefiyah wow, not the game, but the word WOW! what you just said, was incredible and so right on the spott! awesome :D

  • @Invisiblefiyah u need money in wow =/

  • @Invisiblefiyah playing wow as a teenager was the most fun thing i have ever done (and i have done a lot so far)

  • I imagine sitting in somewhere like this in my fantasies. Thank you blizzard.

  • it's make me to pay again the account :-<
