I've got the same guitar and its KICK ASS!!! theyre hard to find but i boght mine for $890 Australian. they might be hard to find because theyre 'limited edition custom shop'. well thats what is says on the back...

The only problem of a maestro tremolo is that it detunes very quick. But if you don't use too much or too hard, it's just fine. And sounds great too!

The writing on the pickups are the protective clear colorform fun sticker that you remove after purchase.

i just got a black sg n i love it

but ive always liked the gibson sg cuz of its shape and because it had no finish and u could see the pure wood

with the epiphone sg i dont know if i should get the red or stay with da black

any suggestoins

well i like seeing the wood too and im thinking you should buy the sg g400 vintage or alson kmown as faded wether its black or red you can still see the wood and its 100 bucks cheaper but made with all the same mechanics
