  • If you notice, many of these YT accounts are very recently activated and all around the same time - they also only have the same uploaded videos... nice try straight talk. I have straight talk and its ok. I hate that they constantly send you text messages and use up your messages instead of it being at their cost. I have the "all you need" plan and it's all I need but they need to stop hounding us about renewing.

  • I think that I would be stupid not to look into pre paid more seriously. from what i have heard there isn't a single draw back - great deals especially the striaght talk $45 unlimited plan, great reception/coverage, great phones available.. and straight talk has gone international now and offers ammmaaazing international rates!

  • cool!!! I think I got my answer. I've been looking at these videos and I was really confused on whether I should get Straight Talk. See I'm a college student so I wsn't sure, but after seeing a young guy like myself saying how good it is, I think I might try it! Can anyone tell me what is their best phone?

  • Too bad they tell you some phones are java enabled but straight talk disables all java abilities. No games. No IM. Super slow net browsing. etc... I'm going to Boost mobile. $35 unlimited everything plus all that crap straight talk keeps you from.

  • Actually straight talk offers service on at&t and verizon. if it has a sim card its at&t and if it doesnt it runs on verizon.

  • Really cool phone. We work so hard for our cash so we need to spend it on something worthwhile, Straight Talk is flexible enough for our family and cost effective.

  • My mom told be about some crazy cell phone deal called straight talk where I can talk and text as much as I want for $45 a month. I usually never listen to my mother but this time I’m glad I did. The service has been good. The phone aren’t anything out of this world but you can check email and go on the web and stuff.

  • @GMenBlue50 yea real solid phone...i like that they use the verizon network so you know its good coverage and on top of that its free long distance so you can call all over the place....u a giants fan? we are gunna be great this year!

  • They money I've saved by ditching my contract and going with Straight talk has almost paid off my credit card and as soon as that's done I'm staring to save for a new car. The best is I still have a smart phone and with the Straight Talk unlimited plan I can use my phone all day if I want!

  • @bergbabe1 i love that 2, that i cant text and talk as much as i want w/out going over mins and havin surprise bill. ive got a regular phone by straight talk right now but in a few mths i plan on getting me a smartphone so happy.

  • I am so relieved that my cell phone budget problems are all a thing of the past now that I'm using Straight Talks unlimited everything plan. Since I've got my dream phone, Straight Talk Nokia E71 smart phone I don't have to worry about how much time I spend browsing on the web because I've already paid $45. I must tell you this phone takes super quality photographs, I haven't seen any other phone with a 3.2mp cam corder.

  • Oh ya well. If you have any issues whats so ever and you will there customer support will leave you hanging I know several people who went months without a phone. There famous for saying we will call ya back. Guess what it dont happen. Customer support is in India and they hate us as americans. So why does Walmart use them its totaly beyond me. FIX YOUR CUSTOMER CARE YOUR B.S. POST WILL NOT COVER YOUR LACK OF CARE!!!!!

  • Straight Talk only uses the best (Verizon and AT&T), offer the best cell phones packages, incredible airtime plans and auto refill. Straight Talk is flexible, diverse and reliable....................my only prefered option!

  • @88tegan1 I only heard that ST is on the At&t and Verizon networks recently and it really is pretty amazing when you think those are the 2 best networks in the country! Can't believe that I save $70 a month and get the same or better coverage

  • This really points out all the bad stuff the contract companies charge us for.
Straight Talk has changed my day to day.
Now I can afford my phone and Straight Talk give a lot of value for money so it is possible to actually use it. $45 unlimited is such a good deal.

  • @jennerkaren you guys ever wonder why the signal strength on these phones is so darn good? It's because they use both the Verizon and ATT towers to give signal strength. Ya I know nerdy thing to research but it didn't make any sense for my service to improve while my bill went down.

  • I wanted to save money and have NO contracts or hidden charges. At Wal-mart I found Straight Talk a great deal that has saves me lots. I pay per month $45unlimited plan and everything is included in this plan. Next month I will give the $30 a month plan with 1000 min. talk/text/free 411 calls and 30 mb of data. Let's see how it goes. Switch I did and can't complain.

  • I put my college going daughter on Straight Talk last year and what a pleasure! She got the qwerty slider for her birthday and now with the unlimited plan she is in cell phone heaven and even finds time to phone home every now and again! I feel she is safer too as she always has minutes to call if necessary!

  • I'd say go with straight talk if you want an affordable unlimited service that is dependable with no contracts or hidden fees. Go with a contract phone if you want an Iphone and spend a ton of money a month.

  • keeeds

  • I can't seem to find a single negative comment about this Strighht Talk pre paid unlimited deal! Is it really all that amazing? Surely the coverage/reception is bad or something like that if the price is soooo good????

  • @Tish100Tash Well everything you've read about Straight Talk is true but the customer service is overseas based as they all are and the answers are by the manual and time consuming. However I've never had a problem so I don't really know if that's true and you will probably never need them either. Go with Straight Talk like I did and you'll save a fortune and be glad you did!

  • Straight Talk has now begun to mean quality to me because if you get the cheapest plans, get great reception with no dropped calls or crackly talking or voices breaking up on the phone and there's no bad stuff, then surely that is all you want and thus Straight Talk offers a quality product.

  • @rights4animals2,I agree I use Straight Talk and have never been happier. The coverage and reception is really good, what do you expect when Straight Talk uses Verizon network. I have moved away from friends and family for my studies so I use the $45 unlimited option and the months that I visit them I switch to the $30 for 1000 min.

  • gotta agree with you @mnrdmnrd my new Straight Talk phone as well. Great service, competitive pricing and no hidden fees. I saved about $40 a month by switching over. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to save money and get reliable service

  • I have saved at least $700 this year by being on straight talk. This has been a really welcomed amount of money to do my christmas shopping with this year. Things have been tight over the last few years and straight talk has definitely eased some of the burden for me. Happy holiday and Merry Xmas/

  • I have to agree with the other posters – straight talk is the deal to have and use. This isn't your typical prepaid company with dropped services and no one answering the customer service lines. Straight Talk is on the Verizon network, so im sure that’s good. I had at&t before that but I’ve always heard Verizon was great.

  • I'm just thrilled that I can now have control over the families cell phone expenses now that we are on Straight Talk's plans. At last I can budget accurately in advance what the cell phone costs are going to be and I won't be getting any surprises any more like I was getting when we used to be on contract.

  • The increible savings you receive from Straight Talk will make this Christmas a Happy one. I have saved over $400 over 5 1/2 month's. No contracts to sign, no bills, and no hidden charges. I have the unlimited plan for $45 a month, that is all I pay for per month. Isn't that increible? Happy Holidays to All.

  • I have been with Straighttalk for over a year now. I have had no reason to switch and use the benefit of not having a contract. Straighttalk has been straight and down the line with me and everthing that is said about them is true

  • All this guy wants to do is SAVE. I read comments but went to Walmart for the real thing. You go straight to the electronics department, and ask. They are very helpful and even tell, Oh I switch to. Well, that happened to me. I switch and am saving for this holiday season. I have the $45 a month unlimited plan and have saved alot. Don't throw your money away. Straight Talk is what is in for this years Holiday Gift.

  • This is a funny guy. He knows a good deal when he sees one. Straight Talk unlimited is the best deal that there is availble. The great thing is that if a better deal comes along, which I doubt, you can just walk away from ST because you are not locked into a contract.

  • Straight Talk's $45 plan is not only the cheapest unlimited plan out there but also doesn't send monthly statements, doesn't charge a start up fee when you first start with them, they give you unlimited mobile web, e-mail & free calls to 411 and they have the best reception compared to other unlimited prepaid competitors. The more I use my Straight talk unlimited plan the cheaper my calls get and I'm in heaven about this.

  • I agree, Straight Talk is the best choice for anybody. I only pay $45 dollars for unlimited everything for the whole month. Unlimited calls, texts, and data. To me that's amazing.

  • Getting straighttalk was a really smart move that I made and it has also saved me a lot of money. Straighttalk has been so good to me that I am going to by my neighbours kids a phone with $45 unlimited card for Xmas. They are going to love it and their folks are going to enjoy the savings

  • It's jingle bells all over our house this festive season with all the amazing gifts we've bought with the money saved by using Straight Talk and our friends can't believe we've got smart phones as well as saving big bucks!! We're certainly in for a wonderful Christmas!

  • Happy Thanksgiving Straight Talk fans! I got a lot of ads for Black Friday's sales and I wanted to let you know that Walmart will be having a fantastic sale on Straight Talk!

The Samsung T255 for only 445 wiht an airtime Card @ $45....it's like buying a free phone!

  • @emmadj93 Happy Black Friday to me! Picked up two of the new Nokia 6790s for my friends on contracts because I know they want to get rid of them as soon as possible. And I annoy them about how much they spend on their phone bill because it's twice as much as wmine lol

  • @emmadj93 To you too! I bought three Nokia 6790s for my friends because they all pay way too much for their iPhones and this will show them how much money they will save. Christmas shopping done already!

  • Straight talk is the best deal for the money. I have been using the service for like 7 months now and I cannot say anything bad about it. Haven't dropped a single call and I am very happy with the no contract, no hidden fees with no monthly bills policy.

  • It is amazing just how much money I have saved by using the $45 unlimited plan. I have halved my expenses compared to when I had a contract phone. Straighttalk is also having some good deals coming up for black friday which might be an idea for christmas gifts

  • Durign this time of being strapped for cash, straighttalk has really been of a great help to me. With the $45 unlimited plan I have been able to run my company phone and my overheads have been only $45 for cellphone talk, text and data which has been so important to me as I have had to travel a lot and my car has been my office and at least I have been able to stay in contact without it costing me the fortune that contract phones cost

  • What I love most about the straight talk plan is that there are no contracts to sign, no hidden fees, and that there are no monthly bills mailed to your door step. Just as easy as buy the re-fill car, imputing the number in the computer, and that's it; ready to save big!

  • When I went on to the straighttalk unlimited for $45 I was a little reluctant. I thought that because I was paying so much less than on a contract there must be some catch like bad service or poor coverage - This has not been so! I now save money everymonth and have nothing to moan about

  • im tellin you guys the undeniable truth! you heard it here first!! Straight talk will straight save you money! lol, see what i did there? now seriously, i'm payin only 45 dollars a month for all the textin and callin i want. why would i be throwin away my hard earned cash when i know i could be saving so much with straight talk?

  • I have walked the walk and talked the talk with contracts. Since switching to straighttalk unlimited for $45 a month I am saving money and getting more time to be on the phone. With a contract there were just so many hidden costs that I dont have with straighttalk. With straighttalk unlimited you definately get more for less!

  • I have walked the walk and talked the talk with contracts. Since switching to straighttalk unlimited for $45 a month I am saving money and getting more time to be on the phone. With a contract there were just so many hidden costs that I dont have with straighttalk. With straighttalk unlimited you definately get more for less

  • This guy is funny. He also seems really happy with his straight talk phone. Why would't he be. From what I can see it is the best deal around. It is great to talk as much as i like for $45 a month.

  • Its absolute heaven to get on my bed on a Sunday afternoon with a cup of coffee, my little doggie and to just chat about my relationship stuff for an hour or 2 with my girlfriend. I find a good gossip while painting my toenails just makes me feel happy again. Of course I couldn't afford to chat for hours at a time if I didn't have Straight Talk $45 unlimited talk, text and web.

  • It's good to hear all these positive things about straight talk. i have been scared to make that big change into prepaid because you always get scared that the phones are not going to be as good and the service isnt going to be as good. But that isnt the case at all. I needed to make a switch because I talk and text all day long and have been getting a million fees and just my bills with sprint are OUTRAGEOUS. I plan on getting straight talk and its so nice to hear such great things!

  • @rebruns23 Do it. It's worth it.

Be forewarned tho. Their customer service SUCKS BIG TIME. I guess everything cant be 100% perfect lol

  • Now a days what everyone needs is to save money on cellphone bill. With Straight Talk you will have lots of reasons to save. The $30 month plan has 1000 minutos to use as you like, and the plan I have the $45 month unlimited plan its been the greatest buy for this Holiday Season and big savings. No contracts to sign and since Straight Talk uses the verizon network the quality is great, and no dropped calls never. Walmart has it, go get it today.

  • I remember that sinking feeling I would get when I opened my cell phone bill every month. Gone are those days when I finally caught a wake up and changed to Straight Talk. I love the fact that for $45.00 I can have unlimited (YES UNLIMITED......image my surprise) calls/texting/data.

  • I like it! Straight Talk is the best thing out there and the new Nokia smartphones are so great with super coverage. I love the $45 unlimited deal with the new Nokia smartphones!

  • @WillPowter Definitely agree with you. It feels so good to have a smart phone and only pay $45 a month. All my friends with iphones are stuck in contracts paying $100 a month. I don't get why anyone wouldn't want to join straight talk.

  • I never would have considered going to a prepaid plan because they tend to offer lower-quality phones until Straight Talk came out with the Noka 6790. The service was already ridiculous and the price can't be better but now that they have the hardware beware.

  • Having just started on Straight talk $30 plan this month I'm looking forward to not getting that unpleasant feeling at the end of the month when I would normally have gotten my cell phone statement with the surprise money balance owing. I'm so pleased to be able to make up my own mind which cell phone plan I want to be on from month to month and if I don't want to be on a plan at all for the month I don't have to buy a plan & I just skip a month if I want. I'm really enjoying the free feeling

  • I have recently moved and had a lot of changes to be made to the apartment. I was so happy I opted for Straight Talk as all my 411 calls were free, just imagine having to pay for the 411 calls for electricians, plummers etc and then having to call all these artisans. Straight Talk's monthly plan for $45.00 saved me a bundle.

  • he got that right, straight talk is the best provider around, offering great customer service, nationwide cover with verizon, free 411 calls and no roaming fees. i am on the $45 a month plan, with unlimited talk, text and data, and live so much more peaceful now that i do no longer have to worry about a huge cell phone bill at month end. with straight talk i save about $50 a month. and that does add up over the year....

  • What I have liked about the Straighttalk unlimited for $45 a month is just how much money I have saved everymonth. At least $50 a month. Everymonth I go and spoil myslef on the cash that I have saved with straighttalk. I will never change back to a contract phone - it just costs too much money

  • Straight Talk and family savings go hand in hand. When you purchase Straight Talk Unlimited for $45 you have all of the good stuff unlimited, plus no contracts to sign. For persons that do no use it often, Straight Talk has several plans to accommodate each individual. Start saving, and also you will never have a dropped call. All you have is a wonderful network that sounds great everytime you make a call.

  • Straight Talk cellphone has the best plans you can choose from. You purchase the cellphone you like, and then for $45 a month you get unlimited everything. Like the Ad stated, you will be telling your friends, family and everyone who wants to save money. With the old cell company I had, I could not save, had a contract for 2 yrs and scare moments at the end of the month. So, get Straight Talk today.

  • The straight talk phone has great service and great dependability. With the $45 a month plan I get unlimited talk, text, free 411 and I can send and receive as many photos as i want. I can call anywhere in the US and still be charged per minute because is no long distance! I love that there are no contracts to sign, no hidden charges, and no roaming add ons!

  • I really find the $30 plan for 1000 minutes talk, 1000 texts and 30MB of web absolutely perfect for my young boys. For just over 30 minutes a day for talking and 30 texts a day anything more would be a waste of money. If they use all their time by the 3rd week of the month they have to top up themselves and they're ok with that. Usually for their birthdays or hollidays or Christmas I buy them the $45 unlimited plan.

  • super deal straight talk is offering. i am on the $45 a month unlimited plan, cause i use my phone a lot, i chat and text plenty and use my phone when i have to do my delieveries to take orders from clients. i get unlimited talk, text and web access and great coverage via the verizon network. i also had to pay cancellation fees, but i no longer mind as i save a lot since i switched to straight talk, and therefore have the lost money long back in my pocket.no regrets, would do it again any time

  • Purchased the best cellphone in Walmart a Straight Talk cell. I am pleased that I made the switch from Sprint. I only paid $50 a month and still have cash left to buy other needed stuff, like an extra prepaid card. Fan of Straight Talk cellphone.

  • @carucha53 Did you see the new Nokia smart phones from Straight Talk while you were at Walmart or are they too new? Anyway at $200.00 for a smart-slider and the $45 unlimited plan I'm going shopping!

  • @islay263 I just saw the new smart phones and am ready to make the switch. i've got to say that i love straight talk, always have. now i love them even more for adding smart phones to their list of phones. it's great!!

  • My parents love the straight talk plan. They don't text that much or talk on the cellphone that much so they got the 1000 minutes, 1000 texts, and 1000 mb of data for $30 a month plan. I got the $45 a month plan and I can talk and text as much as I want to with no contracts and no monthly bills. Thank you straight talk!

  • I was with AT&T also and i was paying even more until about 6 months ago until my grandma of all people told me she was paying $30 a month for her cell phone from Wal Mart. I obv didn't believe her but after some digging around i decided to switch to Straight Talk. The Verizon network is really solid. Im just embarrassed my grandma knew where to find the best cell phone deal before i did!

  • What I like about the Straight Talk plan is that you know exactly what you are paying for the service and when you are playing for the service. There are no contracts and no monthly bills and you just refill your time card when you want to use the cellphone!

  • I can just imagine the stress one must have when your kids reach the cell phone age. You want them to have a phone so that you can get hold of them and keep in touch but the cell phone bills must be quite something to get used to. With Straight Talk you can monitor exactly how much they spend and not have to worry about any surprises. It must be so much less stressfull adn with the great coverage you can be sure you will always be able to get hold of your kids...

  • Verizon gives you great service on Straight Talk. I've recently convinced my boyfriend to pay the cancellation fee for his old company and get Straight Talk 'cause I know he'll make back the money and then much more with all the money he'll be saving. We each have the 45 dollar plan, unlimited everything so we're always in touch :3

  • I used to be on a contract wiht another cellphone provider. Everymonth I would get a different bill depending on what calls I had made (My bill was never under $75). Now iwth the straighttalk $45 unlimited plan I pay just $45 a month and I can phone nationwide, free 411, text and data. I would never swop to another provider other than straighttalk

  • The Verizon network is a great network. It is awesome that you have access to such a powerful network with no contract. Its a no-brainer why many people choose straight talk in order to save money on their phone bills.

  • yeah! this is a great plan, $45 for unlimited? I know straight talk is awesome! Me and my friend bought Straight Talk phones a few months ago, but we use the $30 card as we get 1000 text/ 1000 minutes/ and 30 web for that money and that's enought, but it's true it's great to kow should we need it that we have the option to go unlimited for $45, and no contracts!

  • I also got a huge termination fee when I switched to Straight Talk. It is definitely worth it because I am currently saving like $60 a month!

  • My biggest concern regarding cellphones is not so much the cost of the minutes, or the data. Being able to have the best coverage nationwide is important to me. It just so happens that strait talk was also the cheapest way to go. I got the samsung R810, yes it was on the expensive side of things, but it gives me everything I would expect from a smart phone, plus I have it at the cheapest rates.

  • If you are tired of getting big bills, join the club. Or better yet, dump your contract and get Straight talk. Seriously, I did last year ave tons and have a nice phone with $30 for talk and text every month. Yeah! Not kidding. It is so good!!

  • I switched to straighttalk from my previous contract and service provider. I now save a fortune of money every month and find that there are no scarey bills that I have to contend with. I highly recommend that if you are not with straighttalk you make the switch

  • I changed to Straight Talk from a contract and what a huge saving it was....enough to make a large dent in my credit card bill and I'm on my way to being debt free! The $45.00 a month unlimited talk, text and data plan gives me peace of mind as I never have to worry about a cell phone bill again!

  • Cool service and best bang for the buck with verizon. $45 dollars a month was a lot less than what I was paying with my tmobile contract. I have been saving so much money since I made the switch. It was really worth it.

  • Funny guy... But he knows a deal when he sees one! The verizon network is the best in the country and straight talk really do keep the cost of minutes and texts as low as possibe. Straight Talk really is the smart choice nowadays

  • Straight Talk really is the smart way to go. There are so many contracts out there with hidden clauses that you don't even know about until it's too late to go back, huge cancellation fees and so forth. Straight Talk eliminates all of that nonsense and really is just plain and simple - A TRULY GREAT DEAL with no surprises!

  • Like you say Straight Talk is a good deal and $45.00 a month is so little compared to a contract and you get unlimited talk, text and data! I can even afford the Samsung Finesse at over $300.00 cause I'm saving so much!

  • in these days of recession this Straight Talk plan really seems like a life saver. well it did not save my life, but definately my finances. since i switched to Straight Talk i have saved at least $40 a month. i got myself the cheap and cheerful phone for $19.99 at walmart together with the unlimited Straight Talk plan for $45 a month and now i can talk and text away to friends and family without feeling guilty that i spent too much money on my phone bill.

  • Straight talk offer a great deal. For $45 per month I get unlimited time (text, talk and web), I can phone my kids who are scattered all over the States and there is no extra cost for long distance calls. Straigh talk has really saved me a fortune in cash and I highly recommend it to everyone

  • It seems StraightTalk and Tracphone have hired some pretty savvy PR and rep people to post positive comments about these videos. Check the users' comment history. Most grammatically correct collection of YouTube comments ever, and they all read like the ad campaign! No personal experience yet, but caveat emptor!

  • Comment removed

  • total agreement from my side. i only need a phone to keep in contact with my friends and family. all i had to do is go to a walmart store get a phone for only $19.99, get my airtime and off igo. no contract, monthly obligations. just great.

  • With straight talks $30 plan, my 1000 minutes and texts are more than I could possibly use. I'm saving close on $60 a month from what I was paying. So ST's package is not only the best and easiest plan for me, it feels like I'm getting cash back monthly for the pleasure of using an affordable and reliable option!!

  • I was excited to learn that Straight Talk is on the Verizon network as well! And with the way the economy is right now, the savings I have had with this new phone are fantastic as well! Although I pay the $45 a month unlimited, my monthly bill was cut in HALF switching to Straight Talk. Not having that long-term contract to worry about was a huge bonus! I found a great phone in my price range and with no monthly bill to worry about, I never have any surprise overage charges.

  • The arrival of the monthly cell phone bill was becoming a nightmare and ruining the fun of having a cell phone at all! After a lot of research we found Straight Talk and what a win!! $45.00 per month unlimited talk, text and data gives us the freedom to use our phones as much as we please with no worries when the postman comes!!

  • I have saved myself a whole lot on the straight talk plan. $45 for unlimited calls, text and web plus 30 day service fee. There is no way that I could get a better deal than this straight talk one

  • Really is a great deal, i save around $65 a month with the unlimited plan and i get way better coverage with straight talk...

  • I was going through some tough times and I got laid off from my job so I needed to cut some of my expenses. When my phone contract was up I decided to try out Straight talk so I bought the samsung r355c and I will never go back. I get unlimited texts, long distance, and data for just $45 dollars a month. I save about 20-30 dollars a month and I get full service. What more could you ask for?

  • Nice point... Changing to straight talk was the best thing ive done in years. Amazing coverage, amazing deals and the warm fuzzy feeling that saving $60 a month brings

  • @MrPrepaidrules Not to mention that you aren't really missing anything. It uses the Verizon network so it has great service and you can get a smartphone that rivals the function of the Blackberry and iPhone.

  • save save save with this straight talk-they use same lines as at&t but at a way affordable price and no contract-way of the future bro

  • I love having access o the net on my new Straight Talk phone but I really love the unlimited plan at $45.00 per month!

  • I joined up with AT&T for the IPhone and started off paying over $300 a month and over $110 a month for service - it all got to be way to much. Switching to Straight Talk, I'm on a better network and I was able to purchase a new Samsung texting phone (with Qwerty keyboard) and a month of service for $174 and still no contract. If you do the math, its obvious what the better choice is.

  • Another big up for the Unlimited Plan, such a great deal for unlimited everything! Still have yet to find a deal quite as good as this.

  • READ THE FINE PRINT AND WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT REFILL COVERAGE UNTIL YOU HAVE USED YOUR COVERAGE COMPLETELY. THEIR SYSTEM IS DESIGNED TO SCREW THEIR CUSTOMERS. WHY ELSE ERASE ANY REMAINING COVERAGE YOU HAVE WHEN YOU ADD A NEW REFILL CARD? THIS IS A SIMPLE QUESTION THAT NO ONE AT STRAIGHT TALKS CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT CAN ANSWER.

I AM CONCERNED ABOUT ANY COMPANY THAT WOULF HAVE A POLICY LIKE THIS IN PLACE. IT LENDS TO REASON THAT THEY ARE SCREWING YOU SOMEWHERE ELSE ALSO. JUST SAD.

  • @init4kicks2 you are wrong....dont be a fool

  • @init4kicks2 Virgin Mobile does the same thing. Friend of mine refilled his balance with a phone card a few days before the billing cycle and they reset his billing date 5 days early and then 2 months later he was wondering why his billing cycle was ending 10days early. Turns out if he payed his bill 5 days ahead of time they would automatically restart the plan billing cycle to start immediately instead of having it applied to his balance until the billing cycle takes place.

  • straight talk service is really great! i hope more people will experience its astounding service and be more familiar with the basic things to keep in mind like refilling minutes on time. enjoy using straight talk!

  • do you get unlimited web on here too?'

  • @SmakDofficial yes if you get the 45 dollar plan. its unlimited everything. talk, text, and web.

  • I like Straight Talk but when I signed up for auto-refill it took my debit card info but then didn't give me a choice of plans... so now I'm not sure if I'm actually signed up or not (nor do I know what plan they gave me), then when I called their 800 number I keep getting a recording that says "we are busy call back later". They also don't have any email or webform to contact them, just a snale mail address.

  • @Jesuistouche you can call customer service through your ST. it's free just dial *611

  • Hello there I did return the phone back to the compnay. God Bless You.

  • I bought the Straight Talk phone and from day one my phone was defective. Straight Talk took down my reviews on-line when I wrote what happened with my phone. I guess they don't like bad reviews but they should leave the reviews there all the same because, it's only the right thing to do. I guess the truth hurt them.lol Anway Staright Talk is not a bad deal if you don't get a defective phone like I did and have to deal with customer service. God Bless All.

  • @wordofadvice1 Did you return it to walmart?

  • my bill is $94 tax included with ATT for 450 minutes, unlimited nights/weekends, unlimited text and media.. 45 bucks a month sounds good. Can you use other phones with this service, or do you have to use theirs on the straight talk website.

  • @platinum108 u connot use your old phone you need a new one because they have no sim card

  • @Xmoto16 I bought a straight talk cellpnone lat week and it has sim card identical to the tracphone simcards.

  • Great service/price people, how can anyone argue different?

  • @TheRiggyRiggs Got no idea, I guess some people either hate saving money or are afraid of prepaid wireless. too bad they could be saving a ton of money and getting the same thing as an iphone for 45 bucks a month

  • I'm saving $50/month with StraightTalk and the reception is clearer than my old carrier! Thank you Wal Mart and Straight Talk!

  • @AmitaZ1 is the montlhy bill exactly 45 bucks or is it 50 or 55 bucks with the tax?

  • @roygib09 50

  • @roygib09 It will probably be an extra 4-6 dollars. If you buy the phone cards at the store they will charge you the taxes above the cost of the card. SO if you buy a 45 dollar card the tax will not be dedicated from the card balance so you would pay the tax at the register. Same goes if you use a debit or credit card.

  • whenever i would talk a little bit too much on my phone, i would get screwed with overages.... i switched to tracfone and straight talk and i haven't had the problem since

  • @henscluck32 I am right there with ya buddy. It seems like I have run through a million plus cell phone providers. I am so happy I finally found Straight talk wireless. I feel bad for people who don't yet know about Straight Talk.

  • Love straight talk. This service is by far the best out. At least the best i have used, and i have used alot of cell phone services.

  • I love to see others saving money like myself. Straight is IT!!!!! too much money to be saved using straight talk. If your not with ST you are missing out

  • I am so nervous about getting this service. For some reason I think it's going to suck.

It feels like it's too good to be true.

  • At first I was unsure about using them but they turned out to be a great cell service. I like!

  • Getting ready to end my contract with Verizon. Got 2 Blackberry Storms in Sept 2009, so far we've paid out $600 in monthly bills with the current balance for Dec and Jan of $414. Over $1000 for 3 mo. service (no overages). Estimated bill they said $180 at sign up.. None of this includes the prices for phones and activation and their only answer is "We charge a month ahead. You owe us this amount." That's it. I was much happier with prepaid before. I'll never go on contract again. I'm done.

  • I'm pretty happy with my Straight Talk plan. I mean, for the money, you really cant go wrong. $45 and you get unlimited minutes and texts. Right now, it is the best deal on the market in terms of phones. And on top of it, you don't have to deal with a contract. So lets say one month you don't need your phone or go out of the country or something, you just deactivate, and when you need the plan again, just start up. Really, the plan bends to your needs.

  • How do you get free ringtones to an

LG290C I'm at my wits end I can't get them on there and it's really frustrating I don't want to pay 2.99 for a song from the mobile web and every time I do try and get free ringtones it says message expired or unable to read. Should I take it back to wal-mart or something???

  • i just got straight talk... only thing that pisses me off, you can not erase voicemail messages... that shit uses up minutes becuase if i want to listen to a message, i have to listen to others that have been made... that sucks.

  • Hi! You should look into getting the 45$ unlimited min and texting plan. With that plan your only problem, should be gone. I'm glad to hear that you really don't have any problems with this phone either.

  • I just hit the number seven & it said message erased...

  • @stanleyssister yeah ur rite... but i didn't know that before... but thnx

  • Phone contracts are so unreasonable. My kid got hold of my phone and I got the most outrageous bill.

That is why Straight Talk so fantastic. I got my kid a $30 monthly plan and thats a 1000 minutes and 1000 messages with no bill to make my heart stop.

He is so right, I am saving so much money every month, even with both of use having a phone.

I hear that Straight Talk runs through the Verizons networks which explains the good coverage I have experienced.

  • Great Plan! I was on Metro before I saw this. I used to spend $150 on my cell phone bill because I was talking and texting way too much. Now I only pay $45 a month for unlimited talk and text. I had to pay alot of money to cancel my original plan, so it's great that I don't have to pay activation fees for my Straight Talk phone. Way to go TracFone.

  • im in desperate need of a phone.. verizoncharged like 900 because of..well its complicated..

i was thinking about pocket/metro, but after you comment i was shocked!!

so you think straight talk is better than metro.?

  • yes its way better than metro

  • @gousc0612 Straight talk is thru tracfone??

  • Tracfone operates their Tracfone-branded product, Net10, and Straight Talk.

  • its not really a tracfone but then again it is. it's complicated.
