Alan Arkin "People Soup" science fiction book, a short story collection from real original science fiction, before the video wars and "Video killed the radio star"- The Buggles; and the battle of "i'm on a Mexican radio" - Wall of Voodoo
So a song from disney's least racially sensitive movie ever is featured in season 4... Could this be why it takes them for-fucking-ever to release the box set? *tinfoil hat*
Great. Now. if I ever want to learn who Alan Arkin is, I'll remember him as "that guy who tore the earth apart with his bare hands to kill bunnies". This was such a weird show.
How could I forget this with Muppets singing Disney songs? :)
I know they did this storyline again with Heather Locklear eating mood-altering food that turned her into a raging b-tch when she ate a chimichanga, and nice when she ate a biscotti.
"You know who doesn't get enough credit? The Osmonds."-Good Heather
Not nice! Thank goodness I didn't see this clip when I was a kid, I can imagine it being traumatizing mixing such an adorable background with such senseless violence.
Knowing that this song Zip-A-Dee-Do-Dah came from one Disney classic that isn't on DVD. That would be Disney's "Song of the South," based off the storybook "The Tales of Uncle Ramus and Br'er Rabbit." If any of you fans of The Muppets have never seen Disney's "Song of the South" before, the entire movie is uploaded here on YouTube. And as a big Disney fan, I recommend that rare Disney movie classic. After you watch it, think about weather or not if you would want it to be released onto DVD.
gees! long ago violence was allowed on TV for kids!

@1985Nebraska That movie is not a classic. It got terrible reviews and even Walt hated it. There was a reason it was banned.
