  • Never heard this before! thank you! Another reason to love Beatles stuff on you tube!

  • People seem to need to be critical of the parting relationships, but these were "brothers" who needed a break and slack. You can't convince me that all four of the Beatles didn't deeply love each other right to the end. Even the phrase "ex-Beatle" is nonsensical, as we'll never remember them apart from each other. John, George, Paul, and Ringo; forever.

  • I'm about to cry looking at their pictures together combined with the song. :'( I had to scroll down to the comments so I couldn't see the pictures.

  • they did meet up in california, during the time yoko sent john packing

  • Is there any way I can acquire this song for my own personal use, such as a mp3 player?

  • @doughnutboy99 it's only on here for EDUCATIONAL use. But if you type things into google like- 'youtube to mp3 converter,' you may not be disappointed.

  • @doughnutboy99 Download "YouTubedownloader" it is so easy to use.

  • @doughnutboy99 Won't let me link but google YouTube Downloader :)

  • @itscalledBeatlemania it's ok bro, I feel the same way.

  • People I will forever love most dearly

  • Dobre kurwa :D

  • I love the fact that Paul and John still stayed in touch after The Beatles broke up. They always loved each other like brothers and tried staying close (at least, until John moved to New York). If John was still alive, maybe and probably he and Paul would be closer now. they had their rough patch of hatred towards each other for a while and they got over it and afterwords had almost the same relationship when they were young and watching this the day before John was killed.....It's making me cry

  • During Lennon's 'lost weekend' in 1974, when he and Yoko split for about 18 months, he and May Pang went to L.A., where he hung out with Harry Nilsson and others, and jammed/partied. Paul and Linda ended up in L.A. dropped in on the party, so to speak, to visit with him. Paul and John played, also among other musicians.

  • I thought I had heard them all -- definitely not this one. Wasn't aware of the 1974 get-together, either (unless this is a gag). Regardless, thanks for the upload.

With Beatles in mind, I've posted the video, "40 years in 3 minutes", which is a music video containing the Beatles' rooftop performance, historical events over the last 40 years and 8mm film antics from the period, all cut tightly to GET BACK and GLASS ONION. Hope you enjoy!

  • Anyone know where i can get the piano version to this? I can't find it on youtube. :(

  • Never heard this one be for fantastic.

  • First time i have heard this song having not bought many of Pauls solo/Wings albums.

It's interesting how Pauls songs about John ( this one, Here Today, Two Of Us) are all positive and uplifting whilst Johns' song about Paul ( How Do You Sleep) was negative and cynical.

  • @stanssoapbox Both of the pair's early songs were negative and cynical. Paul also wrote 'Too many people' before John wrote 'How do you sleep.' But they both mellowed over time, thankfully!

  • @stanssoapbox But Paul released a song in his first solo album, it is called Too many people, against lennon :S anyway, they loved each other as a brother

  • @stanssoapbox SMILE AWAY was about John Lennon. "Man I could smell your feet a mile away". Not real positive.

  • @stanssoapbox Believe me, if Paul died instead of John, it would John writing the beautiful songs about his old friend.

  • @superman11978 and all the paul fans would be sayiung how much better paul was than john

  • @stanssoapbox What about "Some People Never Knows"?

  • @stanssoapbox ...Two Of Us was written by Paul about travelling the English countryside with Linda, not John.

  • @stanssoapbox because, hate to say it but John was an Asshole..who married a controlling, pants wearing evil bitch who made John even MORE of a hater....When I read the famous Lennon Playboy interview and how John complained about Paul showing up one night with an acoustic guitar wanting to play together and they asked him to leave, not letting him in, I cemented my opinion on John and Yoko....Yoko going to work on HER album the day after Johns murder...that's the type of person she is....ROTTEN

  • @mjw9363 She made john happy, thats good enough live and let live pal......

  • @stanssoapbox Two of us wasn´t for they (Paul and John), was about Paul and Linda, read ana read and you can understand well, your words are just a lie, grow up... you lost.

TWO OF US WASN´T FOR PAUL AND JOHN, WAS ABOUT PAUL AND LINDA.

  • @norfiel No, YOU grow up, idiot.

  • @stanssoapbox Yeah, i can do that... but you don´t, sorry be happy, ciaO

  • @stanssoapbox its been my experience that everyone I've ever met that grew up in Liverpool has a kind of negative take on most subjects or topics. John just grew up with the Liverpool style, yet Paul somehow defies the stereotype.

  • @stanssoapbox "Two of Us" is actually about Paul and Linda. At least thats what he said in interview (the one where he was interviewed by his daughter)

  • @stanssoapbox Listen to "I Know (I Know)" by lennon. Thats a positive song about Paul.

  • @stanssoapbox Even though Paul DID write negative songs about John (like those others have pointed out), John stated years later that "How Do You Sleep?" was actually about himself. His dislike for Paul at that time helped and is evident in the song, but he directed most of it at himself.

  • @jestysoup @stanssoapbox Too many people is by Paul, addressed to John, and expressing critique

  • @stanssoapbox My first time for this one, also. "Two of Us" was written with Linda in mind, according to Paul, and "Here Today" was Paul's homage to his friend and "brother", John, AFTER his death. Good to know they were on the mend and "Getting Better" at the time of John's assassination.

  • First time I heard this song (sorry as I am also a fan of the Beatles), who sings and made this song? I think is Paul but I like to be sure. Thanks.

    LONG LIVE THE GREAT BEATLES

  • @fantorjhs You're right, Paul wrote and sang it. Thanks for watching!

  • @789Films789 which record is it off of?

  • @matco24 It was going to go on Tug Of War, but didn't make it. So it's unreleased. But I think it's one of his best- If I ever meet him I'm bringing it up.

  • Can anyone tell me any info on this song? When it was made, etc?

  • It is uncanny! I just found out this song was written BEFORE Johnny went to heaven! I have shivers.

  • This is the definitive Beatles song for me. It shows their grand relationship, which was the foundation to their music, their lifestyle, our love for them. It shows how they really were, without any makeup, just the way they were and we still are in love with them. THANK YOU SO MUCH for putting this here. Really, Thank you!

  • The Beatles would reunite again up above.. You don't need to be worried about that.

  • They Both KNEW...

  • I hope they meet up in heaven.
