@patka1982 The reason some people dislike him is because he mainstream'd dubstep into "brostep" (easy-listening dubstep). Typically dubstep has a sub-bass line running through it. Sometimes it pulses (wobwob, etc). However, with the inevitable popularisation of dubstep, people started listening to it on iPods, laptops, etc. which lack speakers to show off the bass, thus some of the beauty of dubstep is lost. Skrillex accentuated & moved the sub-bass line into the midrange so it could be heard.

Dance, electrohouse, dubstep, 2-step, dub, d&b, house, breakbeat, trip-hop: all tasty musical fusions. Plug in those headcans!
