Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the game and it's fun and all but is it just me or are the controls a little off? when I play I tend to slide off the track and into things. On the DS that doesnt happen at all. Not only that but this game is wayyyyy more chaotic, there seems to be green shells and banana peels EVERYWHERE. Maybe I'm driving too fast, maybe its the control stick (I would rather use the D-Pad anyway) and it's kinda lame how you can't use the D-Pad =/ but oh well.

@HeadacheVillain sorry man, the truth is, this game is pure tactics and coordinations, i found easier the rainbow road of this MK, my friends found it very hard, compared to another mario kart games.

For i've heard this is the most difficult MK ever!!!!, also i found the game awesome.

dont u hate it when ur playing on mirror and ur like 20ft from the finish line then a bule shell hits u then bowsers shell then a red shell then a green shell the u run into the banana in front of u then a red shell owns u the luigi goes DDUUPPPAAAA right through ur ass with a mushroom then u get owned by the chain chomp and u come in 11th. hate it when this happens but u got to admit it it happens to us all at least once (maybe leaving out a few things or in a different order).

Def the best game of the series, brings back old memories. Loved yoshi circuit and baby park, in fact I remember setting a 10.4 second lap on that track!!

I always liked how they always had shortcuts and little challenges. It's always fun to do when your always in front and getting bored. Although most of the shortcuts aren't usefull unless you have mushrooms which you never get while in first place. Nothing tops being consistant and staying tight on all the turns. I wish this game was online.

HUGE TIP HERE: if you have a second controller get a friend and let him/her play in the grand prix at 2 player mode and the game will be much easier because he or her can for example throw blue flying shells when someones at first place. My friend has helped me beating 150cc mode and the mirror stages and now only the all cup is left on mirror mode
