I dont know why everyone is comparing this game to TF2 lol. The only thing this has to do with TF2 is classes and thats it. Sure this game is terrible on PC but on consoles its fun. The parkour is not broken. It is if you spam the jump button but your only suppose to press the "smart" button. TF2 is a great game but i common lets be honest here. The brink engine (I.D. Tech which also runs RAGE) is way better than TF2. All in all TF2 and Brink are both great games. Stop comparing Brink to TF2
what brink can improve if they made a Brink 2 + new weapons + more maps + more game modes + more customization + do the killing faster + match Pakours on the terrain (example: only high places needs a pakour thing) + better Ai + maybe.. just maybe.. Map Customization + more skins + better graphics + more classes and if they really add all of these in the game, the brink game will be saved just like Mass Effect

When i play online, i mute everyone except my friends, that way we can communicate without distractions. Little kids Infest every game, not just COD. It just so happens that LOTS of people play COD, and you're unlucky enough to be meeting them over and over again, i NEVER meet them when i play.......Especially in BF3 or MW3....maybe you just suck and god hates you.
Ok so brink was a bit of a disappointment, (for me i liked it) but there might be a brink 2 and 3, the director paul wedgewood even said it that it will be the same game and stuff but since they've made mistakes in this 1 i hope brink 2 will be awesomer

I don't know why people hate this game so much, I played it and it's really fun, I love running around giving medkits, also I love the awesome customization for your character and guns, the parkour feature is also cool. But it doesn't really bring anything that new, it just ties up alot of great ideas together.
@constantin23454 I agree with everything u say but I think that the buffing guns and spy hacking idea is really cool, the medkits is kinda a rip-off from Battlefield and cutomization is needed in most games nowadays
READ: In my opinion BRINK was a normal shorter but with a twist and a stile disappointment it has bad severs and just out dated in-game graphics, but over all at least they tried and trying is what matters, NOT if you want to make a shooter then leave just don't every time anyone try to outshine halo or COD they lose its just not worth it. so next time if you want to compete put more maps better graphics and this time A FUCKING STORY THAT'S NOT IN THE MULTIPLIER. :)

And most reviewers complained about the lag when it was released but blackops was poor when it released but never got knocked down for it. Brink gets points for taking risks and doing something new and innovative, but the execution wasn't there.It's almost as if they put alot of effort into the customization aspect but rushed the game so that they couldn't work on the gameplay of it.

I think it's mainly the campaign and that it don't have the usual TDM etc. I've got so many fps games but I want something that isn't trying to copy or compete with cod. @Allcott14 Brink is a very great game in my opinion. Though people complain about the story mode being the multiplayer with bots, it actually helped out alot cuz even when there's not alot of people you can play it.

Fair score. I thought this game was pretty good. But it got very repetitive and boring. Plus barely anyone plays online anymore. I was hyped for this game. Good ideas but they didn't execute it well. Only reason I haven't sold it is because it looks cool in my collection. My personal score would be 4.5/10.
Reasons you should get Team Fortress 2 over this shitty game:
- More weapons
- More maps
- More game modes
- Endless mods
- More classes
- Weapons are more balanced
- More players in a server (TF2 has 24 players in a match, while Brink only has 16)
- It's FREE!
The only things that Brink has over TF2 is character customization (which is pointless since the graphics are so bad that everyone looks the same in-game) and the parkour (which doesnt even work from a first-person perspective anyways).

Why do IGN always mention Call of Duty in their review. I personally think activision is afraid of change, it's like"Why fix what isn't broken". Why buy the same game over again, not much have changed since Call of duty 4 and the multiplayer are almost the same, there only some different rewards and maps. It's like pokemon, when they run out of ideas they just add the same pokemons in silver edition, so all the kids can feel cool.
This game was terribly over-hyped, I tried so so so hard to like this game but it just didn't happen.
It was "fresh" in the sense of how it looks and is played but so stale on how it executes it, that and the story mode could have been so awesome if they tied it together well.
This was a big deal to me, fighters hold more story than this game and that's sad to say.
Hopefully if they make a sequel, they'll fix the real issues and polish the rest.
@NightOfTheLiving8bit I personally found the bullet sponginess to really work with the game and give the feel of not just solo run in and actually having to work with your team. Also because you have a respawn time it would be a pain to die fast.
i love brink, i don't know why, but i think it was because of the way in which you can customise your characters and guns. altho i have to agree the repeatativness of the maps is rather annoying

Sorry, didnt realise TF2 was the gripping tale of a man fighting for his country and taking his endless rage and thirst for vengeance out on innocent blus that he knows are at fault, but doesnt care due to how their blood being spilt feels all the better, and when he returns home alone he must cope with his actions and sins.

I believe that this game felt sort of unfinished. Its a shame that it never caught on and has so many people against it. It could have offered so much to gaming but it just fell short of that. I don't think there will be any more sequels though with Betheda promoting things like Skyrim and Fallout. But if they were to continue I would buy it because I would really like to see this game given a second chance :)
I got it for 7 bucks, and I think it's okay. If I would have payed full price, I would've been pissed. For so cheap, though, I ended up enjoying it quite a bit.
I actually can agree with what IGN said. The game was really dull, but it definitely didn't deserve a six. If anything, an 8/10. My biggest problem is the massive delay on 360 with aiming and firing. You have to wait a whole second after pressing LT or RT to actually do anything.
Do anyone know the back story to brink? here the story,they talk about it in 2010, they said it going come out in 2012 but bethesda said they want it out now so they make lot money to make there game, bethesda never made the game,splash damage made it. so it came out in 2010 2011 so they rush it and that why it not that good. bethesda made it bad. what even more bad that bethesda MADE MORE MONEY THEN SPLASH DAMAGE.if splash damage take the game for them self this would be a great game.

Don't buy this game! I pre-ordered because it looked amazing. There are 8 levels and 8 levels only. No teamdeath match, just you, a few online players, and A LOT of computer players. It was "fresh" in the sense of how it looks and is played but so stale on how it executes it, that and the story mode could have been so awesome if they tied it together well.
This was a big deal to me, fighters hold more story than this game and that's sad to say.
Hopefully if they make a sequel, they'll fix the real issues and polish the rest.
That and make it easier to kill people!

This game isnt meant to have a story, the whole game is based on ONLINE, think of it as Socom: Confrontation, only with a mode so you can practice by your self, the customization is kick ass, and SMART was amazing, this game is the most underatted fps EVER!! Fuck COD, BRINK FTW!

Sorry, didnt realise TF2 was the gripping tale of a man fighting for his country and taking his endless rage and thirst for vengeance out on innocent blus that he knows are at fault, but doesnt care due to how their blood being spilt feels all the better, and when he returns home alone he must cope with his actions and sins.
I thought lotsa good games had the simple red vs blu story.

I want to defend this game, but it really isnt that fun. Sure it's fun to customize your character & weapons and it's fun too bounce around the map. But the story is barely there, and the objective based story mode is BORING! Over all I would give it a 6/10

I believe that this game felt sort of unfinished. Its a shame that it never caught on and has so many people against it. It could have offered so much to gaming but it just fell short of that. I don't think there will be any more sequels though with Betheda promoting things like Skyrim and Fallout. But if they were to continue I would buy it because I would really like to see this game given a second chance :)

I actually can agree with what IGN said. The game was really dull, but it definitely didn't deserve a six. If anything, an 8/10. My biggest problem is the massive delay on 360 with aiming and firing. You have to wait a whole second after pressing LT or RT to actually do anything.

Do anyone know the back story to brink? here the story,they talk about it in 2010, they said it going come out in 2012 but bethesda said they want it out now so they make lot money to make there game, bethesda never made the game,splash damage made it. so it came out in 2010 2011 so they rush it and that why it not that good. bethesda made it bad. what even more bad that bethesda MADE MORE MONEY THEN SPLASH DAMAGE.if splash damage take the game for them self this would be a great game.

Don't buy this game! I pre-ordered because it looked amazing. There are 8 levels and 8 levels only. No teamdeath match, just you, a few online players, and A LOT of computer players. It's repetitive and boring after a day, or less. The worst shooter I've ever bought. I wish I'd waited to hear more after the game came out. I'm just warning unsure buyers.

It is a fun game but the graphics were a little bad. I think it is a fun game if you do not want to be fussy about minor gliches and other things that cross your way. Over all it is a rather good game.Personally I think you die and need to be revived a bit to fast after you have been hit. It does get a little boring after you play it for a very long time but that is the same for any game,

i actually agree with guy. this game was okay but rather disapointing. they had everything to make the perfect game. great story, new fps gameplay, cool look and they didn't invest in any of it. sure the customizations are cool and the smart system is definitly one of the best things i've seen in an fps, but in the end they just didn't invest in it. oh and people who are whining about ign, shut the hell up. this is one person per video giving their opinion
