Wow that reminds me of my experience. I started the process in November and with the holidays and everything I got approved very quickly. I am scheduled on the 31st of March. I was originally scheduled for today, but I had a sinus infection and had to reschedule:( I know it is all going to work out for the best though! We will be within a week of eachother!

wow that is super fast!! I started journey in 8/07 and surgery was schedule 6/08but then got in early on a cancellation 4/08. Yay for you..the next 3 weeks will go super fast!!!  Best Wishes..

I had a similar experience. My paperwork was submitted on a Fri - Mon was a holiday - and I found out on Tues that I was approved. In a way, it made me realize I really did have a weight problem that needed this surgery. If the ins. co. would approve me at the snap of a finger, it must be the right thing for me!

I think someone at BCBS was sitting at the fax machine saying your name again and again waiting for it to come. Cuz that is crazy! :) I'm so happy for you though. Cassius is so cute. I'm so excited to watch your journey. You'll be on the loser bench soon. :) take care - jenn
