Was the Dutch version of this song ever released on record? Theres millions of copies all over Europe of the English language version - did Xandra ever release the Dutch version in Netherlands?
There was a CD released about ten years ago that contained all the Netherlands entries to Eurovision from 1956 to around 1998. It included Colorado from 79 and Teach In from 1975 both in the Dutch language.
I seem to recall that the only song that was in English was "The Party's Over" from 1976.
Not sure if it is still available though and I cannot remember the title of the CD, but try checking out Amazon or one of the Eurovision websites.
Toen Sandra (aka Xandra) dit liedje zong was ze 28 jaar, tijdens haar inzending van "The Party's Over" was ze 25 en toen ze ons land samen met Andres vertegenwoordigde met het liedje "Als Het Om De Liefde Gaat" was Sandra 21. Overigens heeft Sandra ook in 1970 aan de nationale finale deelgenoemn met "Voorbij Is De Winter" en voor degene die niet kunnen tellen :p toen was ze 19 jaar! (en eindigde als laatste met 0 punten)!
Dat lila lavendel nummer was ook best mooi, maar dit was toch een echt songfestival nummer.

Song is not that good but made a big impression on the Eurovision Songcontest. As Sandra was touring in Scandinavia, Portugal etc afterwards
