I believe Oswald (even if he hadn't got/or had been fired from the TSBD job) would still have tried to kill Kennedy- even by getting another job on the route or bluffing his way into a building. Hell, he could have even booked a hotel room on Main Street-and used the curtain rods fable to get the rifle in. He may even have chosen another part of Dealey Plaza from which to shoot-or somewhere like the Harwood/Main dog leg turn. He would have found somewhere.
@MALCBAGGIE You are an ignoramus! The way you slander an innocent ex-marine CIA agent! I would wrap some curtain rods you know where. The package was eight inches too short to be a rifle! Put a bag over your head until you start studying the facts. The WC had a Moorman photo of the TSBD at the time of the shots and if Oswald was in it why was it buried for 75 years? The Hughes film shows nobody in the window after 2 cars were already on Elm St,. and the first shot was seconds later!
@tregoj1I've heard the package DID fit the rifle-so, what was in the package? No curtain rods were ever found in the depository. Why did Oswald go out to Irving on the Thursday night? Why wasn't his rifle in the Paine's garage when the police searched it? Why has Mary Moorman never mentioned another photo? Well, if Oswald was in it of course he's innocent. My bet is it's similar to the Altgens Elm photo and won't show Oswald. And where's your EVIDENCE he was a CIA agent?
@MALCBAGGIE Marina Oswald said the gun was there when the police first checked. Frazier said Oswald as did others that he carried nothing in that day. Maybe Oswald wanted to make sure the rifle was still there so it wasn't planted at the depository. Moorman took a whole roll of polaroids and they are all in the archives. Jean Hill on camera said Moorman was taking pictures (plural) and she was holding them for her. He had CIA number 127. Judyth says so and he was getting $200/mo.!
@tregoj1 Marina saw the shape of the blanket and relaxed-wrongly thinking the MC was there. So, if Oswald had curtain rods why would he leave them in Frazier's car? He was going back to 1026 NB that night. And if he left them in the car-where did they go? Or what did WBF do with them-he must have seen them. So, what was the identical empty package found by the sniper's nest? I've checked- the disassembled MC is 35 inches long-the bag on the SF-38 inches long. Did WBF and his sister measure it?
@tregoj1 And regarding the Hughes film-it cuts out just after JFK's limo turns onto Elm-Oswald was hardly going to be sitting in full view of the SS/DPD holding a rifle! It's most likely he was crouching out of sight than simply sat up when JFK'S limo/the SS follow up car had made the turn-& the agents were no longer facing his window.
@MALCBAGGIE And as for ''noone'' being in the window how do you explain the testimony of Harold Norman, Junior Jarman and Bonnie Ray Williams-Oswald's co-workers who were on the 5th floor-under the sniper's nest. They heard THREE shots, the bolt action being operated and the shells landing- through the gaps in the wooden boarded floor. Dust even landed in their hair. Anyway, many conspiracies include a sixth floor/SE corner sniper. Horned rimmed glasses man, elderly negro etc.
@MALCBAGGIE We see a man in the window one over from the open corner one. There are inconsistencies on their stories as to how they got there. They aren't looking up in the Dillard photo. Most witnesses said the shots came from the grassy knoll. None of the cops ever mentioned smelling gunpowder on the sixth floor. The guys on the fifth floor never heard anyone WALKING up there. B R W finished his lunch up there about 12:20. When does Oswald move the boxes when JKF was due at 12:25!
@tregoj1 Well, the boxes were there-& assembled by someone. He must have had time to construct it. As for no gunpowder smell-maybe the cops smelt it and didn't mention it. Conspiracy theorists contradict themselves by placing mysterious figures on the SF etc ( Hughes film) and assassins other than Oswald at that SFW-yet then deny shots were ever fired from there!
What intrigues me is the ''what if'' Bonnie Ray Williams hadn't left the sixth floor? Would LHO still have gone ahead?
@MALCBAGGIE the agents car was already on Elm Street too! The first shot was about 4 seconds later! It was an entrance wound from the front. From the angle that really existed and not the fake drawing that shows Kennedy down looking at the floor, his face would have been destroyed by a depository shot. I saw the two x-rays and they disagree with each other! The front one shows NO SKULL on the whole right side! The one on the right shows fake bone in back and a dark fake area in front
Wow, 2 people went into a building to use a public phone? Amazing. If you had just been involved int he assasination of a US President, would you stick around the scene to make a phone call? If you look at the timeline, this timetable is nowhere close to the minute that the President was actually shot FYI, cell phones didn't exist back then. Is it surprising that someone would have gone to a phone to tell people where they are at after one of the largest events in US history?
Mr Larry Florer is a tremendously interesting person, and this is where I first heard of him - thanks Helmer. This after 30 years interest in this subject, and in the Dal Tex Building's significance almost immediately upon that. And here we see Florer walked down the block and into the detetciove's offices. Wonder what story he might have told.. You know - other than the one he did.
Which part of mens rea - the guilty cvonscience - is, not using any of four back doors, each unsighted from the other; not using distraction of intense overpass search by DPD, rather, waiting to help Robin MacNeil get on the air to report that hunt; giving up the cab to an old lady; not taking Greyhound that sits nearby; making sure to have a Coca-Cola, no matter the free world, just decapitated; not claiming responsibility for the grandest politcal crime since 1914? None. LO an agent & loyal
@newsmanbluesman Oswald could have gone out the back, but he went out the front. Mainly because he likely knew that had he gone out the back, he would have had to double back to the front anyway, as his main means of transport, the bus, was in that direction. And it is subject to debate whether he actually helped MacNeil. MacNeil believes he did, but even he believes it is possible he was mistaken. In any case, Oswald only told him where a phone was, hardly a major interruption to his escape.
@newsmanbluesman He did not give up the cab to an old lady. The cabbie told her there would be another, and, according to the cabbie, Oswald backed up this sentiment. As for not taking the Greyhound, clearly Oswald wanted to get his gun first, which is exactly what he did when he got home. As for the Coke, maybe he was thirsty, maybe he wanted a prop in his hand as to appear nonchalant and inconspicuous. Whatever the reason, it hardly erases the mountain of evidence pointing towards his guilt.
In the Zapruder film, the Secret Service Agent sitting in the front passenger seat of the President's car turns around and by frame 268 sees a clearly wound JFK and at frame 296 turns back around and just sits there even through the fatal head shot he doesn't turn back around he just ducks down in his seat. Between the Secret Service Stand Down video and the Zapruder film, how do people still believe in the lone assassin story?
@jfkjacqueline Whoever Babushka Lady is, she is most definitely not Beverly Oliver. Umbrella Man is Louis Witt. He testified before the HSCA and even brought the umbrella he had that day with him. Not that it matters. It is the height of ridiculousness to suggest that professional assassins would require such a noticable signal as an open umbrella on a bright sunny day to help them with the assassination. Who was the team leader, Moe Howard?
@deweycheethamandhowe Think about it. Why would someone not involved in any conspiracy have an open umbrella on a sunny day? Plus Witt said he had no idea who the guy next to him was. Really? Give me a break. He has a radio with him. Means he wasn't Louis Witt. Why isn't that Beverly Oliver?
@tregoj1 I am thinking about it. What kind of conspirators would use someone holding an umbrella on a sunny day as their signal man? You ever hear of the phrase "sticking out like a sore thumb"? Then again perhaps these "brilliant" conspirators explain why things went to hell in the next 12 years, with a humiliating defeat in Vietnam and the inability to keep the Watergate scandal under wraps.
@deweycheethamandhowe It was supposed to go to hell for the next 50 years! It is a much larger conspiracy to bunkrupt our country and take away our sovreignty and create a one world government. Why would an ordinary joe open and pump an umbrella? The guy next to him had a radio. Talk about sticking out- the Newmans are on the ground, photographers are snapping away, and the crowd is chasing the shooter up the knoll and the umbrella man and his pal just sit there sunbathing!
@tregoj1 Witt's reasons for using an umbrella, was that it was a symbol of protest. The umbrella symbolizing Neville Chamberlin and the appeasement policies that Joe Kennedy Sr was in line with during the late 30's, early 40's. A bit esoteric, but more believable than someone making sure to be noticable when they are committing the crime of the century. Not to mention that a signalman on the ground would be unnecessary as Kennedy was at point blank range (for rifle fire) the entire time.
@tregoj1 The gentleman next to Louis Witt did not have a radio. That is people seeing what they want to see in grainy photographs. And sticking out in the crowd is something one would want to do if they are staging a protest, which is what Witt was doing, not if they are participating in a covert executive action. Or do you think they thought, "let's make sure our signalman is the guy who is most noticable in the entire Plaza, that should help us cover up the crime"?
@tregoj1 As for Beverly Oliver, the woman in films and photos that day looks a little too old and dumpy to be the 17 years old at the time Beverly Oliver. If you told me Beverly Oliver anytime after the mid-70's was the Babushka Lady, I might be more inclined to believe it.
@deweycheethamandhowe If they needed an umbrella as a signal when to shoot it means their view of the Limo wasn't too flash or their vision wasn't 20/20 flash. Either way this theory is ludicrous.
@deweycheethamandhowe There's a still black & white photo of the crowd congregating on the GK sidewalk after the assassination-which includes the Babushka Lady-who's face is clearly seen & it's clearly NOT Beverly Oliver.
I suppose a back door assassin COULD have gone out the back and came back down Houston Street -but that seems an unecessary detour. A presidential assassin's instincts would have been to have got out as quickly and directly as possible.
Which is what Oswald did exactly. Why didn't HE use the back door? Look at his subsequent movements-bus, taxi etc. His old landlady saw him on the bus and said he looked 'like a maniac'. Why would an innocent patsy act in such an incriminating way?
@tregoj1 But I don't think he WAS a patsy. For me, the tests in ''JFK Inside The Target Car'' destroys the grassy knoll shooter theory-& therefore conspiracy theories. ( Jackie would have been killed by a bullet exiting from the left side of JFK's skull). Why were fibres from Oswald's shirt found in the MC stock. etc? Also, if he wasn't a shooter (but involved) why didn't he go out onto Elm at 12.30 pm to give himself an alibi. Why did he pose for photos with both murder weapons? Some spook!
@MALCBAGGIE The tests can be rigged any way you want to. Jackie was to the left of JFK and the momentum of his head does not carry him into Jackie so the bullet would not have done so either. To me the biggest clue is the first autopsy photo with the hole in the temple and the Dallas doctors with the large hole in the rear. The shooter was more to the FRONT than the left. Hence you see a cop and a crowd in that area, The backyard photos are fakes. The crop is on the chin. LHO-scared!
@tregoj1 Stuff like the temple bullet hole ( a real conspiracy would never have allowed that to be captured on film) and the faked back yard photos theories. Why fake them -why didn't they use the 'second' Oswald? Dallas doctors didn't have time to closely examine JFK. He was lying on his back and his thick hair was matted with blood and brain matter. Stop the Z film at f313 & you can clearly see the right hemisphere of his skull explode and brain matter fly FORWARDS-ie a shot from the rear.
@MALCBAGGIE The hole was captured on film. The Z film is doctored. The spray is painted on in one frame! It would surely last for more than 1/18th of a second! The Nix film shows JFK's head going back and to the right! The back of his head after the head shot is unnaturally dark in the Z film. The entire front skull is missing in several frames. If they used the second Oswald he would fool nobody! A disinegrating bullet would fragment and leave less blowout. An impact would show pink
@tregoj1 Yeah, but for years virtually all WC critics (most obviously Stone in JFK ) touted the Z film as PROOF of conspiracy, front shooter etc. So, why would they need to ''doctor'' it? Why would any conspiracy complicate things so? I believe a plot would have involved one gunman- dressed like Ossie- firing a gun ordered in his name etc They wouldn't have used ''Alex Hidell''.
@MALCBAGGIE The backyard photos are fakes. The same head is on all three. Nothing destroys the grassy knoll shooter and particularly not the many witnesses. Jackie would only be hit by a side shot! He had an alibi when he was seen in the lunchroom. He was told to stay by a phone. They said the fibers were from the blanket. Science in 1963 hmmm. Oswald got in a Nash Rambler with a man resembling Ruby and both ended up dealing with Tippit. Oswald's contact at the theater never showed.
@tregoj1 The heads are different-even with today's far more advanced photo technology false heads on bodies look rubbish. Independent experts examined the photos under microscopes and the grain was the same-you can't fake that. As for the lunchroom alibi- I assume you mean Carolyn Arnold. On 22/11/63 she gave two signed statements to the FBI- in one she never mentioned seeing him at all-and the other briefly in a hallway. Only (like many others) years later did she say she saw him in the LR.
The "Fact" being true, that key evidence is locked away for 75 years by the U.S. Government says: (1) the KGB / Cuba was involved? (2) the Mafia was involved, and owned key Politicians on the right & left, plus Gay Man Hoover? (3) the CIA was involved? or (4) Big Money was involved, "Again"? *We Will Never Know The Truth*! (Me, i don't think the KGB did it? So why would the Government hide the truth? Only Answer: "Because the people would Revolt"! Big Money+Politicians+CIA+old Mafia = The Truth.
hell. the warren comm did not even see the zapruder film and did not even ask to see it. those hand picked cronies were'nt fit to investigate parking tickets.-although sen cooper and sen russell did later step away from the lock step uniformity. key in on the very beginning of the zapruder film - one motorcyle cop veers away from the flow of the motrcade by going straight down houston street which took one to the back and side of the book depo. the film then takes up again -altered.
that area was the perfect ambush site- bringing the car onto elm street it had to slow down- then with the buildings and grassy slope with a fence and trees giving cover and getaway- the acoustics of gunfire could render confusion as to the direction of shots-the crowd could provide easy blending in as the conffusion and people running across the plaza to where they thought the shots came from.- the backdoors of the tsb were perfect for escape. then the planting of circumstantial evidence.
@larrywheels The car was going no slower on Elm than most of the motorcade route. Too much is made of the open windows in the TSBD. If you look at photos of the motorcade on Main you can see many unoccupied windows in buildings-an assassin would have found escaping into the huge crowds on Main even easier than at DP. No way could the SS/DPD etc cover every window in a large city like Dallas. And Harwood and Main was a better ambush point for me than Elm-except Oswald didn't work there.
@MALCBAGGIE one thing we can both agree on is that trying to convince each other as to what the "truth" regarding the jfk assassination is a futile effort. we can argue whether the speed of the car on elm was slower in relation to the rest of the motorcade -of course the car slowed down on elm. the secret service man clint hill ran from the ss follow car and jumped on the back of the limo. I agree -the fact that oswald wotked at the ambush site- trumped any other better ambush sites.
Well here is something quite obvious - according to this picture - - - there are people staring out the window just below the 'shooters nest' - - - has anyone ever identified them and or asked them what they heard? Jesus - - - would it get any simpler? I mean either they would have heard something or not - - - and would have been the best witnesses to ask - - - of course when you're trying to cover something up - - - you over look the obvious and create more smoke and mirrors.
@ezisakoolkat The people in the window on the 5th floor were identified. Though only two are visible in the picture, there were actually three employees of the Book Depository who were viewing the motorcade from those fifth floor windows. Bonnie Ray Williams, Harold Norman and James "Junior" Jarman. There testimony states they heard the shots from inside the building, coming from the floor above them. Norman even testified that he heard the shells being ejected and hitting the floor.
@ezisakoolkat No mystery-they're Oswald's fellow Depository workers Harold Norman and Bonnie Ray Williams. BRW was on the sixth floor til shortly before the shooting-he was having his lunch of fried chicken and soda. Which was mistakenly believed at first to be the assassin's. Note position of comma.
@ezisakoolkat Norman and Williams heard THREE shots-and the sound of Oswald operating the bolt action mechanism on the Carcano- through the gaps in the wooden floor. They even heard his footsteps-and the shots caused dust to land in their hair.
Scary stuff. D.V. Harkness rode his motorcycle behind the TSBD and encountered "Secret Service" men loitering at the back entrance. They were in suits and heavily armed.
"in 2011, there has been more than enough factual evidence to conclude that conspiracy theorists have not all been crazy." Faint praise for those who did not accept the obviously crazy government line put forth by a WC full of JFK's enemies and people he'd fired. Witnesses getting murdered with a statistical probability of about 10 million to one. I think most people knew something was weird from the start. It was a coup.
I don't buy into most of the theories on YT, the pics of the TSBD were interesting. Since we need to trust the people who took the photos & made the video (ie., when the pics were taken), it's hard to draw conclusions. I've always thought that the Warren report omitted anything that suggested others were involved as it would mean others were involved. The public would not be happy knowing Jfk's killers would never be brought to justice. They wanted no questions to be left unanswered.
They were relaying the floors that week and the boxes were pushed up towards that end more than usual. But it wouldn't be that unusual to see boxes of books in the windows of a book store would it?
The shapes meant to be people are still there in photos taken after the assassination. Why would any killer hang around for five minutes at that window afterwards?
@MALCBAGGIE The TSBD was not sealed for several minutes after the shooting. A door was left unguarded in the back of the building. Someone knew who fired those shots, ( diversionary?) and gave them time to get away.
@TheAmbassador11 . The TSBD back door led into the open no mans land of the parking lot/railway yard. We know Oswald came out the front entrance because Robert McNeil of NBC asked him where to find a phone.
Any TSBD gunman would have done the same as a rear escape would lead into the trap of the parking lot. Elm Street offered the cover of the panicking crowd and a chance to melt away into down town Dallas. Why have a getaway car there either when it wouldn't have got out due to the MC/chaos.
@TheAmbassador11 How does firing a second rifle ''divert'' people from the conspiracy? If there had been plot-I believe they would have planted a higher quality rifle on Oswald and got ONE professional rifleman to do the job. Why complicate things with multiple gunmen firing from different locations? They could have been caught on film or captured or even killed by the crowd.
framing of the patsy had to connect the shooting to oswald- he was the perfect patsy. these were high level people who controlled as much as they could. keep in mind the book depo was owned by a texas right wing kennedy hater named BYRD- he was connected to murchinson and hl hunt. here were kennedy's enemies all on the right wing-they considered jfk a commie appeaser and sellout. yet a so-called commie who's political more aware than 99% of the public gets blamed and then shot by a gun runner.
@larrywheels "they considered jfk a commie appeaser and sellout"
Be pretty hard to deny it after JFK went begging for $50+Milllion to get back the Bay of Pigs survivors that Castro was holding hostage. JFK had stranded them by pulling air support after only one sortie.
Who is the man clearly visible in the 5th floor window seen @ :28? If he was there during the shooting didn't anyone interview him? He would have clearly heard the shots going off right above him.
@univibe23 i don't know where you stand on the issue of the asssassination, but my point that kennedy was percieved at that time to be a commie "appeaser" was a very popular belief of the right wing. just look at the comment by this "fart kook guy"-he confirms my point about why jfk was views were hated by the right -and this is just regarding the cuba issue. keep in mind jfk fired the top dogs in cia who plannned the whole bay of pigs invasion, you don't do this and not expect the cia to....
very interesting film. I think now in 2011, there has been more than enough factual evidence to conclude that conspiracy theorists have not all been crazy. The fact alone that one of J Edgar Hoover's post-assassination goals was to convince the American public that there was "no conspiracy". He also said there was no mafia so go figure. I find it peculiar that Hoover was in charge of the assassination investigation and also that Allen Dulles was appointed to the Warren Commission.
Compare the person's in the window on the floor below. do you realize how tall the "man" would have to be, to located in the position they have placed the "figure"? How tall is the guy, his head appears to be above the second window sill / pane? If your gonna fake a picture, at least make sure everything is proportionate. LMAO
Have you ever been on the 6th floor of the TSBD? I was there last May. If I remember correctly, the bottom of that window is only a foot from the floor, maybe less. Although you cannot get to that window due to it being sealed off, I stood at the next window. I'm only 5'8" and my head was higher than the second window pane. So it's very possible.
It was obvious...to anyone in the know that the CIA, in particular Allen Dulles, a Warren Commission member, had covered up the CIA's violent relationship with anti-Castro Cubans and the fact that Oswald, as Senator Schweiker later said, "had the fingerprints of Intelligence all over him."
HEMMING: Because he left Miami with the stated intent to kill Kennedy. He had my weapon, a Johnson 30-06 breakdown rifle with a scope on it, that had been prepared for the Bay of Pigs. I'd left it with a private investigator who had previously worked under Agency auspices on the West Coast. Hall got the weapon when we ran short of funds on a return trip from L.A. to Florida, and we ended up using Hall's car.
@themeaningoflife38 True 100 % TRUE .....Check too the Charles Mentesana footage here ou you-tube !!!! Which gun is appearing on his great footage ????????????????????????????
CE 2098-Lillian Mooneyham along with several other county court employees witnessed the assassination from the county court building on Elm st.Mooneyham saw a man in the 6th floor window 4 to 5 mins after the shooting.
check out the HSCA testimony of Col Robert E. Jones of the 112th MI unit.He admits ordering 8-12 plain clothes soldiers to Dealey Plaza that day.One of those men was Jame Powell who was caught in the TSBD after the shooting.
officer tippit knew oswold and ruby ive studyed the badgeman theory and it dosnt look to convincing, and the zebruder film has been totally manpulated theres a lot of false evidence out there, the streets of dallas were packed but dealy plaza was sparse but the cia fbi mafia millitary politicians and hitmen were in the vicinity the autopsy photographs are not convincing so meny red herrings in this death ......................
@aifammafiaaifam well if you studied the case you should at least know how to spell zapruder, and the badgeman doesnt even appear on the Z film. its in mary mooremans polaroid. but yeah i dont think the autopsy pics are real or show the real wounds. and theres just too many weird, eeire & strange coincedences for this to be just oswald.
Do a google image search on "Brigade 2506 Dealey Plaza"
When Howard Hunt was arrested for the watergate burglaries the FBI seized the contents of his safe.Nixon told FBI director Gray that it was "political dynamite" and should not see the light of day.Gray took the documents home and burned them in his fireplace.
no but he did slow down to allow the final shot. Probably ordered by Emory Robert's who also called SS agents off the rear of the limo and ordered them to stay put during the shooting. Robert's also happened to be good buddies with LBJ.
when M.Baker and R.Truly wanted to go to the upper floors .....the elevator was busy ? who were in this elevator at that time ? To my knowledge ......we never knew ?

Which part of mens rea - the guilty cvonscience - is, not using any of four back doors, each unsighted from the other; not using distraction of intense overpass search by DPD, rather, waiting to help Robin MacNeil get on the air to report that hunt; giving up the cab to an old lady; not taking Greyhound that sits nearby; making sure to have a Coca-Cola, no matter the free world, just decapitated; not claiming responsibility for the grandest politcal crime since 1914? None. LO an agent & loyal
newsmanbluesman 4 months ago
@newsmanbluesman Oswald could have gone out the back, but he went out the front. Mainly because he likely knew that had he gone out the back, he would have had to double back to the front anyway, as his main means of transport, the bus, was in that direction. And it is subject to debate whether he actually helped MacNeil. MacNeil believes he did, but even he believes it is possible he was mistaken. In any case, Oswald only told him where a phone was, hardly a major interruption to his escape.
deweycheethamandhowe 1 week ago

Between the Secret Service Stand Down video and the Zapruder film, how do people still believe in the lone assassin story?
mrwizard319 5 months ago
@jfkjacqueline Whoever Babushka Lady is, she is most definitely not Beverly Oliver. Umbrella Man is Louis Witt. He testified before the HSCA and even brought the umbrella he had that day with him. Not that it matters. It is the height of ridiculousness to suggest that professional assassins would require such a noticable signal as an open umbrella on a bright sunny day to help them with the assassination. Who was the team leader, Moe Howard?
deweycheethamandhowe 6 months ago 2
@deweycheethamandhowe Think about it. Why would someone not involved in any conspiracy have an open umbrella on a sunny day? Plus Witt said he had no idea who the guy next to him was. Really? Give me a break. He has a radio with him. Means he wasn't Louis Witt. Why isn't that Beverly Oliver?
tregoj1 1 month ago
@tregoj1 I am thinking about it. What kind of conspirators would use someone holding an umbrella on a sunny day as their signal man? You ever hear of the phrase "sticking out like a sore thumb"? Then again perhaps these "brilliant" conspirators explain why things went to hell in the next 12 years, with a humiliating defeat in Vietnam and the inability to keep the Watergate scandal under wraps.
deweycheethamandhowe 1 week ago
@deweycheethamandhowe It was supposed to go to hell for the next 50 years! It is a much larger conspiracy to bunkrupt our country and take away our sovreignty and create a one world government. Why would an ordinary joe open and pump an umbrella? The guy next to him had a radio. Talk about sticking out- the Newmans are on the ground, photographers are snapping away, and the crowd is chasing the shooter up the knoll and the umbrella man and his pal just sit there sunbathing!
tregoj1 1 week ago
@tregoj1 Witt's reasons for using an umbrella, was that it was a symbol of protest. The umbrella symbolizing Neville Chamberlin and the appeasement policies that Joe Kennedy Sr was in line with during the late 30's, early 40's. A bit esoteric, but more believable than someone making sure to be noticable when they are committing the crime of the century. Not to mention that a signalman on the ground would be unnecessary as Kennedy was at point blank range (for rifle fire) the entire time.
deweycheethamandhowe 1 week ago
@tregoj1 The gentleman next to Louis Witt did not have a radio. That is people seeing what they want to see in grainy photographs. And sticking out in the crowd is something one would want to do if they are staging a protest, which is what Witt was doing, not if they are participating in a covert executive action. Or do you think they thought, "let's make sure our signalman is the guy who is most noticable in the entire Plaza, that should help us cover up the crime"?
deweycheethamandhowe 1 week ago
@tregoj1 As for Beverly Oliver, the woman in films and photos that day looks a little too old and dumpy to be the 17 years old at the time Beverly Oliver. If you told me Beverly Oliver anytime after the mid-70's was the Babushka Lady, I might be more inclined to believe it.
deweycheethamandhowe 1 week ago
@deweycheethamandhowe If they needed an umbrella as a signal when to shoot it means their view of the Limo wasn't too flash or their vision wasn't 20/20 flash. Either way this theory is ludicrous.
genericgeorge 2 weeks ago
@deweycheethamandhowe There's a still black & white photo of the crowd congregating on the GK sidewalk after the assassination-which includes the Babushka Lady-who's face is clearly seen & it's clearly NOT Beverly Oliver.
MALCBAGGIE 1 week ago
I suppose a back door assassin COULD have gone out the back and came back down Houston Street -but that seems an unecessary detour. A presidential assassin's instincts would have been to have got out as quickly and directly as possible.
Which is what Oswald did exactly. Why didn't HE use the back door? Look at his subsequent movements-bus, taxi etc. His old landlady saw him on the bus and said he looked 'like a maniac'. Why would an innocent patsy act in such an incriminating way?
MALCBAGGIE 6 months ago
@MALCBAGGIE He knew he was there as a patsy. Wouldn't that scare you?
tregoj1 1 month ago
@tregoj1 But I don't think he WAS a patsy. For me, the tests in ''JFK Inside The Target Car'' destroys the grassy knoll shooter theory-& therefore conspiracy theories. ( Jackie would have been killed by a bullet exiting from the left side of JFK's skull). Why were fibres from Oswald's shirt found in the MC stock. etc? Also, if he wasn't a shooter (but involved) why didn't he go out onto Elm at 12.30 pm to give himself an alibi. Why did he pose for photos with both murder weapons? Some spook!
MALCBAGGIE 1 month ago
@MALCBAGGIE The tests can be rigged any way you want to. Jackie was to the left of JFK and the momentum of his head does not carry him into Jackie so the bullet would not have done so either. To me the biggest clue is the first autopsy photo with the hole in the temple and the Dallas doctors with the large hole in the rear. The shooter was more to the FRONT than the left. Hence you see a cop and a crowd in that area, The backyard photos are fakes. The crop is on the chin. LHO-scared!
tregoj1 1 month ago
@tregoj1 Don't buy it-sorry.
MALCBAGGIE 1 week ago
@MALCBAGGIE don't buy what????
tregoj1 1 week ago
@tregoj1 Stuff like the temple bullet hole ( a real conspiracy would never have allowed that to be captured on film) and the faked back yard photos theories. Why fake them -why didn't they use the 'second' Oswald? Dallas doctors didn't have time to closely examine JFK. He was lying on his back and his thick hair was matted with blood and brain matter. Stop the Z film at f313 & you can clearly see the right hemisphere of his skull explode and brain matter fly FORWARDS-ie a shot from the rear.
MALCBAGGIE 1 week ago
@MALCBAGGIE The hole was captured on film. The Z film is doctored. The spray is painted on in one frame! It would surely last for more than 1/18th of a second! The Nix film shows JFK's head going back and to the right! The back of his head after the head shot is unnaturally dark in the Z film. The entire front skull is missing in several frames. If they used the second Oswald he would fool nobody! A disinegrating bullet would fragment and leave less blowout. An impact would show pink
tregoj1 1 week ago
@tregoj1 Yeah, but for years virtually all WC critics (most obviously Stone in JFK ) touted the Z film as PROOF of conspiracy, front shooter etc. So, why would they need to ''doctor'' it? Why would any conspiracy complicate things so? I believe a plot would have involved one gunman- dressed like Ossie- firing a gun ordered in his name etc They wouldn't have used ''Alex Hidell''.
MALCBAGGIE 1 week ago
@MALCBAGGIE The backyard photos are fakes. The same head is on all three. Nothing destroys the grassy knoll shooter and particularly not the many witnesses. Jackie would only be hit by a side shot! He had an alibi when he was seen in the lunchroom. He was told to stay by a phone. They said the fibers were from the blanket. Science in 1963 hmmm. Oswald got in a Nash Rambler with a man resembling Ruby and both ended up dealing with Tippit. Oswald's contact at the theater never showed.
tregoj1 1 week ago
@tregoj1 The heads are different-even with today's far more advanced photo technology false heads on bodies look rubbish. Independent experts examined the photos under microscopes and the grain was the same-you can't fake that. As for the lunchroom alibi- I assume you mean Carolyn Arnold. On 22/11/63 she gave two signed statements to the FBI- in one she never mentioned seeing him at all-and the other briefly in a hallway. Only (like many others) years later did she say she saw him in the LR.

hell. the warren comm did not even see the zapruder film and did not even ask to see it. those hand picked cronies were'nt fit to investigate parking tickets.-although sen cooper and sen russell did later step away from the lock step uniformity. key in on the very beginning of the zapruder film - one motorcyle cop veers away from the flow of the motrcade by going straight down houston street which took one to the back and side of the book depo. the film then takes up again -altered.

i am finding it hard to belive he was killed in dallas.....
SuperBandstand 8 months ago
that area was the perfect ambush site- bringing the car onto elm street it had to slow down- then with the buildings and grassy slope with a fence and trees giving cover and getaway- the acoustics of gunfire could render confusion as to the direction of shots-the crowd could provide easy blending in as the conffusion and people running across the plaza to where they thought the shots came from.- the backdoors of the tsb were perfect for escape. then the planting of circumstantial evidence.
larrywheels 9 months ago
@larrywheels The car was going no slower on Elm than most of the motorcade route. Too much is made of the open windows in the TSBD. If you look at photos of the motorcade on Main you can see many unoccupied windows in buildings-an assassin would have found escaping into the huge crowds on Main even easier than at DP. No way could the SS/DPD etc cover every window in a large city like Dallas. And Harwood and Main was a better ambush point for me than Elm-except Oswald didn't work there.
MALCBAGGIE 1 week ago
@MALCBAGGIE one thing we can both agree on is that trying to convince each other as to what the "truth" regarding the jfk assassination is a futile effort. we can argue whether the speed of the car on elm was slower in relation to the rest of the motorcade -of course the car slowed down on elm. the secret service man clint hill ran from the ss follow car and jumped on the back of the limo. I agree -the fact that oswald wotked at the ambush site- trumped any other better ambush sites.
larrywheels 1 week ago
Well here is something quite obvious - according to this picture - - - there are people staring out the window just below the 'shooters nest' - - - has anyone ever identified them and or asked them what they heard? Jesus - - - would it get any simpler? I mean either they would have heard something or not - - - and would have been the best witnesses to ask - - - of course when you're trying to cover something up - - - you over look the obvious and create more smoke and mirrors.
ezisakoolkat 9 months ago in playlist conspiracy
@ezisakoolkat The people in the window on the 5th floor were identified. Though only two are visible in the picture, there were actually three employees of the Book Depository who were viewing the motorcade from those fifth floor windows. Bonnie Ray Williams, Harold Norman and James "Junior" Jarman. There testimony states they heard the shots from inside the building, coming from the floor above them. Norman even testified that he heard the shells being ejected and hitting the floor.
deweycheethamandhowe 6 months ago
@ezisakoolkat No mystery-they're Oswald's fellow Depository workers Harold Norman and Bonnie Ray Williams. BRW was on the sixth floor til shortly before the shooting-he was having his lunch of fried chicken and soda. Which was mistakenly believed at first to be the assassin's. Note position of comma.
MALCBAGGIE 1 week ago
@ezisakoolkat Norman and Williams heard THREE shots-and the sound of Oswald operating the bolt action mechanism on the Carcano- through the gaps in the wooden floor. They even heard his footsteps-and the shots caused dust to land in their hair.

It was a coup.
torporify 9 months ago
I don't buy into most of the theories on YT, the pics of the TSBD were interesting. Since we need to trust the people who took the photos & made the video (ie., when the pics were taken), it's hard to draw conclusions. I've always thought that the Warren report omitted anything that suggested others were involved as it would mean others were involved. The public would not be happy knowing Jfk's killers would never be brought to justice. They wanted no questions to be left unanswered.
dwayners13 10 months ago
They were relaying the floors that week and the boxes were pushed up towards that end more than usual. But it wouldn't be that unusual to see boxes of books in the windows of a book store would it?
The shapes meant to be people are still there in photos taken after the assassination. Why would any killer hang around for five minutes at that window afterwards?
MALCBAGGIE 10 months ago
@MALCBAGGIE The TSBD was not sealed for several minutes after the shooting. A door was left unguarded in the back of the building. Someone knew who fired those shots, ( diversionary?) and gave them time to get away.
TheAmbassador11 6 months ago
@TheAmbassador11 . The TSBD back door led into the open no mans land of the parking lot/railway yard. We know Oswald came out the front entrance because Robert McNeil of NBC asked him where to find a phone.
Any TSBD gunman would have done the same as a rear escape would lead into the trap of the parking lot. Elm Street offered the cover of the panicking crowd and a chance to melt away into down town Dallas. Why have a getaway car there either when it wouldn't have got out due to the MC/chaos.
MALCBAGGIE 6 months ago
@TheAmbassador11 How does firing a second rifle ''divert'' people from the conspiracy? If there had been plot-I believe they would have planted a higher quality rifle on Oswald and got ONE professional rifleman to do the job. Why complicate things with multiple gunmen firing from different locations? They could have been caught on film or captured or even killed by the crowd.
MALCBAGGIE 1 week ago
@MALCBAGGIE The TSBD was not sealed until at least 10 minutes after the shots were fired. Someone(s) took their time about leaving.

framing of the patsy had to connect the shooting to oswald- he was the perfect patsy. these were high level people who controlled as much as they could. keep in mind the book depo was owned by a texas right wing kennedy hater named BYRD- he was connected to murchinson and hl hunt. here were kennedy's enemies all on the right wing-they considered jfk a commie appeaser and sellout. yet a so-called commie who's political more aware than 99% of the public gets blamed and then shot by a gun runner.

HEMMING: Because he left Miami with the stated intent to kill Kennedy. He had my weapon, a Johnson 30-06 breakdown rifle with a scope on it, that had been prepared for the Bay of Pigs.
