@TheFishingBeast no it dosent, a 12 foot 3.5tc carp rod with a 35lb shock leader and a 4oz lead can cast a long way, mark hutchinson can cast a spod over 200 yards, so your saying if i buy a 20 foot rod and 2lb line i can cast over 200 yards :L
