    Yeah! I watched this movie a long time ago while still in Russia and I loved to scare my friends with that. XD And I still do. It's an inside joke now (with plenty of Hetalia references mixed in)

  • @TheFelya27 No. Polish and Ukrainian versions have this too. In Polish, lector says: "Miasteczko Halloween", and in Ukrainian - "Misto Halloween".

  • I see from the voices and the changes in the song the Russians really wanted the monsters to be scary. in the Original American they are amusing parodies, the Japanese keeps to that. but given these monsters are big deals in East Europe and Russia guess they wanted to give them a scarier feel. Pretty good job of it.
